Roc is a sans serif grotesk inspired by American wood types from the end of the 19th century. With nine weights in five widths, this family contains 45 fonts in total. The character set supports Western and Central European languages, as well as Turkish. Roc Grotesk comes in a range of five widths: Compressed, Condensed, Normal, Wide and ExtraWide, in order to cover a wide scope of applications. Although the styles at both ends of each range are made in their most pronounced form in terms of width and weight, they are not taken to such extremes as to become absurd, and are quite usable in display settings. The Normal width keeps all its nine styles in proportionally similar widths. The Compressed width, however, is deliberately made to be disproportionate, so that every style takes the least possible horizontal space. That is why the contrast between Compressed Thin and Compressed Heavy style is substantial. As the weights progress from Thin to Heavy, the stroke contrast becomes more prominent. It is intentionally exaggerated in heavier weights, which is particularly apparent in the uppercase E and R of the Black and Heavy style. Roc has a large x-height and relatively short descenders and ascenders. No uppercase letter descends below the baseline, so the lines of an all-caps text can be packed tightly on a poster or a headline. The Regular style is somewhat generously spaced, as it is most likely to be used for setting longer passages of text. Its Bold counterpart is spaced in such a way that the width of the text column will be similar to the text set in Regular. Tabular figures in these two styles have exact matching widths, so for example, you could emphasize one row of numbers in a data column without visually disrupting the vertical order of the table. The lowercase g and r have alternatives to accommodate what most designers expect from a typical Grotesk typeface. The single-story g and the cut-off r are accessible via the OpenType feature.

Designed by Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini with Francesco Canovaro as a development and reinvention of Tarif by Andrea Tartarelli, Ambra Sans is a humanist sans typeface family, drawn around a lively, expressive skeleton but developed with a contemporary, post-digital sensibility that implies low contrast and tall x-height. In designing Ambra Sans, the authors wanted to research the elusive natural signature of handmade humanist letter shapes, in the effort of preserving it while still developing all the capabilities of type as a technical tool in the digital age. Like a frail insect preserved in amber, humanist design is the "ghost in the machine" of this font, that aims at seducing the viewers with its soft, welcoming text flow, firmly opposing the rigid, formal tone of most sans serif fonts. Born to provide a useful tool to graphic designers with branding and editorial needs, Ambra Sans develops around two subfamilies with slight but fundamental differences. The display family offers a taller x-height, optimizing readability and spacing in headings and display use, while offering a single story lowercase g to provide more consistent branding usage. The text family, on the other side, goes for a smaller x-height to give more traditional proportion to the text and removes the slight tapering in the stems to provide better rendering on screen in small formats. Plakato, a stencil love affair Plakato is a family of display fonts, consisting of various eye-catching styles, each of them very bold. Plakato is an identity toolkit, a heavyweight building block in case you need a strong personality, a small stencil font family to cut out your best ideas and grab all the attention. But just as with many other creations, its outcome is as divers as its multiple origins. Plakato comes in 16 eye-catching styles. The default stencil style comes in Regular & Italic. They both have 2 variations: one version, named Plakato Stencil, automatically creates borders around the text, putting any text into a graphic stencil in this way. Another version, the extruded three-dimensional version, guarantees even more attention for your message. Next to this there is also the Inline version, which is an optical play with a lot of lines. Plakato Inline has a supportive background layer, a separate font in case you want to add a background in a different colour. Then there is Plakato Paper, a manually teared version of Plakato offering a more physical look. This small family of eye-catching display fonts also contains a Neon font, an independent design in Plakato style, which can actually be used for making neon signs due to its construction. The Brass Family has a lineage that extends into English history. About five hundred years ago a devout, but anonymous Englishman gave glory to the God he worshipped by designing the capital letters and decorations of these two fonts. Originally recorded in The History Of Mediaeval Alphabets And Devices by Henry Shaw (London 1853), they are described by Alexander Nesbitt in his Decorative Alphabets And Initials (Mineola, NY 1959) as “Initials and stop ornaments from brasses in Westminster Abbey.” I wish I could say I remember seeing them when I was there, but that was forty-two years ago and all I remember was seeing the tomb of Edward the Confessor. One definition of “stop” as a noun is a point of punctuation. I have heard people from the British Isles speak of a “full stop” when referring to a period. Some may remember a 19th century form of communication called a telegram being read aloud in an old movie, with the use of the word “stop” to indicate the end of a sentence or fragment. A full dozen of these stop ornaments are provided. They occupy positions 060, 062, 094, 123, 125, 126, 135, 137, 167, 172, 177 & 190. The Brass Family consists of two fonts: Brass and Brass Too. Both fonts have an identical upper case and ornaments, but paired with different lower cases. Although the typefaces from which the lower cases were drawn are both of modern design, both are interpretations of the textura style of blackletter in use in England when the upper case and ornaments were fashioned for the Abbey. Brass is paired with Morris Gothic, which matches the color of the upper case quite well. Brass Too is paired with Wedding Regular, which is distinctly lighter than the upper case. I find it very interesting how each connects differently. The resulting fonts are unusual and most useful for evoking an historic atmosphere.

