Capraia is a book typeface, with a heavily quirky look when shown at big sizes, and with an irregular but attractive rhythm at text sizes. Capraia Book and Regular are designed specifically for continuous texts: Book meets a current preference of Italian publishers for lighter faces, while the slightly heavier Regular is intended for the wider international market. True to its vocation for publishing, Capraia has a big x-height, medium contrast and wide bracketed serifs. Furthermore, its slightly flattened curves, some unconventional roman letterforms (a, G, Q) and the 'slanted roman' italics, along with design details such as ball terminals, give to the whole family a very contemporary appeal. Originally the design was intended as a tribute to Caslon's Great Primer but at a certain point the designer was enthralled by Baskerville. Capraia is the unpredicted and original result of that intense experience.

Italiko is a calligraphic font. The letters have been hand-drawn individually to extract the common strokes. The strokes have then been re-composed to give the font a more unified appearance. It comes in Black, Bold, Regular, and Thin. The Thin version is different as the extreme contrast in the font makes the thinner lines disappear. It is likely best used as a display font. I've been in a vintage-meets-modern mood in my most recent font construction, and this is no exception. Whiskey Tango is a fun retro-style tall and narrow sans-serif font with a scoop of variety: it includes over 110 items in the Private Use Area, including small caps, alternates, ligatures, and ordinal indicators. There's just enough imbalance in stroke widths to make this font a little goofy and quirky, and really charming. All of the lines and curves are clean and sharp, making it great for text that's large, medium, or small. And it's great for crafting as well! As usual for me, this font contains over 300 extended Latin characters for language support, as well as full uppercase and lowercase sets of Greek and Cyrillic characters. And everything, as always, is fully PUA-encoded so all characters are easy to access, no matter what method you use.

Where the heck does a name like Chaloops come from? You know that Chihuahua that used to sell the tacos? Chank's mother-in-law calls him Chalupa. And the American pluralization for that must be Chaloops, because that's her nickname for her two little spoiled fuzzball dogs. Another comic variation on Chank's whimsical handwriting, Chaloops is bouncy, quirky, and light-hearted like the Chauncy fonts. It all started with the letter S. I drew it, I liked it, I based a font around it! This is Pickled Limes, a tall and narrow single-case font. It's built clean from the ground up, for ultra-sharp lines and corners, as well as super-smooth curves. There's an appealing quirkiness about Amrys, which offers a confidently unusual alternative to more conventional designs. Its charm lies in its tapering tips, flexing stems, and unexpected notches, which combine to suggest something of the chiseller's tool at work. As a modulated serif, its letter shapes live between serif and sans serif, lending the design a sense of pleasing irregularity – something that's really highlighted at larger sizes. George Ryan's ITC Migrate is a highly condensed sans serif display face that effectively complements ITC Adderville. Migrate represents what Ryan calls a “more highly evolved version” of a typeface he designed for Bitstream in 1991 called Oz Handicraft. “Both faces,“ says Ryan, “are based on designs of the popular early 20th-century type designer Oswald Cooper.” His inspiration came from drawing samples found in the Book of Oz Cooper, published in 1949 by the Society of Typographic Arts in Chicago. “Oz worked extensively with the sans serif form long before it became popular in the States, eschewing a popular belief of the time that sans serifs were only skeletons of letters.” Where Oz Handicraft was informal and quirky, ITC Migrate has a more restrained feel. “The uppercase characters and figures, in particular, have been reworked,” says Ryan, ”resulting in a more formal and traditional, compressed sans serif typeface.”

Meleo is a semiserif consisting of 10 fonts with a few original quirks but still very legible at both text and display sizes. Since its conception, the aim was a balance of uniqueness and functionality. The typeface owes its energy to the slight suggestion of calligraphic crafting and humanist structure. But it also breaks the rules: a small x-height and a whimsical uppercase with resemblance to the lowercase may render Meleo more friendly than a conventional (semi-)serif. Titles and texts of moderate length, like those found on websites, flyers and packaging, are the natural habitat of Meleo, but it may as well thrive under different settings. Meleo supports most of western-european latin languages which are included in the ISO-Adobe character set.

