Breeze is a fun font from Frank Marciuliano where the letters are formed like the sails from the boat. Etruscan was the language of the Etruscan civilization, in Italy, in the ancient region of Etruria (modern Tuscany, western Umbria, northern Latium, Emilia-Romagna, Veneto, Lombardy and Campania). Etruscan influenced Latin but was eventually completely superseded by it. The Etruscans left around 13,000 inscriptions that have been found so far, only a small minority of which are of significant length; some bilingual inscriptions with texts also in Latin, Greek, or Phoenician; and a few dozen loanwords. Attested from 700 BC to AD 50, the relation of Etruscan to other languages has been a source of long-running speculation and study, with its being referred to at times as an isolate, one of the Tyrsenian languages, and a number of other less well-known theories. The consensus among linguists and Etruscologists is that Etruscan was a Pre–Indo-European,and a Paleo-European language and is closely related to the Raetic language spoken in the Alps, and to the Lemnian language, attested in a few inscriptions on Lemnos. Summerisle was developed from a small sample of hand-lettered characters in one of the two theatrical posters for the cult movie The Wicker Man. The style combines elements of Celtic and Art Nouveau design with a bit of the feel of the late sixties paganistic theme of the movie. We've expanded it to a full character set while preserving the unique look. The name for the font comes from the name of Christopher Lee's pivotal character in the movie.

Handsome, adventurous, legible and elegant, this script has the feel of practical handwriting from past centuries. Aquiline is based on a cursive italic style influenced by the 16th century European writing masters. The Aquiline design team turned to Ludovico degli Arrighi, the great 16th century writing master, for period ideas on how to improve, strengthen and add grace to the font. Aquiline has strokes and gestures that seem very like the writing of Arrighi and Mercator, such as the flamboyant balloon of a flourish on the cap A; the graceful flourishes on the cap B, D, and L; and the compact lowercase with tall ascenders. Aquiline has a strong personality and is historically correct.

When was the last time you listened to elevator music and found yourself humming along? And perhaps the tune you were listening to, got stuck in your ears for the rest of the day...the rest of the week? That's often what happens with elevator music: maybe you don't notice it - but it is there, and it could most likely be one of your all time favourites! :) My Elevator Music font does somewhat the same: it's nice and pretty harmless - but it works, perhaps even without you noticing! :) I've added 4 slightly different versions of each lowercase letter - and that goes for both Regular and Scratch versions. And they both have multilingual support, because elevator music is universal!

The extra bold version of R. Hunter Middleton's "Karnak" (produced in 1936 for Ludlow) served as the model for Bookkeeping JNL and is a companion to Bookkeeper JNL (the light weight version of this type design). Middleton based his "Karnak" family of typefaces on the geometric slab-serif "Memphis", which was designed in 1929 by Dr. Rudolf Wolf and released originally by the Stempel Type Foundry of Germany. According to Wikipedia, "Karnak" "was named after the Karnak Temple Complex in Egypt, in reference to the fact that early slab serifs were often called 'Egyptians' as an exoticism by nineteenth-century type founders." Bookkeeping JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Toothpaste Two is a reworking of Toothpaste . The new font has all the features of the original Toothpaste, but is now even crazier, with the line twisting and turning over and under itself, making a tangled string of text bordering on the edge of legibility. As in Toothpaste, every letter and number connects and there are numerous contextual alternates and ligatures to keep it all running smoothly. This is a fun, decorative font. It would look good on kids' websites, scrapbooks, party invitations and the like. It works best in brighter colors on darker backgrounds, which give the characters a neon light quality. Also, try it with a stroke for a cool cartoony effect.

Maria Martina Schmitt was born in Vienna, Austria in 1950. Since 1998, she has been working as a freelance designer, focusing on cultural collateral, economic publications, illustration, type design, and logo design. Airam blends contemporary legibility with historic blackletter forms, creating a contemporary text face that speaks to the old European past. Airam certainly appears darker than most other contemporary text faces. Airam’s letterforms are slightly broken, too. They display angled joints in lieu of smooth curves. This “broken” aspect actually aids legibility at smaller point sizes. While Airam may not be suitable for setting whole books or newspapers, this font will add a splendid touch to short tracts of small text. Additionally, Airam looks superb in large headlines.
