In the December, 1947 issue of Modern Screen magazine, a feature article showcased actress Deborah Kerr with the title “Imported”. The typography used for the headline of the article was a hand lettered, extra-bold, sans serif stencil design. Hiroshige was designed in 1986 by Cynthia Hollandsworth (now Batty) of AlphaOmega Typography, Inc.
