A faithful reproduction of the common French Ronde of the nineteenth century; the design originates at the Inland Typefoundry in St. Louis as French Script and was revised by Morris Fuller Benton in 1905 and made popular by ATF under the name Typo Upright. Stephenson Blake also had a version available as Parisian Ronde.

Highbrow Cafetorium JNL is a very "minimalist" font in the sense that there's only the basic lower case characters and essential punctuation. The lettering is based on a neon-and-bulb wall sign for a long-closed cafeteria on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach, Florida. The 'b', 'd', 'k' and 'l' have unusually high verticals.

My beautiful mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in August 2011. Our family's resolution was to love my mom through this time- to stay by her side and remind her each day that she is not alone and that she is loved as she walks this difficult road. This font was made in her honor.

BD Motra is fat wide uppercase font with some variants on the small character keys. The inspiration source for this typeface is the stencil lettering on Honda’s rare Motra CT50 off-road scooter made in Japan 1982. The font usage ranges from big lettering on vehicles, cargo boxes, products, buildings with an industrial approach.

From the title on the sheet music for the 1935 composition "Along Tobacco Road" comes Deco Triline JNL in both regular and oblique versions. Reminiscent of Broadway if done as a neon sign, this typeface virtually shouts about the Manhattan nightlife of the 1930s. For maximum readability, space the letters a bit wider than normal.

Mondia is a modern serif font family with 18 fonts inspired by transitional and contemporary typefaces. Mondia has been designed with high-contrast character ratio to give an elegant touch, and high x-height to give sentences more legibility. Ranging from thin to fat with its matching italics, Mondia offers many possibilities to be applied in many graphic or editorial projects. Adrian Frutiger came up with this unusually purposeful and strong design in 1981 for Linotype. Early humanistic typefaces of the sixteenth century, especially Jenson, served as models for Breughel. The right sides of the stems are vertical and at right angles to the baseline while the left sides of the stem curve into the serifs, making the typeface look as though it slants to the right, and giving it a sense of movement and liveliness. The ductus of the broad-edged pen is reflected in the flow, rhythm, and texture of text set in Breughel, but at the same time this design has a regularity of form that is typographically solid. Breughel is an ideal typeface for the designer with skill and vision. Use it to create innovative publications, posters, and advertisements.

After readings and reflections about the process-poem,“anti-literary” movement, contemporary of concretism, a font of simple form that could provide directions and sense of reading demanded its creation. So we have done the labor of the processual, modulate by consequence and not by option, born with autonomy and authority. The process demanded soon two things: first, to not be one more “hard to read pixelfont” used only by its creators; second, to attend to the requirements of the poem-process, not like a good daughter but like a modern and comprehensive grandchild (the generations understand themselves to the jumps).

Linotype Salamander is a part of the Take Type Library, selected from the contestants of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contests of 1994 and 1997. Designed by German artist Michael Struller, the font seems to be composed of strokes and curves jointed together to form characters. Yet Salamander also looks like a handwriting font, in part because of its slight lean to the right. The font contains four basic weights, from regular to demibold, and two particularly heavy double-weights. Linotype Salamander is a light and lively font, particularly good for short texts of point size 10 and up or, in its heavier weights, for headlines and displays.

DF Staple Mono is a personal answer on the archaic and ‘middle-of-the-road’-forms of typewriter typefaces like ‘Courier’ and ‘American Typewriter’. The form of a staple (office supply no. 1) and its transformations inspired me during the design process. The first four weights are all monospaced and are completed with a real italic.

This typeface has been influenced by the ongoing traffic congestion in Melbourne, and its lack of functional and reliable public transport as a possible solution. The font shapes are square-edged constrained angles, reflecting the way the Melbourne population feels when using the public transport system or roads. Use as headings and body copy in any graphic situation.

Thoroughly contemporary, clean, and ready for work, Tilden Sans was designed by Delve Withrington to be no-nonsense but still stylish and friendly. Tilden Sans is square-ish with low contrast and a generous x-height. Curvilinear strokes like those in the capitals C or S, and many lowercase letters feature incised terminals offering a measure of distinction from other sans serifs, without sacrificing legibility. All of those features work in unison to make this typeface a pleasure to use and read. The Tilden Sans family has seven useful weights ranging from Light to Black and features a glyph repertoire of over 900 glyphs with language support for 225 languages. This versatile typeface performs brilliantly in a host of sizes. The Regular and Medium weights can be used at text sizes, while the Light and Black weights are great for display size settings.

»Supra Demiserif« is the demi serif addition to the Supra family. I am no fan of slab serif fonts, so I designed this one with half serifs, that makes the serifs less important. Then I found, that the italic does not look nice with slab serifs, so I did only one italic cut for the normal weight. The light and normal weights and the dominant x-height with its high ascenders make for easy reading of long copy. The heavy and x-light weights are great for elegant headlines. Supra is an OpenType family for professional typography with an extended character set of over 700 glyphs. It supports more than 40 Central- and Eastern-European as well as many Western languages. Ligatures, different figures, fractions, currency symbols and smallcaps can be found in all cuts. with each other.

Lark is a modern calligraphic sans inspired by a rich history of broad-edge and translation contrast calligraphy. Linotype Really, designed by Gary Munch, is a typeface family of six weights with italics and small capitals that offers a broad palette of expressions to draw from, sensibly light to brightly stentorian. The moderate-to-strong contrast of the vertical to horizontal strokes recalls the Transitional and Modern styles of Baskerville and Bodoni, and the subtly obliqued axis of the stoke weight recalls the old-style faces of Caslon. A strong belt of sturdy serifs completes the Realist sensibility of a clear, readable, no-nonsense text face whose clean details offer the designer a high-impact display face.

Monoicono is a graphics font which contains various iconography related to environmental, health, weather, emergency, quality control, and synergy. There are a total of sixty-six items which includes a light version in the lowercase letters and a bold version in the uppercase letters as well as various numbers that have additional icons. The idea behind the font called Chaco originated after testing the deficiency shown in road signs in Latin America. The design began after a long documenting period. Throughout the various stages of the work,  there were several  tests and checks  conducted of the formal solutions implemented which, based on the results, would gradually be changed until we finally reached, in this way, its definite design. The original project for the font features three steps, namely: regular, light and bold, yet by making progress in the development, it was possible for us to perceive that by enlarging the black and thin variances, the family with 5 different weights could offer very good results in mass media, such as newspapers, magazines and television. In order to expand its possibilities of utilization, the set was completed with italics and small capitals.

Joyosa is an elaborate script written with a broad pen; it gives the impression of a flowing ribbon.

Raniscript started out as an idea for a bold and strongly structured ronde style script with some contemporary touches. As I tinkered with various forms it took on a life of its own. Having an old world feel, it makes me visualize faded shop signs from India written in English. The name comes from a series of colorful vintage matchbook designs advertising the Flying Rani. You'll find Raniscript ideal for packaging, book titles, brochures or anything requiring a robust display treatment. It comes fully loaded for OpenType savvy applications. Three full sets of caps are included. By clicking the Titling button in Illustrator you can type using an all caps set that includes ligatures, case sensitive punctuation and language coverage.
