But some expressions never look good in the boldest, brightest of Type, for it is their Vocabularic nature and deep interpretations. In such cases The Demon Font shall fill the role gracefully. INSPIRATION When I recently started my web graphic novel focusing around Demonic Possessions, Crime and Paranormal occurrences, I felt the need to have a type that spoke very unconventionally and supported the language of my story. I wanted to break apart from the usual Comic Sans like typefaces used for decades in Pop cultural mainstream Comics, and wanted something very sublime and independent in style concurrent to the the parallel digital media of Web Comic genre. Thus I created my own type to help translate the communication of my plot thicker to the plain old “Lettering” Font.

A faux script font typical of classic american branding. I have totally reworked all the letterforms: they started with a “notch” and ended flat - I have removed the “notch” and rounded off the ending stroke, so now you can actually start words with the lowercase letters. I have also improved the spacing (especially after the capitals), and of course added all the “foreign” glyphs. A classic is reborn! Hubba is a modular geometric typeface. Its heavy weight is excellent for headlines and display. There is a plain, oblique, and opposite oblique styles. The variable version will give you the opportunity to be more free in design and not limited to standard styles.

Kodama are spirits in Japanese folklore that inhabit trees. The term is also used for trees in which a kodama houses. Kodama Forest is a rough, spikey and inky font, in the style of the great Ralph Steadman. Kodama Forest comes with a bunch of alternates, some interesting ligatures and a lot of splatter. And, of course, all the diacritics you can throw a tree spirit at.
