This font was inspired by one of a standard French manual styles in use from the beginning of 1900s to the end of World War II, when people were writing most often with pen holders and metal nibs. This typeface is easily legible as it was used for the lithographic printing of university textbooks. All lower cases from a to z and numerals from 0 to 9 are doubled by a slightly different one to allow a varying manual aspect in texts. We have added a lot of diacritic characters, covering West (including Celtic) and North European, Icelandic, Baltic, Eastern European and Turkish language. A few special glyphs allows to make final loops or underlining.

This font was inspired by the “Cancellaresca moderna ” type, which was calligraphed by Francesco Periccioli (published in 1610 in Siena, Italy). It was entirely handwritten by the designer for each circumstance, using quill pen and medieval ink on a rough paper, with added characters as accented ones and a lot of ligatures with respect for the original design. This font includes “long s” and also a lot of ligatures as “ff”, “ffi” “fij” “pp”... It can be used for web-site titles, posters and flier designs, editing ancient texts or greeting cards, or as a very decorative and elegant font. This font retains its qualities and beauty over a wide range of sizes.

Fincastle Sans JNL is an all-caps titling font in both regular and oblique versions. It's clean, legible monoline design complements any layout from ad copy to personal stationery.

Good Sport JNL has nothing to do with any of the major sports activities such as baseball, football, basketball or soccer. Instead, the typeface gets its name from the sport of camping, as the lettering was spotted on an image of an old ad for the Colonial Forest-Master boy’s pocket knife. Good Sport JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

This revival of Harry is based on the original design by Marty Goldstein (and C.B. Smith). Goldstein, born in Chicago in 1939, was the co-founder of the groundbreaking Creative Black Book. He graduated from the Pratt Institute in 1960. Harry, first published by VGC in 1966, was named for his father. ITF has added four new weights to the original six.

Inspired by early cool cartoon fonts, early rock and hippie posters, I created the casual 'DT Stoner Toon' font. Then by adding strategic dots to add a little more quirkiness to the mix, I came up with this organic 'DT Sticky Stones' font. Please use with contextual ligatures turned on when possible. These letters like to adapt to their neighbours.

Whenever I went to use Bodoni I could never quite find a version I was happy with, so I designed my own incorporating, hopefully, the best of all the others. I decided to make a slight curve on the uprights, rather like Optima, because I thought this added touch of elegance which many of the others lacked....hence the name.

I took Arquà’s curvy lines from some details in art nuveau posters from late 1800 / early ‘900, then I added to the mix a little bit of elegance with some weird contrast (look at the S). One hour in the hoven and a modern looking display font came out in 2 weights: Goodboy and the doppelganger Badboy perfect to mix up.

Here’s a warm, casual text font based on an early twentieth century work by lettering artist Elizabeth Colwell, released by American Type Founders in 1923. For this update, all four fonts have been completely redrawn, and many new characters have been added. Both versions of this font contain the complete Latin A Extended character set, as well as extended ligatures and fractions.

Designed by Jure Stojan, JY Saj is a typeface family that successfully balances the artistic and the conventional. With 10 weights (UltraThin to ExtraBold, with italic complements), it works at a variety of sizes, in print and on screen. There are both oldstyle and lining figures, the rupee symbol is supported, and roughly 3,500 kerning pairs were added per font.

Eurydome is one of Jupiter's many moons, and was named after Eurydome, the mother of the Graces in Greek mythology. Arcadian was first produced in wood type around 1870 by William H. Page & Company. It is a semi-ornamented face based on a French Clarendon, with dots added to the median and the tops and bottoms of the letters. It has a distinctly “Old West” feel, and was likely used to add a little pizzazz to advertising and broadsides of the time.

Franklin Gothic EF is a font family from the Elsner+Flake Library. It had its debut in 2000. In 2016 it was renovated and an additional weight "Italic“ was added.

Once again we have added a lowercase to a caps-only type from late Victorian times. We made quite a few changes from the original to make words flow better.

Pomerans is a redo of an old font of mine called Suco De Laranja. Since the original font had a citrusy name, I decided to name this reincarnation Pomerans, which means ‘Seville Orange’ in Dutch. I doubt that there are many Dutch people who actually know what a pomerans is! Pomerans is a handmade, all caps font. I kept the look and feel of the original font, but I cleaned up the glyphs, added new glyphs and added additional language support (including Vietnamese and Sami).

The February 19, 1923 issue of The Film Daily contained an ad for Mack Sennett's new Ben Turpin comedy entitled "The Shriek of Araby". No doubt this was a spoof of the popular Rudolph Valentino film "The Sheik". The ad tries to emulate Mideastern or Arabic typography via a standard Western alphabet. It somewhat captures the flavor, but its free-form hand lettering comes off as more of a novelty-type style. This is now available digitally as Desert Sands JNL in both regular and oblique versions.

An ad in the April 19, 1919 edition of Motion Picture News for the (now lost) silent drama "Josselyn's Wife" featured some wonderfully stylized Art Nouveau hand lettering. Primarily a condensed character set with rounded serifs, there are a number of letters that take liberties in both width and character shape. Adding to this, [mostly vertical] parallel lines are cut through the characters to create a "striped' type of "double engraved' effect. This family was inspired from a lot of 1848-1850 French engraved documents reproducing handwritten texts talking about the Paris' insurrection days in June 1848 (described by Victor Hugo in Les misérables) . It seems that all were first written using quill pens, as the strokes are too much heavy and bold for metal pens and even though the engraver work is very fine. We have added only a few characters, most of them were present in the originals. The TTF and OTF versions are enriched with more than 50 ligatures or alternate characters.

Limoen means 'lemon' in Dutch. Why did I call this font Limoen? Well, I guess I ran out of meaningful names, so I had to work with whatever popped in my head - which happened to be Limoen. Don't ask… Limoen is a very cute, very threedee-ish typeface. It works great in poster ads and as a display font. It comes with upper and lower case letters and a whole bunch of diacritics. Enjoy!