Mondo is essentially a contemporary typeface with vintage clothing, the incise terminals and the humanist ductus brings some of the classical dignity of the lettering tradition to an essentially modern typeface. On the middle weights Mondo is a sans with slightly condensed proportions, build with modular regularity and special care for lowing the tension on the curves, which delivers a very even texture and a sense of quietness and balance to long text settings. On the extreme weights the attention is attracted by the accentuated terminals, the vertical rhythm, the ink traps and the details of its overall construction, making Mondo an excellent choice for headlines and display use when a modern and clean but still catchy typeface is needed.

Theorem is an interesting change from the usual calligraphic work of Koziupa and Paul. An art deco font with a 1990s twist in its capitals, Theorem’s lowercase characters were designed to automatically achieve the best optical spacing in typesetting. To accomplish that goal, a variety of alternates were drawn for most letters, and plenty of vowel-focused ligatures were designed. The automagic of OpenType ties it all together to make a very versatile typeface that is quite useful for packaging and many different applications of display typography.

Introducing a modern display font "Grayson". It's a sans serif typeface with straight geometrical shape that has a lot of ligatures and stylistic alternates. Those OpenType features can help you to create an awesome unique lettering compositions with unexpected characters combinations. Use capital letters to access all those features. Nevertheless it can be a quite simple font if you'll type lowercase letters, which can be useful for small supporting text. My Dizzy Edge font is really not that dizzy! Actually it's quite steady and legible - super good for packaging, greeting cards and perhaps even commercials for toys, candy, t-shirts, movieposters...yep, that list is long! What's more interesting is that the font as got 6 different versions of each letter - at first glance, the letters don't vary that much, but a closer look reveals the sometimes grungy outline of a pen! But theres more!!! Dizzy Edges comes with multi-language accents!!! What's not to like!!!

Nova Caere is a typical urban calligraphy, gestural with its fast lines, with short and slightly noticeable ascender and descender traits. Condensed lower case and rounded capital letters are quite similar in height. Nova Caere has been studied for alternating upper and lower case inside the words of the text, so as to reinforce their expressive content. Stylistic variations that combine particular couples of letters have been developed, as well as some descender traits have been highlighted that can be employed to characterize words and phrases.

Bluestar is a roundhand script with modern touch. It has round terminals and quite low stroke contrast. It has five weights in upright and italic styles. Osaca is a sans serif font family inspired by nature and it is composed of 6 weights, from extra light to heavy, including the matching italics. Osaca is a typeface that doesn't go unnoticed due to its particular design: its curves and lines mirror the typical motif of leaves. Osaca is ideal for large and medium headers and titles, but also perfectly suitable for short or large paragraphs as it creates an effect that is quite different from the classic sans-serif and definitely unique.

Dnipro is a version of experience generalization of Ukrainian decorative font creation. The generalization development was initited by Georgy Narbut and Mark Kirnarsky in the 1920s and continued in 1970-80s. Latin letters of the font have half-uncial forms, which makes it appropriate for the printing of the relevant content. Besides its decorative properties the font is easy to read and quite suitable for short texts. It is well suited for folk tales, Ukrainian and Slavic in general as well as Western European.

Croog is a rounded geometric monoline typeface, built in three weights with true italics. Inspiration for this typeface was derived from FF Roice, with desire to create typeface less spicy or unconventional in appearance and more neutral, calm and friendly to use. Squarish in proportions, monoline letterfoms gain more readability by having short rounded serifs and terminals. The typeface is ideal for use in display sizes, though is quite legible in text. Croog is released as OpenType single master with a Western CP1252 character set.

