Adelbrook is a dynamic serif typeface that keeps calm. It enriches text with the archaic structure of humanist type, because its characters arrange in a harmonious rhythm with a dynamic stroke, asymmetric serifs and stems that lean in the direction of reading. Nouvelle is an elegant sans serif family of six fonts (light, regular, semibold and italics). This modular typeface works just as well as display typeface as it does in body text. This hand-crafted font was designed for architect, blueprint and drawing use. Small font sizes have good contrast and are very easy to read. Larger font sizes create distinguished-looking headings. The Techno sound of the 1990s, a personal computer, a font creation software and some inspiration had been the sources to the F2F (Face2Face) font series. Alessio Leonardi and his friends had the demand to create new unusual faces that should be used in the leading german techno magazine "Frontpage". Even typeset in 6 point to nearly unreadability it was a pleasure for the kids to read and decrypt the messages. About Al Retto: "Al" means "Alessio Leonardi" and Retto "straight", but if you read it as an italian world means "in the a**".

Any typeface has two intrinsic elements that does´t work at the same levels, form and appearance. These peculiar visual behavior generate a wide range of graphics games. At reading level, we observe a uniform gray spot, but large bodies allows us to appreciate their shapes and counterforms. Milio takes this duality to offer unparalleled service in newsprint and magazine publishing, specially in small bodies but hard and formal cogency in titling. Its wide variety of weights, 10 in total, together with a slight condensation allows us to save space without losing legibility, even under poor printing conditions. Its basic quasi humanistic forms include support for a wide range of details that give great originality and strength. A friendly appearance, but a strong, all-road typeface with internal forms that reinforced visibility in small sizes thanks to its high average eye and the contrast that generates its soft curved external and internal squared angles. The nuances here are fundamental and explain its powerful large sizes, where you can see these contrasts between the curved, organic, humanistic, and straight, angled, almost mechanical shapes. Milio has the bonus of a large multilingual support for all alphabets based on the Latin and Cyrillic, as well as large Opentype features for expert users, among which we have true small caps, ligatures and automatic contextual alternates. Several sets of numerals for use on tables and other “delicatessen” as fractions are also included. The inspiration for the Okaytext family came from seeing so many fun, highly individualized special-use fonts. Alongside this massive selection, the choice of simple, plain & readable typefaces is relatively spartan. As a newly established foundry, we feel it a "must" to contribute our very best work to this important but oft-neglected genre of fonts. So the construction of the Okaytext family began. We feel that a rounded, sans serif font should be easily read, and very clean looking. It does not need to tire the eyes with any needless twists or silly quirks. So is Okaytext, it exists simply to be read, and hopes that it is a pleasant read. Okaytext is perhaps our most versatile font yet, its ultra-simplicity makes it adaptable to the demands of almost any typeset environment. Okaytext is extended, containing the complete West European diacritics & ligatures, making it suitable for multilingual environments & publications.

One design sparks another. As Alejandro Paul experimented with the strokes and curves of the monoline script Business Penmanship, he discovered interesting new forms and shapes that didn't fit the Spencerian theme of that typeface. These forms simmered in Ale’s subconscious over the next three years, during which time he visited New York City, pored over rare type specimen books in the New York Public Library, and explored Brooklyn’s neighborhoods. Brownstone, the face born from these explorations, is an original 21st-century design, yet one subtly infused with historical and cultural references -- keen observers might spot influences from decorative typefaces of 19th-century foundries. And just as faces from that era were influenced by contemporary architecture, the frames included with Brownstone echo the ornate iron railings of Park Slope’s row houses. (There’s also a slight 1960s vibe to Brownstone, of novelty swash-sans photocompositing faces, that can be played up at your discretion.) Influences aside, Brownstone has broad appeal to modern audiences. A soft, monoline sans-serif, with elements of Swiss geometry (see the ‘k’ and ‘x’), its marriage of highly legible, draftsman-like letterforms with decorative swashes and ornaments reflects the old-meets-new aesthetic of the DIY craft culture seen in Brooklyn and other urban centers. It’s ornamental but unfussy, romantic but understated. Brownstone includes character sets for Latin-based languages, including Western and Eastern European, Baltic, Turkish, Maltese, Celtic and Welsh. Over 1500 glyphs, including small capitals, swash characters, alternates, and ligatures, in both Light and Thin weights. Ornamental frames are also included in both weights.
