Pacaembu is a sans serif typeface that finds its roots in Brazilian football. This seven weight family began as a study of the stone lettering found in the Paulo Machado de Carvalho Municipal Stadium, affectionately known as the Estádio Pacaembu, a real gem of the Art-Deco style inaugurated in 1940. These art-deco letters, like football itself, were brought to Brazil by Europeans and out there in the tropics found a totally unique personality. Pacaembu is a celebration of Brazilian Football, it’s unique flavours, moves, sights and colors which have been delighting fans for generations.

Other familiar type fonts which share this influence are Karnak, Stymie and Beton. Sporting Event JNL was modeled from the film’s titles and is available in both regular and oblique versions.

I’ve never been one for zombies and all that. I did watch a couple of seasons of The Walking Dead, but after the 2.000.000th zombie got whacked, I had enough. When I made this font, it gave me a zombie feeling. One thing I learned from watching TWD was that zombies are always hungry. There you have it!

Regular Joe was first delivered to the font world by Ron and Joe. Yes, the same Ron and Joe of the ArtParts fame. A few years of being so regular, Regular Joe became, well, just bored. Regular Joe needed company. He wished for a family. After all, most of his font friends had big families. His wishes were granted by FontHaus. So Skinny and Husky were created to be with Regular and all together, they became Family Joe. All is well.

Tipperary was designed by Steve Matteson and named for a favorite 'single track' bike trail, Tipperary is a monoline Humanist Sans Serif typeface. Stratham is vigorous sans-serif inspired by the slab serif Clarendon. It is a heavy display face, and has a tangible modern British feel to it. The italic is especially dynamic and forward moving. Stratham includes OpenType titling and swash alternates, old style figures and small caps. Stratham is useful for headlines, highly legible signage or posters and works well in conjunction with the always popular Clarendon.

I am not really fond of Garden Gnomes, but this font is kinda cute and I figured it'd be a nice name. Garden Gnome is a very happy, easy to read Children's Book font. It is bouncy, rounded and comes with all the diacritics you need.

THE NORWEGIAN RUNES The oldest runes discovered in Norway date from 400 AD. They were based upon the 24 - rune Elder Futhark of Germanic origin. Two of the runes in the Elder Futhark, Pertra and Eoh, have never been found in any Norwegian rune text. From 550 AD to 700 AD there was a transition period between the older 24-rune Futhark and the newer 16-rune Futharks. By the end of this period, the 24-rune Futhark went completely out of use and the 16-rune Futharks had prevailed. Then, about 900 AD, the Shorttwiggs-runes were introduced from Sweden. Shortly thereafter, from 1000 AD, Futharks with more than 16 runes became more prevalent, as these were more consistent with the Latin alphabet. These types of runes were used in Norway up to 1800 AD.
