Another bit of font inspiration came to the attention of Jeff Levine through his friend Gene Gable. An image of vintage packaging for Aquapruf Ear Drum Protectors (swimmer's ear plugs) offered the narrow and condensed lettering that is the basis for Slim Chance JNL.

I admit: I had a bit of a crazy week when I thought up an drew this font. I broke my arm during kickboxing training on monday, leaving me in a cast - unable to do most everyday things, like getting a good night's sleep (try sleeping with a humongous cast on your arm). Thank goodness, it is my left arm, so I can still draw letters and use my laptop. So… this font has been made entirely using one arm! It is a bit of a horror font - it sort of sums up my mood right now. Glyphs have very little spacing, adding to the evil look of Plague Master. Comes with a lethal amount of diacritics.

Market Street Neon is an all-caps condensed display font constructed with two rounded-end strokes; the lowercase set is included as a repeat of the uppercase to make setting type just that little bit easier. I designed this font to be a little bit more “San Francisco” (hence the name of the font), with a contemporary and upscale feeling. It’s intended for use in larger sizes of type, upwards of 48 pt. Market Street Neon is perfect for a design that wants to imitate neon—use it in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator or Corel with color & blend effects, and its geometry also lends itself well to simple color for signage, packaging, posters etc. that will pop.

Who made this mess! Material is quintessential paint brush font fun. A little bit grunge, little bit 80s chic. Material is rated R for adult content and violence, violence to the american alphabet. This font soars just like KITT in Knight Rider. Part virtuoso part New Kid On The Block. Feels like you’re painting those letters on yr’ own self! Material is great for billboards, t shirts or video productions. It’s full of smudgy love, it’s loud and is likely to offend but what better way to give your designs that highly sought after ‘edge’.

One of the best desserts I have eaten in my life was a treacle tart. I do know that it was in England and I do know that it was delicious. I really don’t know why I was thinking of that, but that pleasant memory did give me a name for this font. I am still learning my new font software, which is a bit of a slow process. The software I used for this font allows me to add several languages, which, hitherto, I couldn’t access. So, in short, this is my most multilingual font ever: it even includes Vietnamese and a bit of Hiragana and Katakana for you to get creative with!

M Young is a humanistic script design characterised by its modern, lively and youngster-like style. Corona was designed by C.H. Griffith and appeared with Mergenthaler Linotype in 1941. It is a part of Griffith’s Legibility Group’, on which he began working in 1922 and which contains typefaces especially well-suited to newsprint. Corona is based on forms of the Ionic type, perhaps the first style designed specifically for newspapers. The font is relatively small but gives an impression of strength and modernity.
