GRUND is a new fontographic adaption of a remarkable 1920s epigraphical find in the city of Leipsic. This old well-known European trade fair hotspot struggled with a severe shortage of exhibition space around 1920. The solution was to dig deeper into the matter – literally – and 1924 the world’s first underground trade fair exhibition hall was opened right under the city’s central market square. After several changes of use during the past decades the sophisticated Art Deco entrance structure (architect: Otto Droge) was re-opened in December 2013 as a gateway to a new subway rail track. – The original brass lettering of the UNTERGRUNDMESSHALLE MARKT has been retrieved – and served as the inspiration for this new and unique font. YinYangMessages contains two sets of letters, those on the upper-case keys that fit on the left side of a yin-yang symbol and those on the lower-case keys that fit on the left side of a yin-yang symbol. One can alternate the two sets manually but the OpenType contextual alternatives feature does this automatically in any program that supports this feature. The family contains two fonts. In one the filled half is on the left and in the other the filled half is on the right. The slash and backspace keys contain blank halves of the symbol, which are useful for completing words with an odd number of letters. The two styles can be used in layers. »Supra Demiserif« is the demi serif addition to the Supra family. I am no fan of slab serif fonts, so I designed this one with half serifs, that makes the serifs less important. Then I found, that the italic does not look nice with slab serifs, so I did only one italic cut for the normal weight. The light and normal weights and the dominant x-height with its high ascenders make for easy reading of long copy. The heavy and x-light weights are great for elegant headlines. Several years ago I was asked to do a sign for a rummage sale. To print the words RUMMAGE SALE, I took letters from some of the ornate fonts I was working on at the time. I liked the results, so made them into a font. Fonts from which the letters come include HippityDippity, Tuskcandy, Letunical, OakPark, WyomingStrudel, NeuAltisch, WyomingMacroni, WyomingPastad, and Rundigsburg. The original typeface had two variants of each letter, one on the upper-case keys and the other on the lower-case keys. The name of the original font, RummageSaleOne, acknowledged that a greater selection of letters was desirable but it was only with the upgrade of 2020 that the greater selection was added. The additional variants were added in two ways: as a separate typeface (RummageSale-Two) and also as OpenType stylistic alternatives.

When Jim Lee sent us pages of his latest project, DIVINE RIGHT, we knew we had to do something special for him. Something Unique. We knew we had to create a whole new look for his book. The future is square! Well, at least according to Turbo Modul! Maybe the future is square, but it is also funky - just like Turbo Modul ... and its pretty unpredictable! Turbo Modul is loaded with alternative letters with arrows pointing in all directions, all made to pimp your designs! I've also added ligatures to substitute double letters, and there's a slight difference from caps and lowercase. Wow! That's a lot of different combinations! I tell you what ... I'll admit right off the bat here -- I've never been to a party in a barn. I don't even know if they still do barn dances and parties, or if that's something out of the musical Oklahoma! or something. But this font gave me kind of a homey, rustic feel, so the name felt right! »Brute Sans« is a classic Sans typeface that looks like it has been designed by a chainsaw. »Brute Sans« looks really crude only in big sizes, the smaller the font gets the more it looks like any other Sans typeface. »Brute Sans« prints very fast, because there are no curves to compute, but that is just a side effect. »Brute Sans« is the typeface you should use if you need a really different look, since Sans typefaces tend by design to look very similar. This one is different. I always wanted to do this font, but then other projects crept up so I pushed »Brute Sans« to the end of the line. Enjoy!

Sevastian made it so easy because there is a number before the name like Sevastian - 01 inner until Sevastian - 07 3D Shadow. It means, the lowest number are must on top of them. As you can see on the display image I've been made, I use random combinations. So you can experiment what do you like most.
