This is a blocky typeface with thick lines and no serifs. It's a modern design with a hint of vintage lettering with a thicker vertical line on one side of each letter. Most letters are square shaped. The two styles are regualar and hollow, with the hollow style having the thicker areas hollowed out.

Linked through a common theme, this family is a collection of four styles of typography, Serif, Modern, Slab and Sans. These four styles include a range of Opentype features, they all share a range of numerals and each weight equally features its own additional option, for example adding a titling style in the Serif weight or Small capitals in the Sans.

Have you ever searched for a font that looked like it was really someone's handwriting, only to find that it was too feminine or too hard to read? I used to want a font like that, too, until I discovered that a font like that had been residing in my attic, in letters to me from my late grandfather. Not only was I thrilled to have a font like this at hand, but also one that would be a memory of my grandfather every time I used it. He was a hard-working man, raising a family during the Depression, yet was still fun-loving, kind, and generous. We called him Grandhappy. As a wedding present, I received from him rolling pins and a cutting board made of 8 different kinds of wood that he pieced together. In this font, the bullet is a rolling pin in honor of that! Other than the fact that this is a font from the hand of one greatly loved, my favorite thing is that although a True Type Font, it has some features of an Open Type font. There are many alternative letter choices available through the use of little-used keys on the keyboard and alt codes. This font was chosen to portray Jay Gatsby's handwriting in The Great Gatsby (2013).

Bergamot was inspired by vintage apothecary labels, but this font is actually quite modern in both style and effects. It features all caps plus 2 sets of alternates (so, 4 total variations for each letter). The coolest part… they intermingle randomly as you type! Ok, so it’s not exactly random, but that’s the easiest way to explain what you'll see. The letters are actually coded to rotate with their respective alternates. This effect is both useful or can be purely for fun! Let’s talk about the useful part for a sec… Repeating characters are often a dead giveaway that a font is being used. And sometimes we don't want that, right? We want to give the illusion that our design has been custom hand-lettered for a particular project… and can't be recreated by another. We managed to find the right balance for the perfect universal font family. The family consists of 20 weights, ranging from Thin to Heavy with matching Italics. This font family is suited for everything, ranging from advertising, packaging, editorial and branding, to web and screen projects. Muller comes with a complete range of figure options, including proportional and old style figures, each in its tabular version. Sticky Shoes was inspired by a sign at a local flea market. The artist behind the sign obviously didn’t care much about painting the letters “in the right way” - leaving a slobby and uneven impression. And what is wrong with that? Nothing, if you ask me. I tried my best to capture the charm and innocence behind that sign in Sticky Shoes. I even made the paint version go outside the outline in the Regular version! I added 6 different versions of each letter, and they automatically changes as you type. That goes for all 4 versions, and they even mix very nicely!

A font from the tube: an individual handwriting with a slightly wet character. In this case, the “pen” was a tube of black paint. It’s easy to see that you can’t really write “beautifully” with it. Nevertheless, the “Tube Script” is a beautiful, personal handwriting whose clumsy origins are not at all obvious in small font sizes. But if it’s big enough, then all the peculiarities of the paint container misused as a writing implement become apparent. Sometimes the line is very thin and delicate, sometimes it’s just a thick blob meant to represent a letter, depending on how hard the tube was squeezed. A few spills are inevitable. These coincidences of painterly writing are what make this font so appealing. This creates organic forms, random effects, breaks, streaks, where the writer normally determines the form. As such, this font is a great match for anything organic, picturesque, handmade, personal, or even random, unpredictable, or just plain natural. Hundreds of ligatures make the letters appear in a different form each time depending on it’s combination. And more than a hundred alternate characters can be selected using the corresponding OpenType features, thus enabling even more variety in the typeface. This creates the typically restless, extremely varied impression of a really individual script – almost as if it were really handwritten.
