Citix Two Condensed is a new font derived from Citix Regular –a traditional pen-formed flowing script–, but containing a complete new set of capital letters, titling, ligatures and swashes. The other day, I was cooking a curry and I suddenly realised that we, as a family, eat a lot of meat. At home we do like meat, but given the state our world is in right now, we cannot continue eating meat like there is no tomorrow. Tournedos is a beefy font family: a chunky all caps set of fonts - and a leaner set to counter and complement this rather heavy dish. And do eat your greens!

Serial: a killer font takes influence from the Son of Sam letters. Depicting an unstable mind and ill motives, this font is as erratic and discomforting as its author. Containing two similar but discernible font styles, you can mix and match to create your own story. Serial Regular is neater and more thoughtful. It is controlled and has an obvious flow. Serial Alternates illustrates a very different frame of mind - it is turbulent and rushed with little to no consistency. Serial Regular contains a secondary A-Z set, and a latin character set. Serial Alternates contains over 60+ ligatures (which gives it its natural handwriting style).

Aztek emerged as a custom face for an ethno-music festival, and gradually developed a more robust, geometric base. The original ethno roots can still be seen in some of the alternative caps, and the ease with which Aztek forms decorative elements and borders. There is also an alternative “Tall Caps” set, that goes alongside normal uppercase characters as if they were Small Caps. The font features Latin (extended to support German and Polish) and Сyrillic character sets. Though Aztek is an accidental face designed primarily for display work, it holds well at smaller sizes and can endure high ink gain printing found in letterpress and silk-screen processes.

Einhorn is a peculiar typeface. Difficult to classify, this upright, bold, script-like semi serif typeface was designed in 1980 by Alan Meeks. Meeks was inspired by the art nouveau period, and may have been trying to liven up the design scene. In 1980, typefaces like Helvetica and Univers were ubiquitous, and the digital revolution was still years away. Experimental faces like Einhorn helped fill the gap for creative designers looking for untraditional choices in which to set headlines and advertising work. The merit of pioneer display faces like Einhorn have never lessened; Einhorn still sets a mean display text, and works great in logos and other corporate ID solutions.

Museum is the Wundes foundry's first font revival. These letter forms are scanned from the engravings of Freeman Delamotte who in 1879 published a spectacular set of ancient and mediaeval ornamental alphabets. The original forms for this font were created in 1490, a few years before Columbus discovered America. There was not much information on the origin of this font, save that it came from a British museum, hence the name. The original character set was missing the letters J,P,V and W so I've constructed these letters in the same style to complete the alphabet. Other than those 4 additions, the engravings are true to their original forms.

The name of this robust typeface is adopted quite literally from the slice taken out of certain characters. The same sliced angle is also applied to many of the terminals, creating a clean-cut styling throughout the family. Tilted versions emphasise the descriptive name further, with an implied cutting stance. Wider versions go even further still, taking on a more thrusting, squat dynamic compared to the condensed styles. The standard Sliced family is complemented by Sliced Open, a lighter, more open set which extends the versatility and design flexibility of the typeface and comprises a total of 14 font styles, all with extended European character sets.

Batrider is a Script Display font inspired by vintage lettering in old labels. It comes in two style: regular and textured. P22 Victorian is a font set created in conjunction with the Albright-Knox Art Gallery's exhibition of Victorian-era French artist James Tissot. The fonts developed for the P22 Victorian set are based on historic typefaces dating from the late 19th century. Victorian Gothic was based on a type style called ‘Atlanta’, a simple, expanded width, quirky, yet elegant face similar to ‘Copperplate’. Victorian Swash was inspired by the willowy, delicate face ‘Columbian’, which has also been known in recent years as ‘Glorietta’. The P22 version includes ‘snap-on’ flourishes based on the original 'Columbian' ornamental embellishment designs. Victorian Ornaments features over 150 decorative embellishments.

Matryo is a narrow, sans serif typeface family of fourteen typefaces, ranging from Thin to Black with accompanying Italics. With a soft, rounded form stroke and open shapes, it aims to remain clear and legible at all point sizes and can be set either in longer passages or for headlines and logos. Gryffensee is an original design that bears only the most superficial resemblance to Bastard. Gryffensee is a mediaeval spelling of the lake Greifensee near which I grew up. It is pronounced [?gri?f?n?se?], or "GRIEF-un-say" in English approximation. This font is dedicated to Simone.

