A set-aside work file featuring a bold sans serif typeface that may or may not have had a vintage source history was given a new treatment. Initially, the solid design was converted to a stencil format and an experiment was undertaken to see what the alphabet would look like with a dual line treatment. Surprisingly, it turned out quite well and the end result is Dual Line Stencil JNL; available in both regular and oblique versions.

MVB Fantabular proves that monospaced faces needn’t be formal or bland. Inspired by the letterforms of older typewriters, Akemi Aoki designed a playful family of three weights with italics. With every character the same width MVB Fantabular works wherever a monospaced font is needed, but the face is so loose and carefree it hides its fixed pitch construction well, allowing it to be used in other settings too. A sans serif version—MVB Fantabular Sans—is also available.

Cindie 2 is an update of the optical type Cindie Mono. It retains the monospace-stacking system of the original, but some letters have been redrawn. Thebes is a font based on an ancient Coptic script. The Copts are Egyptian Christians, and theirspoken language is a dialect of ancient Egyptian. Their letters, however, are Hellenized andresemble the Greek Alphabet and do not have any relationship to hieroglyphics. Virtuosa Classicis the 21st century OpenType re-release of a classic Hermann Zapf design, his very first script typeface, Virtuosa. Kantor's modular stroke and humanist axis defines it as an old-style 15th century Venetian serif typeface. At the same time, the lowercase Kantor alphabet is relatively compressed and has the vertical stems of a textura blackletter. Some years ago we developed a monospaced 12 pitch sans serif for a client. We also created a 10 pitch version that was later discarded. PropTen is the 10 pitch version modified to proportional widths. The name PropTen refers to 'Proportional 10 Pitch'- which is a technical impossibility. It does have a slight 'its time to vote' twist to it. You know, after you pick your candidate you also need to vote yes or no on the following Propositions, don't forget Prop10, the team needs those uniforms.

As the font was pulled into “contemporaneity”, it was completely transformed and revealed its new side. The main catchy detail in the TT Ricordi Fulmini is the aggressive and rather sharp diagonal serifs. In addition, in the process of working on the font, several graphic solutions emerged, for example, the mono-serifs and the very calligraphic connections of diagonal strokes with their historic spirit. We wanted to keep them, and thus 4 thematic stylistic sets appeared in the font, thanks to which we can greatly change the perception of TT Ricordi Fulmini. Johann Neudörffer the Elder's 1538 writing manual fascinated the German designer Helmut Bomm for years. Together with Albrecht Dürer and Hieronymus Andreä, Neudörffer helped create Fraktur, perhaps the most Germanic of all the blackletter styles. As a tribute to this master, and bringing its letterforms to a 21st century public, Boom released the Neudoerffer Fraktur family through Linotype in 2009. Neudoerffer Fraktur's appearance is based very much in handwriting, and Bomm had already begun using letters from prototype versions of this typeface as early as the 1990s. For years, Neudoerffer Fraktur'sletters would appear secretly and seductively in design projects like historical sign restorations or heraldry pieces. The sources that Bomm used while drawing the typeface were images from Jan Tschichold's Treasures of Calligraphy" and Albert Kapr's "Schriftkunst." The Neudoerffer Fraktur family has four separate fonts. Any user of Adobe CS applications should consider licensing Neudoerffer Fraktur Regular (the font without any numeral suffixes). '1812' type family is a revival and further development of the typeface '1812' by Lehmann Type Foundry (St. Petersburg). It was created for the centenary of the French invasion of Russia, known in Russia as the Patriotic War of 1812 along the lines of decorative engraved inscriptions and ornamented typefaces of that time, presumably by the artist Alexandre Benois. It was used mainly for the decoration of luxurious elegant publications. Later, in 1917, this typeface was used on the Russian Provisional Government banknotes. In the Soviet period of time '1812' appeared to be one of the few typefaces included in the first Soviet type standard OST 1337. It was produced for manual typesetting until the early 1990s. This typeface could be seen on Soviet letterheads, forms, posters and even air tickets. The digital version development was launched in 2010. The original version was supplemented with lowercase letters and alternative symbols, the extended Latin and Cyrillic alphabets were fully supported. The font was evolved into a family of 14 decorative styles which can refine any design giving it a festive and elegant but at the same time strict and nostalgic look. Despite its decorative nature, '1812' is perfectly readable in small emphasized text blocks due to its classic shape and careful spacing.

MB Vinatage is a 6 weight font family with italics that has its roots based firmly in the type and font design of the early 20th Century. With some art deco touches in the standard caps like the N and the low bars on the E, F & H, by using the stylistic alternates these can be changed to give the font a more contemporary look. The same applies to the lower case letters, with an alternate a and g and a stylistic lowercase t. Grandecort is derived from the OakPark family. It has lost the serifs, and has moved to a more traditional look. The upper case letters are a bit heavier than the lower case letters, but overall the letter shapes are fairly conventional for a bold, display face. In later 2018 the family was expanded to 9 fonts. GrancMitStripes was reworked to make four new faces: GrancAllStripes, GrancTopStripes, GrancBottomStripes, and GrancCaps. The last can be used as a background layer for the others. Also, The interior of GrandecortShadow was separated out to form GrandecortShadowInside. It has the same shapes as Grandecort-Regular but the spacing of GrandecortShadow and can be layered with the shadowed style to easily create bi-colored letters.
