German type designer Achaz Reuss created this display and sans FontFont in 2004. The family has 26 weights, ranging from Extra Light to Black in Compressed, Condensed, Normal, Semi Extended, and Extended and is ideally suited for advertising and packaging, logo, branding and creative industries, poster and billboards as well as sports. FF QType provides advanced typographical support with features such as ligatures, alternate characters, case-sensitive forms, fractions, super- and subscript characters, and stylistic alternates. It comes with tabular lining and proportional lining figures.

If pastrami on white bread with ketchup is for you, this font is NOT. Its strictly pastrami on rye with mustard and slaw on the side.

Edito is a completely new bodycopy font. The special thing about this font is, that all serifs have the same height. So no matter if you take the thinnest cut (A) or the fattest (F), you will always have aligning serifs. I started Edito as an experiment. I tried to enhance the classic and sturdy Times font. But I soon dicovered, that it would be more efficient to take only the basic idea behind Times (the robust design) and start from scratch. It turned out a real solid and useful typeface for everyday use. In due time I will add a couple of extra cuts. Yours in a journalistic mood Gert Wiescher

An unusual angular vertical script. In late Victorian times it was seen mostly in advertising work, seldom in social stationery and announcements.

This monospaced version of Galix was commissioned in 2037 by the space exploration company Earth2, as part of a major overhaul of their branding, which had used, since 2021, a generic sans serif (much like every other company). Many specialists in both design and space exploration suggested that this very rebrand started a chain of events that concluded with the invention of time travel in 2041. Contrary to the perceived notion put forward in popular Science Fiction, time travel is only (as of now) possible in the digital realm. It was considered fitting that included among the first files sent back in time should be the Galix Mono typeface, which was remade in OTF format to ensure that it would work with the technology available in 2019. Earth2, for all their insight, did not foresee that the release of the typeface in September of 2019, would lessen the impact of their rebrand. What kind idiots would rebrand a forward looking company with a font that was, by then, almost 18 years old? The subsequent lacklustre response to the redesign didn’t inspire the tidal wave of R&D funding Earth2 had anticipated, and the company went into administration in the summer of 2039, having never invented the time travel which made the release of Galix Mono in 2019 possible. Experts believe that the files sent back in time, although their very sending made it impossible for them to be sent, remained as “time relics” of the future that might have been.

HardTimes has been hard work, designing a handmade typeface must always have the right balance between rough and smooth, specially with this Times-like face. It has the big European glyph-set, so that it can be used all over the continent I come from. I gave this font extensive kerning. Mekon is a modern heavyweight typeface digitised and expanded from Peter Steiners Black Body (1973). Retro style Pacman shapes are combined with small keyhole counters to create a bold and witty font ideal for apparel, books, t-shirts and posters. Neometric is a contemporary sans serif that is built from a geometric foundation but with a more natural approach to the heavier weights creating an enhanced visual approach throughout. The standard version features sharp apex tops on the N & M characters creating a unique and powerful look that would be the perfect font for branding, digital or offline treatments. Neometric features extensive European language support as well as basic Cyrillic to add to the flexibility and useability for big brands and small companies alike. The font is made up of 36 styles, including two subtle design variations each featuring 9 weights plus matching italics.

Colin is a fresh, somewhat futuristic geometric sans serif type with a large x-height that, to me, communicates both seriousness and cheerfulness. It supports 70 languages incl. monotonic Greek and comes in 7 weights with a small number of alternate glyphs (ss01) for more flexibility. It features fractions, old style and tabular figures. Colin works great in titles, displays and short paragraphs. And where does it come from? To be honest, the reason for this font is a selfish one. I wanted a typeface where my initials (n and c) look identical, just rotated by 90 degrees. That didn’t completely work but, hey, it’s pretty close.

Utlity Signage JNL is a collection of fifty-two various "all purpose signs" we've all seen in hardware and variety stores is perfect for spot illustrations in ad copy, making one-off images for props in a stage play or production or even for novelty jokes or gags. As a graphic designer, sometimes it’s impossible not to be inspired by the Swiss Style, specifically the work of Armin Hofmann, who is one of its best exponents. Grids and grotesk and neo-grotesk typefaces are a fundamental part of the tools that make this aesthetic possible. A visual language that has caused full admiration since we were students. Therefore, we decided to design Armin as an homage to Hofmann’s work. Technically, we added stylistic sets applied to the letters –G, R, a, g, h, l, m, n, r, t, u, y– to make Armin more eclectic and suitable for the creation of any visual language.

