Arial was designed for Monotype in 1982 by Robin Nicholas and Patricia Saunders. The overall treatment of curves is softer and fuller than in most industrial style sans serif faces. Panorama KG is a black display font. The starting idea was to design letters that stand on the horizon. For that reason, the descenders are extremely short, and the elements of the letters lying on the base line are cutten, the horizontal strokes are lowered ... These characteristics should reduce the spacing and emphasize the compactness of densely composed titles and shorter text forms. Panorama KG was designed specifically for headlines, logotypes, branding, and similar applications... Due to the characteristics that are in function only in the bold version, it did not make sense to make more styles or family, but Panorama KG can be combined with many other serif and sans serif typefaces.

Fortuita is a versatile sans fit for text or display. The name carries some of its history as it was born from logo sketches that fortuitously grew into a type family over eight years. It comes with a tall x-height, rendering it readable at smaller sizes. It has sixteen weights, eight regular ones, and their italics, each with small caps, something you may not see very often with sans serifs. It counts with old-style numbers that can switch to its lining, small caps, or tabular versions through open-type features. The family carries a distinct personality in its design that will lend itself to its subject, all the while without becoming distracting or detracting from it.

Gross Kunst is a humanist sans-serif with an open aperture, sharp outlines, and eye-catching details that make this full of character typeface very recognizable. This modernized rustic Baroque Roman face paraphrases freely its model from the first half of the 18th century. Journal type family is a low-contrast text face of the Ionic-Legibility group. It was designed at the Polygraphmash Type Design Bureau in 3 styles in 1951–53 by Lev Malanov and Elena Tsaregorodtseva. The fonts were based on Cyrillic version of Excelsior that was developed in 1936 in Moscow by professor Michael Shchelkunov, Nikolay Kudryashev et al., that in its turn was based on Excelcior by Chauncey H. Griffith, 1931, Mergenthaler Linotype. Digital version was developed in ParaGraph (ParaType) in 1991. In 2012–13 designer Natalia Vasilyeva made some corrections in original digital data, extended character set and add bold italic style. The family was rereleased in ParaType in 2013.

Wilderness X is a font name that has a very wide wilderness concept. This font has a very large variety of characters, including isolated characters with strong definition and small text. This typeface design was influenced by the British Rail corporate type introduced in an old lettering instruction book published in Japan. Of course, the only clue to this typeface is the lettering instruction book at hand. I started with the Bold design first. Then I designed Light, Regular, and Black in that order. Goodchild Pro is a pragmatic text face, equipped for sophisticated academic typography. The face has a large x-height, as there is little point in adding to the stock of rangy “book” Jensons. Despite this departure from the archetype, in other respects Goodchild is true to the original letter forms in its tight fit, modulation of stroke contrast, and manipulation of x-height and serif size. Jenson’s tiny tittles and diamond-shaped periods have, however, been relinquished. The finish is not the antiquing that one often finds in Renaissance revivals.

The Ctoxina family is growing. Due to the success the author decided to add an outline version of the font. The typeface is now available in 6 different styles: light, light italic, regular, italic, bold and bold italic. The Atoxina family is designed especially for the burgeoning market of starships and other space cruisers. The fonts are ideal for internal and external use (including zero-g and occasional bursts of cosmic rays), and with their simplified forms are expected to survive well in non-linear galaxies. Font designed from work by an anonymous printer in Lyon (France) to print the French popular novel Les Grandes et inestimables Chroniques du grand et enorme geant Gargantua [...] in 1532. The original font has a relatively small number of characters. This font include a “long s”, as typicaly medieval, but also a few ligatures . A render sheet, enclosed with files help to identify them and accented or special others characters on keyboard. It can be used as web-site titles, posters and fliers, editing ancient texts, menus or greeting cards as a very decorative font... Although this font remains clear and easy to read from 8 or 9 points on screen, it is clearly designed for print works.

Gothiks is a powerfull 6-weight display sanserif influenced by Texturas. The rithm and verticality of Texturas can be easily identified on the letters with diagonal strokes like A N M K k V v W w X x Y y Z z: here they are all vertical. This kind of morphology was chosen because it accepts condensation in a very natural way, giving to this compact sanserif a very unique personality. The intermediate weights can be used for short texts while extreme weights are excellent for big sizes. It has an extensive character set — with extensive language support — and many OpenType features like fractions, small capitals and different figure sets. Default figures align with lowercase.

In designing an advertising poster to show off the unconventional Safefont typeface, Steve drew what appeared as relatively traditional letterforms for the expository text. When these characters were as well received as the typeface which was the subject of the poster, Steve decided to expand them into a full-fledged graffiti style typeface of their own. While exploring where this new design might lead, Steve worked to elaborate the poster segment which had inspired it. He soon found himself staring at a drawing of a weapons-wielding Bonnie and Clyde. The desperate duo resonated with the graphic elements of the drawn letters; thus leading to the effortless fleshing out of the design, and to its name, Big Clyde.

Cantilever is a variable, 20 style display typeface designed by Stew Deane. The idea came from using variable type mechanics to create a typeface that became more than type — it's designed to be impactful, fill space and turn text into something graphic and visual. The name of the font Titla emphasizes it heading and display functionality. At the same time low contrast, narrow proportions, wide variety of weights and clear glyph constructions make it possible to use it for long texts as well. Combination of modern serifs with flexing stems (see n, p,…) brings to the font fresh, informal and noticeable appearance. The character set includes alternative variations and specific 'vertical ligatures' for paired letters that are built with the help of diacritical forms of letters placed above basic ones. Zeta was developed by Roy Cole, the British typographer and book designer. It is his second typeface family, completed in 2006, and comprises six fonts. As with his other typeface families - Lina, Colophon and Coleface - Zeta is a sans-serif typeface, particularly notable for its fluidity and strong legibility. Whilst the proportions of Zeta are derived from classical models, the letter forms themselves are totally modern in concept. For example, when used for blocks of text little line spacing is needed to achieve good readability. Modérnica is a sans serif type including roman & oblique styles in 9 weights. Originally published in 2014, then in 2020 we released version 2.0, in which we expanded the language coverage and character set, adding a new Fat weight, tabular figures, smart fractions & arrows. We’ve improved the OpenType features adding new Stylistic Sets. Besides this, we have retuned the letters spacing in the whole family. Seeking for the best performance, we added a bit of spacing between letters in the text versions (middle weights from Book to Bold), while as for the display variants (extreme weights from Thin to Fat) we made them gain space in the light versions and loose it in the blacks.

From the depths of an antique civilization is born "Nahual" inspired by my ancestral Prehispanic Culture, with traits that allows it to mimetize itself, hours of painstaking dirty work with the only goal to show all it knows we want to see, to finally give the Jaguar "Serifclaw" attack. This is a display fontface, it comes in two types, "Claw" basically the text font, and "Copete" that are the construction pieces for every single glyph of the entire font, this last also has the negative spaces of some glyphs (a, e, o, A, B, O, for example) I include them but I prefer the font without them. The design of the Jeunesse font family derives from a study of primers which the designer undertook earlier in his career. Jeunesse was designed with the intention of combining excellent legibility and character recognition with the ability to create compact, distinctive words and lines while maintaining basic flourishless letterforms. The sans serif style is pre-dominant in this design, but serifs or rather parts have been added where necessary, mostly at the top left hand parts of the characters, to aid readability. Use Jeunesse as a text and display face. There are also fully sans serif and slab serif versions available which can be used on their own or mixed with each other and the parent fonts.