Nagel is a contemporary uniwidth display sans serif for headlines and short texts. It’s a closed low-contrast typeface with an emphasis on stroke joints. The length of the line set in Nagel remains the same in all weights. Nagel has all the advantages of monospaced typeface graphics, but none of their functional disadvantages. EraMax Radial is a geometric sans serif meant to be set BIG, for big statements. It's the perfect face for signage, packaging posters, branding and so on and on, where a strong voice is needed. It has a modern look that will work in a retro setting. Or, should that be a vintage look that will work in a modern setting. This is the first of what is to be a series to typefaces inspired by the original hand painted signage found in the TH&B train station in Hamilton Ontario. This classic Art Deco, Or, more precisely, Art Moderne building designed by the New York architectural firm of Fellheimer and Wagner and completed in 1933. The original lettering included about 75% of the uppercase letters only, so the balance of the uppercase and the lowercase plus all the other glyphs were extrapolated from the look and feel of the existing uppercase letters. Figures are based on the numerals on the station clock, with adjustments made to harmonised with the letters.

Adriane Text was designed between 2006 and 2007 with additional production completed by Silas Dilworth for this 2008 release [v1.002]. Focusing on text composition and unique typographic characteristics, details within the characters provide both personality and excellent legibility at small sizes. With a medium contrast, a predominantly vertical axis, and a generous x-height, it can be classified as a transitional typeface. Varp is a rather narrow 2-axis variable geometric typeface with slight reverse contrast inspired by utilitarian and technical design. In Slim and Tight styles, the reverse contrast is enhanced. Typeface is adjustable in width, as if by mechanical deformation of proportions, which is often found in technical and transport markings. The letterforms are based in part on the shapes of DIN fonts, with the deliberate addition of contrasting connections, sharp spurs and massive ink traps for sharpness. With the help of special spacing, selective kerning and adjusted letter width, the effect of a monospaced font is created with no obvious "holes" in the text set, while maintaining a special rhythm. The Bousni family's six faces display links unexpected by most readers of western alphabets. Inspired by both by Arabic calligraphy, and contemporary bitmap design, Bachir Soussi Chiadmi created this playful series of faces. Letters in each of the six typefaces link together, but not in the ways normally expected from script fonts. Suited for a wide array of fun functions, Bousni Carre and Bousni Ronde (each available in Light, Medium, and Bold weights) bring new a style and flavor to your collection. All six fonts in the Bousni family are included in the Take Type 5 collection from Linotype GmbH. The Bousni family espouses similar construction traits with other fonts from Linotype. Specifically, the straight lines and joints in the three Bousni Carre fonts are based off of a grid system similar to Anlinear, another member of the Take Type 5 collection from Linotype GmbH. The letter connections throughout the Bousni family are similar to Arabic kashidas, a typographic feature found recently in many non-Arabic typefaces, such as Linotype Atomatic."

Guilloches were – in the old days – used to make the falsification of banknotes more difficult. The engraving of these intricate lines was done by a highly specialized mechanical machine, which was operated by an equally highly specialized engraving artist. Once the settings for a specific curve were changed back to zero it was very difficult, if not impossible to set them back to the old design. I have designed a useful set of Guilloches that join to form ribbons that create a kind of op-art 3d effect. Under the keys A-U and a-u you find joining pieces. Under the keys V-Z and v-z I placed start- and endpieces. 0-4 are different lenght straight extensions and 5-9 are not quite so straight extensions. All other keys are corner pieces that can be used as stand-alones or put in rows to make for superb decoration. This is the digital makeover and major expansion of a one-of-a-kind melting pot experiment done by VGC and released under the name Mardi Gras in the early 1960s. It is an unexpected jambalaya of Art Nouveau, Tuscan, wedge serifs, curlycues, ball endings, wood type spurs and swashes, geometry and ornamental elements that on the surface seem to be completely unrelated. But the totality works in a surprisingly loud and playful way that really defies categorization. Jingo is really five fonts in one: Over 1000 glyphs, four character sets, ornaments, swashes and ligatures. The forms are interchangeable in uppercase, lowercase and unicase settings. There is nothing low-key about this typeface. It is well suited for use on posters and book covers that require happy weirdness. But most of all it's great for those who like to fiddle with their type setting until amazingly conicidental pleasantnesses ensue. Wien Pro, the sans serif by Ekke Wolf. Typeface lovers looking for a modern, well-developed sans serif font with a touch of retro and warm, individual lettering will get excited about a new addition to the font market. The more than complete Wien Pro front comes in three styles and four different weights. In addition to the upright Wien Pro there is the Wien Pro Oblique with a moderate 6° slant and the Wien Pro Superoblique with an 18° slant. Available weights are light, regular, medium, bold and black. These fonts are equipped with extended Latin alphabet for Central and Eastern Europe and also Cyrillic and Greek alphabet.
