Floyal Rush is 100% handmade, it’s organic looking and super friendly in a funky wobbly way! Although inspired by grafitti, Floyal Rush has got this cartoon and whimsical vibe to it. I don’t know about using Flyal Rush for massive text, but I would suggest short words and shout-outs - but I dare you! Go ahead and challenge me! This is the first true pixel-font released by CheapProFonts. It may not be the first font based on a 5x5 pixel grid, but it probably has the best language support. The glyphs have all been optimized for Flash (by making the pixel shapes slightly overlapping) and should render sharp and perfect when set in 10px size (or multitudes of 10). As with all pixelfonts: make sure to place the text at coordinates with whole numbers, and always use left (and NEVER centered) alignment. Poacher is a hand-drawn font inspired by the popular Hand Of Sean font, by the same designer. It has a looser, fun feel and is great for applications aimed at children. Gold Standard got its start from a few letters found on an old Gold Certificate from 1882. From those few letters spelling out the word GOLD, the rest of the alphabet was designed to match. The lowercase design was based on lettering found on an old silver certificate from approximately the same year.

Pegasus scrapes the DNA of a great twentieth century painter who scattered text across his work like no other… not any kind of facsimile, but tough, playful, adaptable display type forged from the bones of a unique writing hand. Three weights - Skinny, Domestic and Peso - each offer five alternates for each letter, three for each numeral and multiple versions of many punctuation and other symbols. Letters are uppercase only with the lowercase providing one of the alternate forms of each letter… with OpenType Contextual Alternates switched on, you get automatic variation between the two… and you can manually throw in wilder variations from the remaining alternates. Some repeated punctuation - periods, question marks, etc. - are automatically varied too. OpenType Stylistic Set 1 switches to a rowdier selection from the alternates… Set 2 flips all the E’s to distinctive ‘skeleton’ alternates… Set 3 introduces automatic variation into numerals. Save some $$$ by purchasing the Whole Livery Line - all three weights at a nice discount... or, if you're really hurting, Cheapskate offers just two alternates for each letter and a single set of numerals.

Sailor is the digital rendition of a film type that was popular in the early- to late-1970s. The type was called West Futura Casual at Photo-Lettering by David West. Some of the letter shapes of the original were replaced with more contemporary versions, but the originals remain accessible as alternates from different cells within the font, along with some other alternates and letter combinations. Just as the name implied, this sort of lettering is what happens when someone tries to apply Futura’s geometrical principles with a casual hand brush. This style has been popular for over three decades now, and is still going on strong. Posters with casual attempts at geometry are seen everywhere these days. Sailor’s brush style is now the standard visual expression of fun, cool, and happy atmosphere. It has the kind of versatility that can excite the eyes of children in cinemas, brand a product as happy and hip, turn a sign or banner into a cheerful invitation, or just make a poster or book cover that much more appealing to the eye.

Sinkwitz Gotisch is a new release of the font of the same name originally designed by Paul Sinkwitz in 1942. The Sinkwitz Gotisch was 1942 by Schriftguss AG Dresden font cast first cast and later supplied by the East German firm VEB Typoart. Paul Sinkwitz (1899-1981) has created them. This font displays not the characteristics of a chunky Gothic, which have influenced the image of national socialism. Paul Sinkwitz was a painter, graphic artist, wood engraver, was interested in religious topics, which he had presented in numerous graphics. But also his interpretation of his Gothic font is modern, without having the font this is ugly. In addition to the GOTISCH he created Roman Uppercase letters, which perfectly harmonize with the lowercase letters. This extra font is called BASTARD. The digital version of Sinkwitz is a beneficial addition to a Gothic with calligraphic character and should be in any historically interested graphic design.

Lumios is a freehand casual marker script that was created using Pilot Sign Pen. It has both extended Latin and basic Cyrillic support that is enhanced with oodles of ligatures (latin as well as cyrillic) and alternates. As a compliment to the script I also created Lumios Design Elements font that can be useful in brand design, greeting cards design etc. Both fonts were carefully traced by hand and have clean edges, hence they are safe to use in all graphic design software (including but not limited to Adobe Suite, Silhouette and Cricut Design, Affinity Designer etc) as well as on websites. The script is fully unicode mapped. To use it in Silhouette and similar applications that do not support OpenType features (yet), you may need to use your default Mac/Windows software such as Font Book or Character Map to select alternates you need. Lumios Marker is a perfect companion to Lumios Typewriter, sharing the same soft curves and clean letter edges.

Front Desk is designed to be easily readable, its increased legibility coming from the slightly enlarged lower case letters (a greater x-height) which make it easy on the eye. Also it is slightly slanted (but a lot less than a normal italic angle) to give it a more informal and modern look than a perfectly upright font would be, which is also intended to contribute extra dynamism while reading. Five available weights give adequate variation, and there are some Condensed and Expanded varieties in the complete set. A primary feature of this font is that the serif bases and tops are not indented or concave, which gives clear straight edges to the serifs, and the removal of this complexity adds to the clean lines and crispness of the font. The package contains both OTF and TTF versions - install either OTF or TTF, not both versions of a font on the same machine.

