Clavo was picked for the EXHIBITION CALL FOR TYPE - NEW TYPEFACES and is presented in the Gutenberg Museum in Mainz, Germany. Clavo is a multipurpose font family. Its warmth comes from subtle details, classical proportions and traditional forms, while harmonious structure prevents distraction while reading. This makes Clavo a universal typeface. In all sizes, from caption to display. The family consists of ten weights. They were not created in a linear way. The steps between the weights were adjusted carefully to avoid a mechanical graduation, in favor of optical harmony. Clavo covers all latin languages. It contains a wide set of numerals, small capitals, fractions and other OpenType goodies. And of course every weight comes with matching italics.

In researching historic decorative material offered by Lanston Monotype as well as other metal foundries such as Barnhart Brothers and Spindler, there were occasionally ornaments that defied description. Perhaps it was a Victorian sense of humor or someone really thought these were a good idea or perhaps popular taste has just changed so much over the last hundred years, or our forbearers were completely insane. In any case, LTC is somewhat proud to present a collection of the most bizarre, disturbing and baffling printers ornaments we could find. Along with mutant fowl-children and frolicsome amphibians, there are also Masonic and other secret fraternal symbols that may not be creepy to everyone, but just enough to be moderately disturbing.

Carrara is a highly readable text face with a loose reference to classical transitional types. Carrara was designed 2016. The word "manchette" is a french word, that means headline. It was used mainly by the Egyptian calligraphers and designers. But over time, the font turned into an independent work. Moreover, the font began to live its own life and constantly demanded attention. Fellbaum Grotesk is a condensed typeface with both grotesque and cursive/humanist attributes. Zeta was developed by Roy Cole, the British typographer and book designer. It is his second typeface family, completed in 2006, and comprises six fonts. As with his other typeface families - Lina, Colophon and Coleface - Zeta is a sans-serif typeface, particularly notable for its fluidity and strong legibility. Whilst the proportions of Zeta are derived from classical models, the letter forms themselves are totally modern in concept. For example, when used for blocks of text little line spacing is needed to achieve good readability. Novecento Slab Rough adds a letterpress / analog effect to its Slab Serif parent. Each letter has a different pattern and gives you a truly realistic effect. Even accented variants of any base character are all different. This font has also a built-in feature that automatically displays a texture variant for the 2nd occurrence of a letter or a number when they appear close one to each other. For instance: AA OO TT ÜÜ. This script font was inspired from a lot of manuscripts, notes and drafts, written by the famous American poet Walt Whitman.
