FineArt OT is a casual typeface, created by brush, as an emulation of a conventional typography, however, comes with alternative FineArt Opentype OT for exploring other radical forms of expression. Thus FineArt offers 4 styles in a single font.

Derived from the world famous Rennie Mackintosh Font, the Venezia version gives a very modern look to this classic font, especially when filled with a gradient fill in a graphics package such as Photoshop or CorelDraw - although it even looks great "out of the box". The Venezia name comes from the native name of the city of Venice - one of several Italian cities Mackintosh visited on a sketching tour of Italy early in his architectural career. Venice was also one of the venues of an exhibition of Mackintosh's work on a European tour.

On the Town JNL is a reworking of Parks Department JNL, giving it a classic "solid black Art Deco treatment". The wide monoline font of the original design was inspired by hand lettering on a WPA (Works Progress Administration) poster. Art Deco typography and the streamlined style it embraced often conjures up images of New York City in the 1930s and 1940s, thus On the Town JNL is named for the classic MGM musical starry Gene Kelly, Frank Sinatra and Jules Munchen that was filmed on location in "the city that never sleeps".

Soerabaja is the old Dutch spelling of Surabaya, an important trading port city in East Java (Indonesia). This all caps art deco font was based on old colonial posters I found, plus a sprinkling of my imagination. It seems I have a weak spot for Art Deco fonts named after Indonesian cities - partly because the country has always interested me and partly because my wife’s family is from Indonesia. Soerabaja is quite an elegant font, so use it for your book titles, restaurant menus and whatever else you can come up with.

HERENGRACHT (Patricians' Canal or Lord’s Canal) is the first of the three major canals in the city centre of Amsterdam. The canal is named after the heren regeerders who governed the city in the 16th and 17th century. The most fashionable part is called the Golden Bend, with many double wide mansions, inner gardens and coach houses on Keizersgracht. Likewise, this font is only handwritten with standard characters but on the other hand this handwriting gives the impression of being more familiar, reflecting natural design and spontaneity. He described himself to journalists as nothing more than "a Good Samaritan", and has continued to help his fellow man in Astro City ever since. John JG Roshell has also been struggling with the empyrean challenge of fitting all of Kurt Busiek's ASTRO CITY dialogue into balloons with the regular Samaritan font, so he created the Samaritan Tall font to help his fellow comic book letterers! It's kinda the same thing, really.

Traiectum is the old Roman name for the city of Utrecht (in The Netherlands). When I started working on this font, I wanted to give it a Latin name and Traiectum sounded good! Traiectum is a hand drawn font with a regal and messy look. It was based on Goudy Old Style, a classic old-style serif typeface created in 1915 by Frederic W. Goudy. Traiectum is a multilingual, all caps font and I am sure you’ll find lots of uses for it. The city it was named after, Utrecht, is actually very nice! You should visit one day!

Manhattan Midnight owes its style to Art Deco fonts of the early 20th century. It has the opulence of New York City in the 20s and 30s, the glitter of city lights, the glamour of movie stars, the razzmatazz of Manhattan in the bad old days. A set of square capitals developing from the interest in geometric forms stimulated by the Bauhaus, Bank Gothic was designed by Morris Fuller Benton for ATF in 1930, the same year that Georg Trump designed City for Berthold.

Lithium is a set of symbols coming from different communicative context but designed to be used together. It's like turning on 5 radios trying to understand the mixture of sounds. Lithium was created, above all, to present this kind of sensation using images. Obviously, the result is chaos in lowercase text. Lithium represents the overload of images we are subjected to. With advertising no longer working like in past years, we end up seeing nothing but noise. FF Mode 01 is created with similar concept.

A WPA (Works Progress Administration) sponsored Water Carnival taking place in Central Park in the 1930s had "Department of Parks, City of New York" in the thin Art Deco hand lettering which is now available as Parks Department JNL.

A sans-serif font that I created when long raining in my city. The shape is clean with a dynamic semi-bold stroke. It's suitable for a minimalistic, "less is more" design and useful for display and larger body text.

Dortmunder Ecke ("Dortmund Corner") is a clean, all caps font inspired by Cubism. It really has nothing to do with the city in Germany, but the name stuck and I kept it that way. Comes with a square amount of diacritics.

In a large neighborhood that crosses two cities in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte, Brazil, all streets are still in Tupi-Guarani language. The shop signs are hand painted. And people, every day, come and go along Sycaba Avenue.

Modularico was initially designed in 1991 for the logotype of a sound recording studio in Kremenchuk city. At the end of 2008 I decided to make a digital version of this font. Final design of font was finished in June 2009.

Sumida is a special ward in Tokyo AND the river running through the city. Sumida script is a nice, handwritten font, which was made using a sharpie pen. Sumida Script comes with double letter ligatures and an extensive language support.

Dez Yinznat Stencil is a condensed stencil sans serif inspired by the industrial city of Pittsburgh, PA USA. Stencil type was often used in the steel mills, scrap metal yards, railroads, warehouses, and other industrial institutions of Pittsburgh and is almost a signature for the City. The name comes from combining two colloquial expressions common to Pittsburgh. “Yinz” is used there like "Y'all" is used in Southern States. "n'at" or sometimes "N@" is used to replace “and that” when ending a phrase. This font is dedicated to the hard-working people who made Pittsburgh what it is, N@. High-tech subjects can also find a friend in Dez Yinz'nat.

MTT Roma is designed to re-create the atmosphere of the city of Rome of the 21st century. The studio for the letterform evolved from the Trajan Column alphabet. Suitable for both display and body-text usage, stylistically MTT Roma aims to distance itself from the proliferation of geometric sans-serif families of its time. The result is a sharp, subtly humanist typeface inspired by modern day Rome, the city of contrasts and eternal beauty. Herculanum is a part of the 1990 program “Type before Gutenberg”, which included the work of twelve contemporary font designers and represented styles from across the ages. Herculanum is a work of Swiss typeface designer Adrian Frutiger. It takes its name from the city of Herculaneum, an ancient Roman resort town destroyed by volcanic pyroclastic flows from Mt Vesuvius in 79 AD (the same eruption that destroyed the nearby city of Pompeii). Herculaneum's ruins are located today in the commune of Ercolano, Campania, Italy. Ancient Roman writings of the 1st century influenced the font's design. Herculanum is distinguished by its broad characters with narrow strokes and its willful character.
