A contemporary slab-serif which revisits aspects of Robert Besley’s all-time classic Clarendon, designed around 1842 for Thorowgood and Co. and named after the Clarendon Press in Oxford. The design of the Newspoint typeface is based on the tradition of the American sans serif faces of the last century.