The Englishman William Caslon punchcut many roman, italic, and non-Latin typefaces from 1720 until his death in 1766. At that time most types were being imported to England from Dutch sources, so Caslon was influenced by the characteristics of Dutch types. He did, however, achieve a level of craft that enabled his recognition as the first great English punchcutter. Caslon's roman became so popular that it was known as the script of kings, although on the other side of the political spectrum (and the ocean), the Americans used it for their Declaration of Independence in 1776. The original Caslon specimen sheets and punches have long provided a fertile source for the range of types bearing his name. Identifying characteristics of most Caslons include a cap A with a scooped-out apex; a cap C with two full serifs; and in the italic, a swashed lowercase v and w. Caslon's types have achieved legendary status among printers and typographers, and are considered safe, solid, and dependable. ITC Founder's Caslon® was created in 1998 by Justin Howes, an English designer who used the resources of the St. Bride Printing Library in London to thoroughly research William Caslon and his types. As was common in the eighteenth century, Caslon had punchcut several different sizes of his types, and each size had a slightly different design. Howes digitized every size of type that Caslon cast, keeping their peculiarities and irregularities and reproducing them as they appeared on the printed page. This family has the 12 point, 30 point, 42 point, and Poster styles, as well as a full set of bona fide ornaments. In keeping with the original Caslon types, none of the sizes have bold weights, the numerals are all old style figures, and a full set of ligatures (some with quaint forms) are included. ITC Founder's Caslon® is a remarkable revival in the true sense of the word, and works beautifully in graphic designs or texts that require an authentic English or historical flavor.

Archive Garamond is a typeface roughly based on the designs of Claude Garamond (ca. 1480 – 1561), a French publisher and a leading typeface designer of that period. Garamond’s influence on type design is reflected in many typefaces that are today known under different commercial names. While the majority of contemporary digital interpretations of the “Garamond types” are cleaner and more polished versions of that genre, Archive Garamond tries to keep the rough nature which was typical in the early days of printing. Archive Garamond has a rather unique, distinctive temperament which is even more emphasised with the preserved non-uniformity, such as irregular glyph shapes or a variable baseline. Although Archive Garamond was clearly made to be used for display sizes it works surprisingly well in text. Archive Garamond is availale in three versions, each containing approximately 600 glyphs (in Pro versions). Archive Garamond Pro A Professional version of the typeface contains all glyphs, including the advanced typographic forms, such as different sets of figures, small caps, swashes, historical forms, etc. The font also enables full use of the OpenType features. It fully supports the languages listed in the language list. Archive Garamond Std A Standard version of the typeface is meant to be used for the basic typographic work. It typically contains the most common glyphs. The standard figures are proportional lining. Besides kerning this version does not contain any advanced OpenType features. A Standard file type fully supports the languages listed in the Language list. Archive Garamond Exp An Expert version contains glyphs that are supposed to be used in advanced typographic works. This type of file contains uppercase and small cap glyphs with the proportional oldstyle figures as the default set. Besides kerning this version does not contain any advanced OpenType features (all OTF features have to be replaced manually). An Expert file type fully supports the languages listed in the Language list.

