Obelysk Grotesk was designed by the Lanston Drawing Office in the late 1980s. This face is a reconstruction of Spire (1937) drawn by Sol Hess. The skeleton of Spire Roman stands with the serifs removed. Like Spire, this font has no lower case, but does offer alternate cap styles in some of the lower case positions. Spire and Obelysk have both been used prominently in the fashion industry.

This is not Hollywood. You may be surprised but I am not inspired by the famous Hollywood sign for this type but a grid on a roof of Barcelona. I walked down the street observing the architecture of buildings in the area of the Marina when I saw a grid on a roof. One of the workers put a board on them and the magic happen. Hollywood 69 is now free with 99 !

Keltichi typeface is based on the Book of Kells, the Irish uncial manuscript, the most beautiful European medieval style of writing. Keltichi contains many Opentype features, which make this font absolutely awesome. It looks great, specially titling uppercase sets, simulating the real Book of Kells scripts. Work on this project lasted 1 year, and now, I believe, Keltichi it is the best font simulating the Book of Kells scripts. Glory, glory to the Celts!

A 1928 poster by Italian designer Neri Nanetti for Snob Cognac provided the inspiration for this attention-getting offering, named after one of the Marx Brothers' most memorable movies. This font is artistic. The shape of the letters was taken from the dot art that I worked on consistently. Letters are read by habit and feeling. Sometimes I also think for a moment about what this letter is. But, you soon find out. A brief pause and continuation is refreshing.

Based on the logotype lettering for the Dutch magazine Geillustreerd Schildersblad in 1940, this devilishy different Deco font will add a bit of naive charm to any project it graces. Posy is a flower font inspired by the plant Sison Amomum or Stone Parsley. We find its structure utterly beautiful, and it inspired us to create the 52 cute graphic illustrations which make up this font. The various sizes of illustrations in this font make it easy to create stunning compositions.

Drawing inspiration from both the Western and Circus genres, this design offers a wide variety of uses as a display font. Due to the nature of this design there may be a very slight lack of smoothness to the curves at extremely large point sizes (around 200 pt and above).

Originally issued by the Palmer and Rey Type Foundry of San Francisco in 1884, this typeface bore the name Octagon Condensed, and is as fresh today as it was way back when. Both versions of this font support the Latin 1252, Central European 1250, Turkish 1254 and Baltic 1257 codepages.

Morison is an original but versatile serif family. With just about the right amount of personality and character, it can stand out when needed, but works equally well in everyday tasks where legibility is the key. Curwen Sans is a monoline sans-serif dating from the early twentieth century. Though contemporary with Johnston’s Underground and Gill Sans, and emerging from the same artistic milieu, Curwen Sans was created solely for in-house use at the Curwen Press in London so never achieved a wide audience or recognition. The original face was cut only in a Medium weight, but the new digital family consists of four weights, each with an optically corrected Oblique, and all containing a full complement of Latin Extended-A characters. The "Zornale", is an original manuscript that contains a large amount of data, providing a daily record of the books acquired by the Venetian bookseller Francesco de Madiis, between 1481 and 1488. Zornale is a family of text fonts in five weights that can be combined with the variant Caption with short ascenders and descendants. The family is completed with true italics in two weights (light italics and italics) specially designed for use in reading texts. These fonts have been designed with precise kerning and full OpenType features: Small caps, old-style numbers, Swashes, stylistic and contextual alternates, ligatures and case-sensitive forms. Tramuntana 1 Pro was inspired by the late Renaissance and Mannerist spirit and it was designed by Ricardo Santos during 2009 for his Master in Advanced Typography (Eina-Barcelona). This project was also inspired by Robert Granjon, Garamond and Sabon typefaces. The name tramuntana (Tramontane) is the Catalonian word for the cold wind that comes from the Pyrenees mountains and goes as far as the Balearic Islands. It was designed for editorial purposes (books and magazines). This typeface family contains different font versions for different optical sizes, caption, text, subhead and display, all of them with different x-height proportions and contrast. The serifs are asymmetrical and the letterforms have geometric modulated strokes which simulates the calligraphic variations. Its design approach gives a dynamic feeling, contributing to text flow and continuous reading. Typer Pro (formerly Consul Typewriter Pro) is a modern OpenType font family reviving the look of old typewriters. Its carefully converted forms are detailed enough even for high pointsizes while keeping a reasonable number of outline points. Say hello to another of my hot and trendy scripts, Hot Script! I got the inspiration for this one in the world of sign painters. My neighbourhood, and more specifically the avenue were I live, is very well known for its ''parrillas'': For those who don't know what this means, well, it may be better to live the experience rather than reading these lines. Villa Urquiza is full of restaurants with an argentinian flavour, with a ''gauchezco'' feel. Here you can taste some of the best ''asados'' in the entire world. Ok, this made me hungry, let's go back to type: These amazing venues still mantain genuine elements from the past, and try to preserve the beauty of the handcrafted. Parrillas of Buenos Aires have all their walls, windows and doors lettered with chalk or paint. I've always wanted to make a font out of that, and Hot Script is my first attempt. I believe the results are great! Hot Script follows some rules of the flat brush (see terminals, and tails especially in caps) but its contrast of thicks and thins was manually altered to make the font better for a wider range of uses. Although the sexy curves and versatility of Hot seemed to be enough, I decided to spice it a little more by creating some layers for it: Hot Script Shine Solo or Hot Script Shades Solo combined with Hot Script will give outstanding results. (Look for them combined in the posters above and dare to deny it!) Go make your project more savory! This font is Hot, hot, hot!