Breton is a geometric slab serif typeface inspired by Boston. Breton has a strong personality and it is an ideal face for headings and branding design. Its most noticeable characteristic is a great difference of proportions between rounded characters (like "o", "c" or "e") and non-rounded ones (like "n", "m" or "z"). By combining them, you will be able to give your compositions a very unique rhythm. Each font style comprises 417 characters, which support more than 200 Latin-based languages, as you would expect from Latinotype fonts. Breton comes in 10 styles, from Hair to Black, and includes matching italics. Breton was designed by Daniel Hernández and Rodrigo Fuenzalida.

Benua font family, a sleek and modern sans serif font designed with unique curved details at the letters a, d, l, m, n, p, and r. Controller is a geometric rounded sans serif including 5 weights and corresponding obliques and their extended style are ready. Originally, the designer was inspired by a mixture of techno and organic design in the end of 20th century around the West Coast. The letterforms of this font are designed geometric but are also slightly rounded to make a natural, warm and organic impression. Uppercase N has its alternative glyph that can be accessed by using OpenType stylistic feature. Controller is a versatile and useful family for a wide range of projects. Silver Thread is a hairline thin geometric sans serif font with both art deco and 1970s elements to it. Perfect for any project that needs a typeface which evokes elegance and sophistication. Digitally revived from an older photo-typositing face, Silver Thread is named after a waterfall in eastern Pennsylvania. The font contains alternate versions of B, Q, W, &, a, e, k, n, s, t, u, w, y and 4 for added variety. They can be found under the Stylistic Alternates OT feature. Jukebox fonts are provided in OpenType .otf format and all fonts contain basic OpenType features as well as support for Latin-based and most Eastern European languages.

Enfluence is a modern typeface perfect for titles and short texts. It could worked in print and digital mediums. It depicts a fresh and modern image but with some winks to older typefaces. About the shape of the letter, it was built with a wide “x” height, short ascendants and descendants, a high contrast, angular serif, and some round terminals. Some letters such as “m, n, h” show a light inclination in the right stem. These characteristics give this typeface great readability with a strong attraction to the eye for its cool forms. Autumn Melody is a modern calligraphy font that adds a classy and deluxe touch to your designs. The main pursuit of this font is to give you that authentic hand-calligraphy feel. Autumn Melodycomes with a full set of uppercase and lowercase letters as well as ligatures and beautiful letter alternates. Francker is a sans-serif, based on clean and simple design principles that betray its Danish origin. Its curves are based on the “super ellipse”, a mathematical shape about half-way between an ellipse and a rectangle. Francker’s lowercase lettershapes a, b, n, and u, have no spurs, emphasizing the simplicity of their construction. The Francker family is available in two widths, normal and condensed, each in nine weights, from extra light to extra black. Use Francker for signage, posters, magazines, advertisements, or corporate identity projects—wherever an industrial, contemporary look is needed. The Francker type was developed and designed by Anders Francker, an engineer and designer living in Denmark.

Ritafurey is an extended sans in seven weights, with characteristic low bowls on the P and R. Modern, sleek and corporate, but with a dash of character. It has been used on tech logos, summer blockbuster movies and Playstation skateboarding games. This new version reinstates the original Unicase versions of the M and N (available through the Glyph palette or Opentype options), adds extensive international character support, redrawn and respaced glyphs, a new Regular weight for better weight flow distribution, and many other additional glyphs. (Note the the new weights differ slightly from the old of the same name, so may change the appearance of existing files.)

Eurostile Candy is a fun spinoff from Akira Kobayashi's Eurostile Next family. As the name implies, it is based on Eurostile but with many striking new features. Most obviously, the corners and joints have been rounded off to give it a more friendly and softer feel. On top of those changes, the main skeleton of many characters have been modified. Any extra strokes have been removed - such as in the a, s, or t - and joints have been simplified to create even more square shapes - like in the n and r. With these contemporary and futuristic-styled alterations, Eurostile Candy is a cool new design great for many display projects.

