Makiritare is a display font for headlines that originates from a research work on pure geometry of great simplicity from a Venezuelan ethnicity artisanal form from men called Makiritare or Yecuana. These rivers sailors and architects of the jungle live in the village of Santa Maria de Erebato on the border with Brazil. Despite having a prodigious symbolism in their art, they didn't have until recently a font that is tailored to your expression. It all started with a trip to the Amazon in 1976 with the notion of creating my thesis as a graphic design student. In 1992 I created the first letterform that was evolving to a more elaborate version being presented and selected at the International Typography Biennial Letras Latinas in 2006. FS Rosa is a free-spirited and optimistic serif typeface – reminiscent of those used on fanzines, film sequences and book covers of the 1970s, such as Cooper and Windsor, it has a laid-back nature with a touch of rebellion. Branden – Casual Sans Serif Font is a modern sans serif font family whose design refers us to the style of casual sans serif. The distinctive features of Branden – Casual Sans Serif Font are the relatively low contrast of strokes, the slightly squarish shapes of round characters and the emphasized business like simplicity.

Mark van Bronkhorst designed MVB Celestia Antiqua at a time when font choice was limited. Design was characterized by overuse of the few fonts that came with laser printers. A rustic typeface, recalling the roughness and irregularity of pre-digital printing, was a response to the cold crispness of DTP. MVB Celestia Antiqua holds its own among a large group of other “weathered” serif fonts, in part due to the size of the family: three weights, small caps, italics, and two titling styles. But it's also successful because it's simply drawn well, the contours only as rough as they need to be, enabling text at any size, large or small.

Some words from the foundry: The Pristine Light fonts are clean and crisp, sans serif, uppercase only. They were designed specifically for those applications where uppercase text is appropriate, such as display, headline, logotype, branding, and similar applications. There are numbers, punctuation, accented characters, symbols, and miscellaneous characters. For convenience the uppercase alphabet is repeated under their respective lowercase keys.

Zachar is a Roman typefaces designed for the horror and thriller genre but thanks to its strong distinctiveness it’s also suitable for branding. Bold is on of the most distressed fonts I've ever seen - there's crap everywhere - adjust your leading (line spacing) so the grunge overlaps and you have one awesome effect. Static looks almost like it was stamped on paper: the black color is not evenly distributed and the background comes through the letters and consciously irregular forms reinforce the effect. The characters do not all have the same height, nor do they stand straight and regularly on the base line. Static is a robust font with bold, rounded serifs and is best used for headlines and short texts in point sizes of 12 and larger.

Dolly Pro is a book typeface with a flourishing flavour. She’s suitable for classical book type setting as well as for more contemporary magazine designs. The family consists of four fonts: Dolly Regular is neutral and useful for long texts. Dolly Italic is narrower and lighter in colour than the Regular, and so it can be used to emphasize words within Regular text. Dolly Bold is also useful in emphasizing words within Regular text. It also works well as a display type. Dolly Small Caps is intended for setting whole words or strings of characters. With its relatively low contrast, Dolly is perfectly legible in really small sizes. When Dolly is applied in bigger sizes, such as book covers, more crispy details will show up. These four fonts provide a good basis for most of the problems of book typography. Dolly Pro fonts have Underware’s Latin Plus character set, supporting a total of 219 languages.
