Falstaff first appeared with Monotype in 1931, an alphabet in the style of a wide, bold antiqua that was especially popular in the first third of the 19th century. Such typefaces distinguished themselves through their consistent basis in the transitional antiqua style. They are characterized by their extremely fine unflexed serifs with no curve connecting them to the thick strokes. The numerals with their generous curves and ball-like stroke endings and beginnings are particularly decorative. The vertical strokes are dominant and give lines of this typeface a column-like and therefore static look. Falstaff is today often used for book titling, especially for mystery novels. Skiltmaler is the typeface that refers to the style of decorative arts during the Victorian era 1837 to 1901, the Victorian era was the period in which fly poster typography emerged. The large amount of colour in combination with large font sizes were created from movable metal type. As well as being made from wood, this was used to create the two-coloured typefaces. You would imagine this would be specific to the '3D' styled type seen on the poster to create the drop shadow. Skiltmaler works well with normal size text, but it works even better for large displays, short words, or even just to incorporate a few or single characters in a design.

Versteeg was originally designed as a font that would work at a singular pixel level. In the spirit of this reduction, Versteeg was designed with an x-height of 3 units with capitals at 4 units. This extreme simplification is what makes Versteeg unique. After designing the square version of the typeface, creating a series of circular versions was a natural evolution. These versions have a resemblance to braille, but don't actually have a relationship with any braille characters. The width of each face is carefully designed to make sure that the letters will align perfectly in multiple lines. Versteeg is, for the most part, a display typeface, and isn't recommended for large blocks of text.

Galaxo Dot is a sister to Galaxo Line. HGB Galaxo is a tribute to Othmar Motter (1927–2010), the Vorarlberg graphic artist and typeface designer, who designed very individual and perfectly crafted typefaces in the 1970's and later. (Motter Ombra, Motter Tectura ...) From a Motter sketch of 5 letters for a logogram, I derived a simplified letterform and developed all the necessary characters. Working on these glyphs and delving deeper into Motter's letterforms, the respect for the accuracy with which he drew his letters (in ink) grew more and more. The spiral resembles the shape of a galaxy, hence the name Galaxo. The font is suitable for retro, poster and logo design.
