Decima Mono Cyr is an upgraded edition of Decima Mono X fonts (released in 2014). The new version consists of the same (six) styles updated with larger character sets by extending number of Latin and Cyrillics Asian region languages. The typeface is intended for use in display sizes, but is also quite legible in text and is well suited for editorial and brand design.

A poster circa 1930s-40s designed for the WPA Federal Art Project promoted free band concerts at the Brooklyn Museum in Brooklyn, New York. Its headline (“Free Band Concerts”) was hand lettered in a dual line Art Deco sans serif design. Now recreated digitally, the font takes its name after the poster’s topic. Band Concert JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Franklin Gothic Hand Demi Shadow is another one in my series of hand-drawn fonts from way back in time – before computers changed the way we worked in advertising. Waves is a sans serif typeface with pure but expressive look, which is notable even in smaller sizes. The softly decorative characters are also nicely visible in bigger sizes what makes Waves unique. Bo Berndal's handwriting was terrible in his younger days, and he could not even read his own notes. When he started out as an apprentice in a printing shop, he started to copy Garamond italic and formed his own style of writing. Later he was inspired by both Alfred Fairbanks and his reform-writing and by Paul Standard in the U.S.A and created the Boscribe font.

My intention to devise a contemporary geometric blackletter was inspired by four hand-painted letters, |ABCD|, in Sasha Prood�s online portfolio. I later found out that he had, in turn, taken those letters from an existing font, Bastard, by Jonathan Barnbrook. Luckily, by that time my project had taken on a life of its own. Gryffensee is an original design that bears only the most superficial resemblance to Bastard. Gryffensee is a mediaeval spelling of the lake Greifensee near which I grew up. It is pronounced [?gri?f?n?se?], or "GRIEF-un-say" in English approximation. This font is dedicated to Simone.
