Bitstream Cooper was designed at Bitstream in 1986 by means of adding light, medium, and bold styles, with the corresponding italics, to the existing black ones. Based on Cooper Black, 1919, by Oswald Bruce Cooper, which was firstly released as a hand composition font in 1922 by Barnhart Brothers & Spindler of Chicago and later spread by ATF. Cooper Black is an extra bold face based on Cooper Old Style. Bitstream Cooper is an old style face with rounded serifs and tilted back ovals. For use both in text (normal weights) and in advertising and display typography (heavy weights). Cyrillic version was developed for ParaType in 2000 by Manvel Shmavonyan and based on TM Oswald face of TypeMarket, 1996, by Victoria Grigorenko.

This is a standard, plain face with no special distinguishing features. It was created over a period of four months for use in small text in a cartographer package. While the face was extremely suitable for the purpose it was designed for, the party who was to purchase the family outright decided upon another design, allowing me to offer it up for sale. The original design for this face is nothing new, and has been greatly influenced by many others already in existence. It was not intended to be flashy, nor eye-catching, and I believe I have managed to escape any individuality that could have affected the face. It displays well in the lower text sizes, and, in my own opinion, displays some characters more clearly than some other similar faces that are currently in use (not all, some). While individuality makes a typeface stand out from all the others, this style of design would have been compromised with it.

When designing TT Mussels, we paid great attention to the possibility of imposing large arrays of text, and we can responsibly state that TT Mussels is a rare type of technological text fonts. To go along with the rest, we've created a stencil version of the typeface, in which the location of the incisions changes according to their thickness. In total, the TT Mussels font family consists of 36 faces, which include among other things stylistic alternatives, ligatures, and also implements a broad support for OpenType features: case, frac, ordn, sups, sinf, numr, dnom, onum, tnum, pnum, liga, dlig, salt, ss01. Dynamic contrast is widely implemented in TT Mussels. It is most noticeable in the Black typeface, where the ratio of the thickness of the vertical strokes to the horizontal strokes is approximately two to one. For the Thin typeface, the thickness of the vertical strokes is already consistent with the thickness of the horizontal strokes. You can also find other signs of respect for traditional text fonts in the TT Mussels design, such as the trace of pen movement which is historically typical for antiquas. For example, in the letter M from the Black face, we can first see a thin stroke, then a thick diagonal stroke followed by a thin diagonal stroke, and a finishing bold vertical stroke. As in the case of dynamic contrast, this effect gradually disappears when approaching thin faces. In thick faces, in places such as the “armpits” of the letters MN? or the junctions of the diagonals of WVvw, there are visual compensators that brighten the bold typefaces. As the thickness of typefaces moves from thick to thin, the dimensions and conceptual values of compensators change, and in thin typefaces they completely disappear. El Guapo is a hand drawn font available in sans serif and script faces. It is suitable for headlines and call outs of all kinds where a hand made look is desired. The letters were drawn by Prissy Pots owner Erin Solomon and include regular and bold versions. Each face also includes an entirely separate set of lowercase letters accessible in your glyphs palette. Marli is an adaption of a face designed by F. Schweimanns and issued by the Stempel Foundry from 6 to 48 point, as “Korso”, in 1913. In 1936 the American Intertype issued their version for the line composing machines in 12 and 14 point as “Camera”. It is a very suitable type face for personal stationery, announcements, greeting cards and the like. The font is updated with a full Open Type character set, while also a Cyrillic has been added.

Bronkoh: A Subtly Softened Sans. Bronkoh aims to give a friendly face and soft touch to type both on screen and in print. Humanist forms and generous apertures make this a sturdy and legible face while its softened curves and terminals give it an approachable and welcoming spirit. The large character set and extensive latin language support make Bronkoh a highly functional font; This in conjunction with eight weights from thin to heavy, and matching italics add to its versatility.

The Barry family combines two opposite weights. This display face has a great effect if the two fonts are used together. If you want to make your design ordinary, Barry is not the right choice.

Abagail Jackson is a wild-looking face that was one of my early designs. I had no particular use in mind when I designed it and I no longer remember what inspired this whimsical font.

Tkachevica is a decorative face with four font styles. Tkachevica is an experiment to convert the script-style calligraphy into bitmap format. It looks great in display sizes and also works well when used smaller.

One of the most famous modern Old Face fonts, designer Francois Ganeua developed Vendome with the special features and extravagance typical of such forms. Strong and lively, such details give Vendome its unmistakeable, unique appearance.

PL Davidson Americana is an all-capital typeface based on woodcut designs from the nineteenth century. The PL Davidson Americana font was designed by M. Davison in 1965, during the revival of American headline faces.

Although appearing at first as a no-nonsense bold titling face, Gordon actually offers a much greater complexity through the addition of a wide range of special superscript ornaments. This adds an element of spice and depth to the face, creating a wide variation of creative typographic possibilities.

Pauline is a sans serif with a strong influence from retro scripts. Pauline is a geometric face formed with slow and deliberate rounded brush strokes. The tall ascenders give it a useful touch of naïveté. It’s a face suitable for some interesting titling and short bits of copy.

Canterbury is a late Medieval Gothic font with a rough edge. This blackletter face is available with four different types of Capital initial letters or combined into one Opentype Pro font with all variations plus historic ligatures, alternates and even a few ornaments.

Syntax was developed by Hans Eduard Meier in 1968 and presented by the font foundry D. Stempel AG. Its figures are based on Old Face characters but have a distinctive, modern design. The inclination to the right lends the font a dynamic feel.

Computer is an all-capitals headline font that immediately implies early mainframe computer technology. Although desktop computers and better screen and printer faces have been available for some time, the type style of the Computer font is still used for futuristic topics.

Chipping is a brand new face inspired by Edwardian and 1920s letterforms. It's good for clear and legible headings which need a gentle and unobtrusive period touch, and is the latest is Greater Albion's line of faces to explore the 'small capitals' idea. You will see a broad similarity with our Chipperly family, and the two work well together in combined projects. Four faces are offered: regular and bold, as well as Black with a heavy drop shadow and white which explores the idea of 'whitespace' design.

Gastromond began about five years ago with a question: why are fat faces always based on Didot or Bodoni models? Was there a reason that the stresses of these display faces was always vertical or horizontal and never angled? It was time to find out. Gastromond is meant to blend the Renaissance stylings of the Garamond types with the Victorian outlandishness of the fat faces. The result is an emphatic take on a classic genre. Loaded with swashes and alternates, Gastromond has enough character to go around.