Quarion is a clean, neo-humanist sans with a contemporary geometric approach. Its design started as an exploration of geometric fonts from the early 20th century, like Futura, Neuzeit Grotesk or Recta which allows the typeface to generate an inviting but sophisticated feel on the page. Although, less contrasting, geometric designs have been quite popular around type designers until today, Quarion finds its niche by combining circular elements with a medium stroke contrast, resulting in a versatile and robust workhorse for any analog or digital application.

Zona Black Slab is a geometric slab–serif display black typeface. It is the brother font of Zona Black which was inspired by posters from the late 1920’s. Despite being black it has a tall x–height, making it quite legible even at smaller sizes. Its strong features are clean lines, neat square slabs and distinctive glyphs which tend to look even more beautiful at large sizes. A charming font inspired by the Brazilian beloved album for children by Vinicius de Moraes, author of the bossa nova classic 'Garota de Ipanema' (Girl from Ipanema) with his partner Tom Jobim. The font has a cheerful cutout look, as does the original album cover designed by Elifas Andreato in 1980. It’s also quite modern in many aspects, not the least of which are the many curvy alternates included, and the smooth flow of the biform shapes when used with the main caps. Gwidon is a family of three quite distinct fonts that perform together very well. Gwidon Regular and Gwidon Line are elegant, fully connected scripts with ligatures to help with flow and readability. Gwidon Caps is all capital letter font which include 2 version for each letter, easily reachable through keyboard upper and lower keys. Gwidon can be used for invitations, greeting cards, posters, advertising, weddings, books, menus etc. Language support includes Western, Central and Eastern European character sets, as well as Baltic and Turkish languages.

May I present to you: Tacky Shoes. Actually there's nothing tacky here - just liked the sound of that :) Just like the letters may look quite straight-forward, but here and there the lines are a bit off, which enhances the handmade look - which makes it great for work like posters, invitations, flyers, stickers or something that has to do with creativity. Each letter has 6 variants (in all 6 versions!) which makes the text look more natural and random - because these variants cycle as you type!

Gladiora Sans serif font family with tapered accents in some of the letters gives it a modern and bold character, even being quite prominent in thin characters. This font aims to give an elegant impression and also looks so luxurious in short wording for a letter-based title and logo. A deconstructive variation of ”Clarendon“ DéFormé was born out of the distortion of the time-honored ”Clarendon“ letterforms, in which the stems and thin strokes have been reversed. Thus, a typeface was created which will remind some readers of a Western typeface, and others of the ordinary typeface of a typewriter. Actually, it is still a robust Clarendon, which has survived ists disfigurement quite well. DéFormé, like its ”mother“, is easily legible, in spite of the inherent emphasis which one is not used to seeing.

Ultima Pro is a geometric sans serif typeface family of eight styles – light, regular, bold and black in roman and italic respectably. Ultima Pro typeface is an upgrade addition to Ultima family (2010). All glyphs have gone through shape refinements, and the amount of glyphs was significantly extended, which enabled support of more Latin languages as well as full support of Cyrillic. Fonts released in OpenType format with some opentype features. The typeface is ideal for use in display sizes though is quite legible in text.

ITC Gema is the work of Brazilian graphic designer Claudio Rocha. It was first written in a small size to keep the surface irregularity of a non-coated paper when enlarged for use as a display font," says Rocha. Many strokes do not quite join, giving Gema the visual effect of a stencil typeface, the distinguishing characteristic of the font. "Some characters have my own handwriting gestures," says Rocha, like elongated endings and angular shapes. Gema comes complete with an unusual variety of ligatures and alternate characters."

Shaking hands is quite a complicated process: do it too lightly and you appear weak, grab too hard and you’re too eager. There are also those with a ‘Guerrilla Handshake’ - grabbing your hand unexpectedly, shaking it vigorously and yanking it toward them. Guerrilla Handshake font was actually made by hand, using Chinese ink and a brush. I did use the brush vigorously, but I made sure not to shake or yank it too much! Guerrilla Handshake comes in a slightly backslanted ‘regular’ version and an italic version.