Homage to 70s phototype typography in 3 styles The AW Conqueror typeface family is a nod to the spirit of phototype typefaces and transfer lettering from the early 70’s. Founded by Ed Rondthaler, Photo-lettering catalogs swarmed with more daring typefaces than the others. Both transfer letter and phototitling have liberated the principle of letter-to-letter spacing, previously impossible with metal type. Phototype allowed operators to position millimeters, on the fly, letter after letter: words, sentences according to the specifications of the art director. AW Conqueror superfamily AW Conqueror Didot is part of a larger family, who include 4 others subfamilies with great potential: They’re but based on same structure, with some connection between them (width for example), to offer a great & easy titling toolbox to any designers, from skilful to beginner. Each of the members try their best to be different from the others because of their features. They should work harmoniously in contrast. Inspired by the old Stephenson Blake Caps only font Algerian from 1908, this version, named Algerian Mesa, has been freshened up with a new matching lowercase. The original Algerian, on page 142 of the 1908 Stephenson Blake specimen book, was a small caps to a more decorative lining caps and the plain black version, without the shadow line, was named Gloria. Also on page 142 of the 1908 Stephenson Blake specimen book is a shaded Latin font that gave me the idea for the Alt version of Algerian Mesa. The Alt version works well at smaller point sizes combined with the regular Algerian Mesa font on the same page. New for 2016 were Opentype features including original alternates, oldstyle numerals and case sensitive forms, also new is a fully usable Alt version. New for 2022 are the higher x-height, 90% small caps, 80% small caps and all new italic versions. Also new for 2022 are straight sided accent marks replacing the flared or curved accents. While Algerian Mesa includes some alternates our related Tavern font will still remain the version with more alternates and more weights.

The inspiration source for MFC Spindler Borders is a collection of border treatments revived from the “Catalog 25 TYPE FACES” by Barnhart Brothers & Spindler. The border designs were recreated from two different border sets, “Classic Art Borders” and “Classic Black & White Borders”. This collection of borders represents a structured repetition of elements in various ways to create elegant patterns and backgrounds. You can start with a new document or work on a new layer within an existing document. Select MFC Spindler Borders from the font menu. (Some users may have font previewing enabled in the font menu which will cause the font name to appear as border elements, disable this option in order to choose the name) Make certain that the point size of the font is the same as the leading being applied to the font so the borders will meet up properly. While we’ve adjusted this within the font, your program may override these settings. For instance a 12 point font should have 12 points of leading. Diamante Robusto Font is my new font, where all the letters came out of this strange shape created without intention of being the inspiration for this new font.

Many fonts have carried this name. Ours goes back to just before 1900 in France. This general style had considerable popularity among job printers all over Europe. We have even seen it used for name imprints on medical school diplomas, which seems a bit grotesk. Surely you can do something better with it.

Chucara next is the newest font designed by Juan Pablo De Gregorio, a typeface aimed at high readability when set in paragraphs or large chunks of text. Its predecessor "Chúcara", born in 2003, sought after increasing readability by achieving big and simple counterforms. This time around Juan Pablo went further by increasing the X-height and trimming both ascenders and descenders, thus the font appears to be much larger than it is and can be readable at smaller sizes. The DNA of the whole font is marked by the terminal of the "a" character. Juan Pablo used a specially crafted cut to design this counterform, and this shape together with the graceful and winding forms of the letter resembles the form of a horse, hence the name Chúcara, or untamed. The italic version has a 10-degree angle and a 10% condensation, making it way more streamlined than a regular italic font. The Philosophy of a larger counterform is maintained through and through in the italic variant. This version looks different not only due to its inclination, but the sheer effort put into carefully taking care of the condensation and the gestures allow the italic to enrich the texts gracefully, for the highlighting of the words stands out without affecting the grey of the paragraph. Chucara next is a typeface optimal for being used in books, newspapers, magazines, texts, printing, headlines, editorial, quotes, corporate identity, and lo res printing. The typeface has 8 weights, ranging from “thin” to “black”, and two versions: "regular" and "italic". Its 16 files contain 635 characters with small caps, stylistic sets and different kind of numbers. It supports 219 Latin-based languages, spanning through 212 different countries. The engraver Jean Jannon ranks among the significant representatives of French typography of the first half of the 17th century. From 1610 he worked in the printing office of the Calvinist Academy in Sedan, where he was awarded the title "Imprimeur de son Excellence et de l'Academie Sédanoise". He began working on his own alphabet in 1615, so that he would not have to order type for his printing office from Paris, Holland and Germany, which at that time was rather difficult. The other reason was that not only the existing type faces, but also the respective punches were rapidly wearing out. Their restoration was extremely painstaking, not to mention the fact that the result would have been just a poor shadow of the original elegance. Thus a new type face came into existence, standing on a traditional basis, but with a life-giving sparkle from its creator. In 1621 Jannon published a Roman type face and italics, derived from the shapes of Garamond's type faces. As late as the start of the 20th century Jannon's type face was mistakenly called Garamond, because it looked like that type face at first sight. Jannon's Early Baroque Roman type face, however, differs from Garamond in contrast and in having grander forms. Jannon's italics rank among the most successful italics of all time – they are brilliantly cut and elegant.

