Rudge is an intentionally rough sans-serif font. It was designed to share the look and feel of many “antique” fonts, although it lacks the standard serif look of those fonts. Bouclé is a monoline decorative typeface family of three subfamilies—Plain, Round and Loopy. Plain and Round come in two weights—regular and bold. Bouclé Plain, as its name states, has minimal decorative features in comparison with Bouclé Round, and especially Bouclé Loopy. Thus, Bouclé Plain fonts could be better used for display text purposes. Round and Loopy fonts are reserved for highly decorative cases.

The idea for this font family, derived from SMS text message faces (Emojis) and found photographs of faces collected over the last ten years. The concept for this project was to a create text-face characters using only the glyphes found in a standard version of a Sans Serif typeface. There are 36 different Textfaces. Available in three weights, Regular, Bold and a Stencil version.

Designed at Polygraphmash type design bureau in 1951-52 by Vera Chiminova, Isay Slutsker, et al. Based on Candida of Ludwig&Mayer, 1936, by Jakob Erbar. This typeface has the characteristics of slab-serif, but serifs are much thinner. The capitals are of generous width, x-height is large. Good legibility in small sizes makes this typeface useful in newspaper and magazine typography, while strong character shapes provide for pleasant display lines. The digital version in 3 weights was designed at Polygraphmash by Alexander Tarbeev in 1988. Small capitals, additional Bold, Extra Bold, and Extra Condensed styles were developed by Manvel Shmavonyan and released by ParaType in 2008.

ZIGZAG is a funny font family whose letters have four varieties each in order to multiply expressions and attract the eye by breaking the rhythm of reading. There are two styles available Rounded and Not Rounded. The variations oscillate between a hand-drawn design and a geometric or imaginative drawing. Opentype’s function lets you choose between different variations of each glyph and contextual variables allow to mix the styles. Benoît Bodhuin designed ZIGZAG Rounded in 2011/12 for the theatre Vivat. In 2013 ZIGZAG Rounded was supplemented by ZIGZAG Not Rounded.

A robust oldstyle, an elegant slab, 8 styles Geneo, created by Stéphane Elbaz, is a synthesis of historic and present-day visions of typography, a slab serif constructed on an oblique axis. Presenting a condensed Art Deco sans serif font with rounded corners and squared inner lines, based on the hand lettered title on the cover of the sheet music for 1944’s “Just A Little Fond Affection”. Allerton JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions, and was named after a neighborhood in the Bronx, New York.

Squared letters with rounded corners – Deco stylized letter forms – some characters with ‘hook’ semi-serifs – such is the mixed styles that comprise the hand lettered title “United We Stand” on a 1940s-era piece of sheet music. This unusual conglomeration of character shapes inspired the aptly named Hybrid Deco JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.
