Minigap is a geometric sans serif family that has a minimal height difference between upper and lower case. In other words for those who are into typography, it has a very high x-height. The choice was made to finally have a typeface that could appear very neat, reducing ascending and descending parts of the glyphs (b, d, g, j, l, ...) that could interfere with the lines above and below. All of that without going to extremes in a unicase style but also without renouncing to a great legibility. This aesthetic, in fact, translates into a pleasant visual effect that creates well-defined lines and enhances the layout, looking excellent also on small screens. The pointed corners of capital letters and numbers have been kept even in the heavier styles, to give consistency to the family. Cell is a sturdy, geometric typeface with many potential applications. Though it is best suited to display sizes, its construction is simple enough for use in smaller settings. Its octagonal, almost mechanical design is softened by rounded corners. The face is characterized by a single thick stroke in each letter, lending it a unique appearance. It also features an oblique counterpart with several italic-style glyphs. Both members of the family also include small capitals mapped to the Private Use Area. Adelphi is a geometric sans, redefined for the northern side of the English Channel. Typographic modernism was a late arrival in Britain — due partly to the Second World War and to the strong local type tradition. This delay provided for fruitful divergence, thus modernism was not adored in quite the same way as it had been in Germany and central Europe. It was instead rethought and repurposed against the backdrop of the bleak British weather and postwar social reform – a continental fashion statement reshaped into a more humanist variant. Likewise, when crafting Adelphi, Nick Job reimagined the constraints that defined the geometric sans as a genre. Whimsical Musical is a vivid, hand drawn font with 405 alternate letters, all caps.