This highly stylish, engraved blackletter font was cut by Rudolf Koch between 1919 and 1921 for Klingspor in Offenbach on Main. It was then sold under the name Deutsche Zierschrift. I completely redraw and extended this font and called it Zierfraktur. To take full advantage of this fine headline blackletter font, please use it from, at least, 18 points upward. This font contains a bunch of useful ligatures, and it is recommended to activate both Standard and Discretionary Ligatures. The round s can be reached by typing the # key, and you get the numero sign by typing the combination N-o-period and activating the OT feature Ordinals.

Here are Modern Sans created with a bit of playfulness and clear grotesque. However, clear visibility and balanced contrast, are the main features of all glyphs. This modern Sans font family is designed to complement each other with balanced stem consistency and resisting Alternates. If you want to meet a grotesque with a different feel, try using these Alternates. Morocco is a round, curvaceous font from Swiss designer Michael Parson. Many of the letterforms in Morocco are inspired by the Modern Greek alphabet. Five of the lowercase letters have additional ascenders/descenders that are not typical in the Roman alphabet (h, n, s, u, x). This experimentation continues into the uppercase as well; many capital letters in this font have been bequeathed with ascender or descender-like elements, and some capital letters, like the Q", only come up to the x-height of the lowercase letters. This experiment in type design is one of ten from Parson that has been included in the Take Type 5 collection from Linotype GmbH."

A modern sans serif with open round forms. The ”round“ letters emphasize the condensed open oval; the light counter forms provide the rhythm of the typeface, causing the typeface to appear gentle and pleasing. The ”modern“ design of a and g being especially contributive here. All of the letters are recognizably narrow, almost ”condensed,“ the forms being very functionally shaped. The construction of the ”triangular“ upper case letters A M N V W as well as v and w, especially catches the eye with the shafts joined together as beams are stacked upon each other. With this construction Hedwig displays a down-to-earth touch. Contrary to the classical sans serifs, a few letters were given light echoes of serifs which promote fluency: a d l are displayed below the line in a reading direction and end in a compressed but also very short serif style; on m n p r the upstroke is gently displayed and on u the downstroke. For all the typo-maniacs among you designers there are alternative forms for a number of letters in Hedwig: A B D G I M R W and a d f g j l ß u. Even an antiquated ”long“ s and an upper case ß is available. Plus, Hedwig includes numerous ligatures which can save that little bit of space where required and which allow the typeface to appear more variable: ch, ck, ct, fi, fj, fl, ff, ffi, ffl, ft, mm, ti, tt, tz.

Gryffensee is designed to be the Futura of blackletter, combining the time-honored gravity and relentlessness of the Gothic script with the clean, contemporary freshness of the geometric sans. Built from a tightly controlled inventory of lines, arcs, sharp cuts, and OpenType features, Gryffensee was born and raised in the digital age, yet retains the powerful charisma and human warmth of its mediaeval blackletter ancestors. As a result, it excels in a wide range of display settings, logotypes, and short text. Unlike most conventional blackletters, it even handles all-caps usage with grace, and includes an extensive Cyrillic character set (in the Pro version). Apart from a generous range of automatic ligatures and contextual alternates, Gryffensee offers stylistic alternates that allow users to customize its appearance to their tastes. The capital letters |AGHIKZ| come in alternate cuts that trade traditional shapes for increased legibility, while the letter |s| appears in three cuts, each with a unique, distinct flavor. All these options are accessible through OpenType stylistic sets in the main Latin font, Gryffensee Eins. For easy use in applications without OpenType support, we provide two additional Latin fonts (Gryffensee Zwei and Drei) in which these options replace the default cuts. Finally, Gryffensee Pro offers all the functionality of Gryffensee Eins, plus Cyrillic support. My intention to devise a contemporary geometric blackletter was inspired by four hand-painted letters, |ABCD|, in Sasha Prood�s online portfolio. I later found out that he had, in turn, taken those letters from an existing font, Bastard, by Jonathan Barnbrook. Luckily, by that time my project had taken on a life of its own. Gryffensee is an original design that bears only the most superficial resemblance to Bastard. Gryffensee is a mediaeval spelling of the lake Greifensee near which I grew up. It is pronounced [?gri?f?n?se?], or "GRIEF-un-say" in English approximation. This font is dedicated to Simone.
