This humanist sans-serif typeface was exhaustively designed, full-featured typeface family that reveals its character and distinctiveness in complex settings. I wouldn't recommend that you use this font for massive text, or text written in CAPS ... but then again, go ahead and try - I even kerned all the capital letters ... just in case that you would do something so crazy! :) Dynamique is a kind of a "straight out of the highway" grid-font. But then again, not ... if you use the lowercase alone, you have this almost monospaced font - try starting every word with a capital letter, and let it end with the alternate ligature, your words suddenly got even more power! If you want to go lightspeed - then use the same technique, but only with the italic version!

One of my all time favourite movies is Baz Luhrmann’s Moulin Rouge. In it, there’s a brief scene where the proprietor of the Moulin Rouge (Harold Zidler) signs away the deeds to the establishment. The actual signing of his signature is what motivated me to create this script font. Although it’s not an exact replica of the character’s hand, I like to think that it has the same crisp immediacy of the original. With its consistent oblique slant, narrow and long ascenders and descenders, and the occasional blobbing of letters, the overall effect, gives the appearance of a correspondence penned by lamplight while a storm rages outside.

In September, 2003 I was contacted by MTV for the restyling of mtv.it I started from the beginning to work on a radical simplification of its visual elements, to achieve a better usability. It didn't take me so much to realize the basic design I attempted would have called for a notable reduction of the rich imagery distinguishing MTV's visual identity. As a visual aid to help me in this process I designed Virna, a headline "op-art" inspired face with the ability to create both vertical and horizontal ligatures between single words among two text lines, with the same ease of linking letters in handwriting or a linked script typeface.

Herculanum is a part of the 1990 program “Type before Gutenberg”, which included the work of twelve contemporary font designers and represented styles from across the ages. Herculanum is a work of Swiss typeface designer Adrian Frutiger. It takes its name from the city of Herculaneum, an ancient Roman resort town destroyed by volcanic pyroclastic flows from Mt Vesuvius in 79 AD (the same eruption that destroyed the nearby city of Pompeii). Herculaneum's ruins are located today in the commune of Ercolano, Campania, Italy. Ancient Roman writings of the 1st century influenced the font's design. Herculanum is distinguished by its broad characters with narrow strokes and its willful character.

What I needed in my projects was a solid oldstyle serif typeface with impact for heads. I had an old engraving font, which I’d never really finished. It happened to be built on the Minister/Diaconia base drawings I used to create Biblia Serif, so I took a shot at it. It’s wide enough to minimize the large solid ink shapes of many of the bolder display headline faces. It’s not readable, but it’s very legible. This is exactly what I needed for headlines, callouts, and special subheads. It uses the same vertical metrics of the Biblia Serif book Production Group It helps keep fiction designs comfortable

Itemone is a pixel-based typeface consisting of 5 styles. It is suitable for posters, flyers, t-shirts, magazines and more, giving your designs a cool contemporary look. Museum is the Wundes foundry's first font revival. These letter forms are scanned from the engravings of Freeman Delamotte who in 1879 published a spectacular set of ancient and mediaeval ornamental alphabets. The original forms for this font were created in 1490, a few years before Columbus discovered America. There was not much information on the origin of this font, save that it came from a British museum, hence the name. The original character set was missing the letters J,P,V and W so I've constructed these letters in the same style to complete the alphabet. Other than those 4 additions, the engravings are true to their original forms.

The name of this robust typeface is adopted quite literally from the slice taken out of certain characters. The same sliced angle is also applied to many of the terminals, creating a clean-cut styling throughout the family. Tilted versions emphasise the descriptive name further, with an implied cutting stance. Wider versions go even further still, taking on a more thrusting, squat dynamic compared to the condensed styles. The standard Sliced family is complemented by Sliced Open, a lighter, more open set which extends the versatility and design flexibility of the typeface and comprises a total of 14 font styles, all with extended European character sets.

For decades, the National Show Card Writer Company of Minneapolis, MN produced sign making kits used by shopkeepers, schools, churches and many other types of organizations. The standard sets were comprised of two part stencils that when overlaid, produced finished lettering, or a buyer could choose the same type style designs with a standard stencil letter. From one of these templates comes Show Card Stencil JNL, in both regular and oblique versions. Take note that the U, V and W have the heavier vertical strokes reversed. As this was the way the original stencil design was manufactured, it has been retained for this digital type as well.

Brushland was initially born as custom type project, where the goal was to achieve a natural feeling as if it was really written.