Wink has been created as the result of exhaustive research, trial and development. It is an OpenType set of fonts which appears in a friendly and fun way, with a new twist on what Joluvian has previously created. Full of personality, with a brave and strong creative line, it is intended to reflect authenticity when being used in all types of media and styles. The ornaments offered in this font work as a graphic resource that expand all the possibilities for Wink users.
 
Although Wink is inspired by traditional calligraphic flourishes, its modern twist makes it elegant and simple at the same time. It’s not  completely a brush type but it has been created with the same calligraphy base Joluvian usually works with. Wink also has a caps version with the same style of the script. Both versions could work perfectly, individually or together. As usual, the type has been developed with Ale Paul for Sudtipos, and the collaboration of Macus Romero has been essential to illustrate the style that Wink represents.

Fonton is a contemporary and modern bigger display font, inspired on bigger ton barrel shape, designed as posters font, with very soft curves drawing each stroke, The project regards 2 weight sizes, regular & small. Is useful in poster but also in covers and headings, letterhead, magazines, POP & Graphic culture, hip-hop topics, urban representations, and big sizes prints, Volumetric 3D shapes, etc. Now decorative ligatures, alternates and figures as the same graphic style as Fonton all powered by OTF technology.

Coffinated features letters on coffin shapes. This caps-only family has two sets of characters, with one on coffins that are flipped from those in the other set. The OpenType feature contextual alternatives (calt) prevents two characters from the same set being adjacent. The two styles, bold and regular, can be used in layers to add color. There are not a lot of uses for macabre lettering (horror? Halloween?) but Coffinated is available for those who do find a use.

Tropen Font Family comes in one weight with six different types of styles but compatible at the same time with each other. All fonts are hand-made. It can be accessed to the extras with the standard keyboard codes which makes the use of font files very practical and easy. Tropen Font Family was designed carefully to create elegant works. Faithfully reproduced from my father’s design drawings made at The Municipal School of Arts and Crafts, Wolverhampton in 1939. Strong nostalgic influences of Art Nouveau and Art Deco. What caught my eye was the consistency with which each particular character was formed: every ‘R’ like every other, every ‘S’ the same. Tight letter spacing and loose word spacing characterised his titling but he didn’t trust himself to print without first ruling guidelines, a hint of which remain in this font.

Many current poster artists like to reference the graphic type styles that were popular in the ’60s and ’70s. Zaftig is a contemporary font that takes the geometric and blocky inspiration from that era but then steps off in a modern direction. At first glance, it may appear that the capitals of Zaftig all take up the same amount of space, but certain letters have been designed proportionally for a better flow. Zaftig contains the basic character set and will work for most European languages. If you like your OpenType fonts with more features, Typeco also offers Pro version of Zaftig that includes Tiling Alternates, Stylistic Alternates, Small Caps, Small Cap Figures, and support for most languages that use Latin, Central European, Cyrillic, and Greek scripts.

This family typeface consists of three fonts which have the same weight and style, but have been designed to work best at different sizes and in slightly different contexts. It is based on handwriting and calligraphy and consists of three typefaces: Rumba Small (for texts), Rumba Large (for headlines) and Rumba Extra (for words). The family is based on the idea of fonts that are interrelated depending on the differences in contrast, expressiveness and use, not on the classic range of weights. This type has been designed specifically but not exclusively for use in the languages spoken in Spain, hence special attention has been paid to the design of accents, special characters and ligatures. Bronto is a typeface that mutated many times: it went from being morphologically conventional, to have soft features, to finally have some inverted contrasts that made it more dynamical; but all this without losing sight of the meaning of a typefamily, and the aim pursued by this work: Bronto doesn’t behave as a piece of art, but as a tool. In some weights, this typeface possesses fluffy characteristics and is boldly bighead, while in other versions is slightly contrasted and controlled; this in order to maintain the essential features of the typefamily along the versatility and usability of the 20 variations that composed it. Bronto it’s inspired in neo humanists typographies of the 20th century, and in Chilean lettering. This kind of work was made by the spontaneity of the paintbrush, which gave an inverted contrast to some characters. This typeface has plenty of OpenType features, specially an extensive set of ligatures in all weights. Bronto is well suited for motion graphics, letterings, web, advertisings, magazines and books.

Neon is an experimental, retro display typeface designed by Superfried. Neon features two styles which can be toggled via shift. As the name suggests styling for the typeface started with classic neon signage, but quickly took a new direction of its own leading to a very distinct and versatile display face. Neon has been featured in Computer Arts magazine.

It doesn’t take long to see that Cheap Skit is a super legible, easy going font. It is intended to be used where text needs to be clear and legible, but have certain amount of handmade energy.
