Here's a posh serif typeface and its matching italic. Glowing with elegance, Cosmetiqa can go head to head with classic evergreens like Bodoni, Didot, or Century. Patent Reclame manages to be light-hearted, while clearly showing its blackletter roots both in the shape of the individual letters and the rhythm of text on a page. The designer is unknown. Schriftgeisserei Flinsch of Frankfurt a.M. cast the face around 1895. Nicolete Gray shows a quite similar face called “Graphic,” from Stephenson Blake in 1896. Personally, I don't think that Patent Reclame looks like an English design, but I do not have any proof one way or the other. The numbers are proportional, intended for posters, not spreadsheets. Two ornaments are included, an art nouveau rose at #172 and a lilypad with long tendril at #177. Great for invitations, posters and flyers announcing fun events. Do not use for obituaries. Quite readable in smaller sizes for short blocks of text. I really like the buoyant quality -- a nice combination of discipline and enthusiasm.

I've always loved drawing faeries and I love using them in my scrapbooking pages. So after hunting around for a unique decorative fairy font for my crafts I couldn't quite find what I wanted to use, so I decided to create a whimiscal set of fairy drawings and characters that would suffice. I was influenced in the drawing of the fairies by my love of the 3D poser graphics art,several awesome comics, Alphonse Mucha and several Masters of Art. Ryo Gothic is a new Japanese sans serif (or gothic) kana typeface design. Created by Adobe type designer Ryoko Nishizuka , the typeface has a bright and speedy calligraphic touch and can be used to compose readable body text, as it gives a calm and well-controlled color to the typeset page. Eksperiment is danish for experiment. Without much guessing or knowledge to danish, you probably already knew that! I like those danish words containing a "k" - is it because my name is spelled with a "k"? I don't know - maybe it's because it kind of represents the danish language, which is full of words with "k"s. Anyway, the reason for the name is that I wanted a font looking like it had gone through tough times, a bad copy machine and perhaps even crumpled paper...but the experiment is that the font is 100% made using digital media. I used my MacBook and my iPad creating this font. I find it quite amusing, that something 100% digital looks like something organic. I've added 5 different versions of each letter, which is really helpful when working with grunge fonts. It looks more natural, when the same letter rarely repeats itself.

Spy Royal is a junctionless script typeface and comes in 6 styles. It’s a hybrid between script and so called streamline fonts. The origins are based on an advertising by Japan Airlines, dated around 1954, offering flights to San Francisco, Honolulu and Okinawa in the new DC-6B “Pacific Courier” airplane. Only the letters for the words “JAPAN AIR LINES” were used, so that the creative part was to reimagine a full font out of just a handful of uppercase letters. Originally released in 2004, Spy Royal was now undergoing a major rework and is now republished with additional styles like shadow-lines and 3D-shadow. Its charm is manifold, we think everything related to cars, racing, hot rod, vintage, cocktails, retro, restaurants, gasoline and of course airlines will look great in Spy Royal. Spy Royal includes alternate characters, ligatures and West European diacritics.

P22 Curwen was originally designed by an unknown designer. This version was created by Colin Kahn. P22 Curwen Poster is a digitized version of a rare wood type used by the Curwen Press in England in the early 20th Century for poster work. The font was known to have been cut in 6 sizes—from 3-line (3/4 inch) to 16-line (3 inch) in height. The font was based from impressions made of the 6-line type. P22 Curwen Maxima is a hyper-stylized re-interpretation of Curwen Poster by Colin Kahn. As a post-modern poster type, it evokes an organic nature within a novel maximalist framework. It is reminiscent of early phototype display faces with an illogical three-dimensionality which serves to give the font continuity. The capitals are buried beneath stylistic wood shavings complementing the sculpture like quality of the lowercase. Perfect for (almost) any project.

Alex Kaczun, originally designed BottleKaps for Linotype-Hell, in 1992, as a QuickDraw GX multi-master font series. A few new GX applications, like 'Unicorn', where able to utilize these unique fonts. The GX application allowed the user to adjust weight and proportions, on the fly, including glyph substitution for small capitals, old style figures, swash and alternate endings.
