Compose is a clean modern and minimal font family. It has nine weights each with an oblique version. Gobsmacked is a rather new English word. It has been around since 1959 and was used mostly around Liverpool at that time. The word means: ’astounded’, ‘flabbergasted’ (another nice word!) or ‘speechless’. Gob could be of French or Scottish Gaelic origin and means ‘mouth’. Gobsmacked font was created using a brush and black gouache. The result is a very eroded, very legible and quite unique brush font. I have created alternates for the lower case letters, plus two double letter ligatures (oo and ss). Use it for any design that needs a little brushwork; I am sure the result will leave you gobsmacked!

Syke is a versatile, sans serif type family that combines both humanist and geometric concepts. A companion to the monospaced type family Syke Mono, it blends narrowly rounded letter shapes with subtle square detailing, creating a design ideally suited for typographical work in digital applications. For some reason I had Paul Simon’s song ‘You Can Call Me All’ in my head when I was busy working on this font, so I just had to call it Bonedigger. Bonedigger does not dig bones, but it does have ‘heavy bones’, as it is quite big. Bonedigger is seriously eroded and would look great on book covers and product packaging. It comes in a lovely regular and italic style and a seriously twisted inline style (with, of course, its own italic). As the song goes: With a knick-knack paddywhack, give the dog a bone, this old font came rolling home.

Mixed designs of Futura and Bodoni (Fudonis) are quite popular. Apart from being contemporary, such fonts provide excellent readability. However, most of the existing 'mixtures' were not good enough in terms of balance for P. Kraft. He was finally inspired by a noticeable 'mixture' in a Japanese fashion magazine. His intention was not to combine two existing fonts but to design a completely new typeface: Bohemian - named after the well-known Japanese fashion style in Shibuya/Tokyo - the Bohemian Style.Bohemian and Parametra can be mixed perfectly since their proportions and dimensions are the same.Bohemian was designed for the URW++ FontForum.

Linotype Brewery is part of the Take Type Library, chosen from the contestants in the International Digital Type Design Contests of 1994 and 1997. This text font is available in six weights from light to black and was designed by Gustav A. Grinberg. An outstanding characteristic of the font is its light stroke contrast and its constructed forms. Its tiny, triangular serifs first become noticeable in very large typesizes, much like the Dutch fonts of the 17th century, Copperplate, for example. Bandalero is a witty display font from British designer Richard Yeend. The letterforms in this poster/display typeface are quite square-ish and geometric. The lowercase letters have short x-heights, and the uppercase letters look dressed for a showdown, with bandoleer-like elements strapped across their tops. Because of this, Bandalero should only be used in large sizes, where it can really stare down its opponent, or reader. This might be the best font yet for a keep out sign! Kaleidos Rough lining is a brush script. It has two versions; Kaleidos Rough and Kaleidos Textured. The rough version has rough edges to mimic authentic brush strokes. The textured version also has those rough edges and in addition it has a brush stroke texture to mimic dry ink. Both versions are sketched and drawn with a pointed brush pen. Kaleidos Rough has plenty of alternates, ligatures and swashes so you can build interesting-looking words and headlines.