Hi there, thanks for looking at my first typeface. It began as one of my original sketches back in 2019 as a freelance graphic designer trying to create unique letterforms that I could use for posters or websites with other possible use cases in mind for commercial use. The sketches were then passed on to and worked on with Vladimir Tsagolov who has more experience in creating professional typefaces, the experience for me was invaluable, and I have many more typefaces I'm now working on. Shiny Ink Display is a collection of hand drawn fonts based on the flow of reflective viscous ink with 7 styles, some styles can be interchangeable and used on top of each other. For example, Shiny Ink Display Plain, can be used with Shiny Ink Display Plain Lined to create shadows underneath it, at angles not available with the Shadow styles you'll see in the font collection. Shiny Ink Display has various use cases, maybe even infinite, but more specifically for posters or websites with large text, though it bodes quite well at smaller sizes, and is visually appealing to its viewers as long as it's at a legible font size. When it comes to font pairing, Shiny Ink Display works especially well with Monospace and sans-serif fonts. You can check the poster examples on this page to help you imagine what you could do with the font styles. I also had in mind manufactured products, but I could leave that to you to create your ideas with the available font styles. Quirky and irregular FS Split is no ordinary typeface. Its irregular proportions make it unique, with round letters appearing wide, and straight letters narrow. Other quirks include its eclectic crossbars – the uppercase ‘A’ has an unusually low bar, while the bar on ‘G’ is particularly long. The uppercase has many interesting features in fact, including large counters, closed terminals on certain letters like ‘J’, and a cap-height that lines up with ascenders. The lowercase also holds surprises – the dots on ‘i’ and ‘j’ are unusually large, and some characters, such as ‘g’, feature double-storey counters. An extreme but stylish italic The italic versions of FS Split Sans and Serif are particularly striking. While similar in style to their upright, Roman versions, they take on a larger-than-usual 18-degree angle, making the forward-slant more dramatic. Although the main purpose of any italic is to help words and phrases stand out, this unique execution helps to make the italic variants of FS Split stylish fonts in their own right – they would work brilliantly on magazine covers, in titles and headlines, pull quotes, and even used commercially in logos and corporate branding. Serif and sans: a split personality FS Split Sans and Serif have their differences but also their similarities, contrasting and complementing each other perfectly. This ‘love hate’ relationship inspired the name of the typeface family, and means the two variants provide a versatile, typographic palette for use in graphics and branding. While its proportions are similar to the sans, the serif has a bigger contrast between its weights of bold, regular and light, bracketed serifs, and different styles of terminals, some being straight and others ball-shaped. FS Split Sans has more subtlety and simplicity, with a smaller weight contrast, less flamboyant terminals, and more consistent counter sizes. The two variants are distinct yet alike, so can be used successfully either in isolation or together.

Let me introduce URLOP, a wide type family suitable for your fancy posters, headlines, covers, illustrations, websites, initials, blackmails, chronicles, signboards, poems and many others. Twelve basic styles, which make the overall construction, give a wide range of opportunities. All of them, being able to mix with each other, vary from a thin INSIDE, through a medium FILL, to a double-stem PLUS styles. URLOP is an all-caps display collection consisting of three sub-families of fonts, divided by the usage they are designed for. Rufina was as tall and thin as a reed. Elegant but with that distance that well-defined forms seem to impose. Her voice, however, was sweeter, closer, and when she spoke her name, like a slow whisper, one felt like what she had come to say could be read in her image. Rufina's story can only be told through a detour because her origin does not coincide with her birth. Rufina was born on a Sunday afternoon while her father was drawing black letters on a white background, and her mother was trying to join those same letters to form words that could tell a story. But her origin goes much further back, and that is why she is pierced by a story that precedes her, even though it is not her own. Maybe her origin can be traced back to that autumn night in which that tall man with that distant demeanor ran into that woman with that sweet smile and elegant aspect. He looked at her in such a way that he was trapped by that gaze, even though they found no words to say to each other, and they stayed in silence. Somehow, some words leaked into that gaze because since that moment they were never apart again. Later, after they started talking, projects started coming up and then coexistence and arguments, routines and mismatches. But in that chaos of crossed words in their life together, something was stable through the silence of the gazes. In those gazes, the silent words sustained that indescribable love that they didn't even try to understand. And in one of those silences, Rufina appeared, when that man told that woman that he needed a text to try out his new font, and she saw him look at her with that same fascination of the first time, and she started to write something with those forms that he was giving her as a gift.
