Kurkuma (Turmeric in Dutch) is a spice I use in all of my curries. And I love curry! It's not more than fair to name a font after my favorite ingredient, so here you have it: Kurkuma. It is a unique and somewhat bizarre font with both an angelic and a diabolical side. I wouldn't set a whole text in it, but it does look great in headlines, posters and websites.

Like our first "1871 Dreamer Script" this script font was inspired from a lot of manuscripts, notes and drafts, written by the famous american poet Walt Whitman. Drunken Tower may look like a bit like my a Drunken Hour and Drunken Shower fonts. But there are a lot differences! This font is way more distorted and rugged than its brothers! The font has got Ligatures for double upper- and lowercase and numbers as well. Plus, an alternate version for each letter - again, both upper- and lowercase! Arabesque is a romantic, ornamental font, in which intertwining, flowing lines and generous loops enhance the beauty of the basic shapes. Arabesque successfully combines legibility with a decorative, sumptuous style. In its European interpretation it was also called "Moresque". The font "Ability" was the origin of Arabesque, however, numerous, subtle changes set it apart. Arabesque, is characterised by a small x-height and relatively large ascenders and descenders (loops). The loops are created out of two or three delicate, intertwined lines that contrast with the much less expansive bowls and shapes of the lowercase letters. The capitals, more complex and composed of intertwined lines, echo the elegance of the loops on the lowercase letters. As a result of these changes "Arabesque" is both more readable, controlled and extravagant than "Ability". Here's what I said about the original Ginza: Sometimes you get an idea stuck in your head and the only way to get rid of that demon is to put something down on paper. A year later the doodles became a skeleton, and then the skeleton had a body, then the body had a name, then the name got a personality. What was left was a clean set of fonts that encompass a very simple skeleton with a lot of visual appeal. And now with Ginza Narrow: Once Ginza was released, I immediately wanted to commit the time to create a narrower version—if for nothing else but to add additional versatility to the skeleton, but my schedule just would not allow it until a client recently asked me to. There was no need to ask twice as I had already started and then shelved the initial builds. I also had the opportunity to expand the localization of the fonts by adding Cyrillic.
