Something about the swoopy loops in the uppercase characters of this typeface, originally called "Ronde", reminds one of the signature 'do of a certain real-estate-mogul-turned-TV-celebrity, and so this font was named. Delightfully different, this face can be playful or formal, as suits the the occasion. To complete its nineteenth-century creds, the font includes classic bishops fingers at the ASCII tilde and ASCII circumflex positions. Both versions of the font include 1252 Latin, 1250 CE (with localization for Romanian and Moldovan).

Here's a flashback to the sixties, which originally went by the rather unimaginative name of Triline. It's available in two versions: regular and swash caps. In the swash version, the uppercase Q is a "Qu" ligature; a plain Q is located in the ASCII circumflex position (SHIFT+6 on PC or Mac). Named for the heroine of a medieval romance. The Postscript and Truetype versions contain a complete Latin language character set (Unicode 1252); in addition, the Opentype version supports Unicode 1250 (Central European) languages as well.

This curly, swirly antique offering is based on a Victorian-era typeface called "Fillet". Inspired by an old matchbook which read: "Chop Suey: Finest Chinese and American Cooking". There are times when a typeface is used so consistently that it becomes somewhat synonymous with the subject it's used in. The opening and end titles for the ABC-TV series "Naked City" (1958-1963) were set in a bold version of a popular font emulating the look of calligraphic hand lettering. Arcaro JNL is a somewhat lighter and slightly modified version of this typeface and is offered in both regular and oblique versions. The name Arcaro comes from one of the regular characters in this superbly-written police drama, Detective Frank Arcaro.

Aircrew is a neutral, humanist sans-serif family optimized for signage applications in display sizes. Its large x-height enhances readability and its letterforms help distinguish characters from each other, increasing legibility. Aircrew has vertical terminals, low contrast, and short ascenders and descenders. The weight variations between uppercase and lowercase characters provide the perfect balance and its slightly condensed proportions allow more words to fit in less space. There are two different versions of Aircrew, positive and negative. This avoids optical effects that cause uneven thickness and unsteady readability in either light or dark backgrounds.

The initial characters in China Market were created in 1996 for a logo featuring the Temple of Heaven in Beijing where emperors from the Ming and Qing dynasties worshiped heaven and prayed for abundant harvests. The font was completed in 2010. It is composed of a regularly positioned curved and straight components as if part of a decorative grillwork or other architectural detail. While its influences and origins are clear, its appearance is relies more upon the geometry of its basic elements and the modular structure than a specific stylistic idiom.

Here’s a set of arrow shaped callouts in two varieties within one font. The black-on-white letters are on the upper case keys, and the white-on-black characters are on the lower case keys. The numerals 1 thru 10 in black-on-white are in the standard key positions, while the white-on-black numbers are on the same keys when engaging the “shift” key. The 'zero' key houses the number '10'. For a more dynamic look, the font is also available in an oblique version.

Thomas Oldfield’s typeface, Reaper, is reminiscent of inscribed Greek letterforms but he claims that its origin is much simpler than that. “I recall”, Tom says, “that I just began the design by making the uppercase ‘I’ and continued using it to make up the other characters.” The cap only typeface has alternate cap forms in the lowercase positions, including a vastly scaled downed O and Q that make for some unusual text settings. Contrary to what the name might have you believe, there’s a lot of life in this quirky typeface.

Letterpress type, crafted by H. Th. Wijdeveld, founding editor and chief designer of the legendary Dutch art and architecture magazine Wendingen, provided the inspiration for this typeface. The original design graced a 1925 issue examining the work of Frank Lloyd Wright, and Wijdeveld created his typeface by assembling bits of standard brass rules. This version features several of the meanders typical of Wijdeveld’s graphic design in the dagger, double dagger, ASCII tilde and ASCII circumflex positions. Both versions of the font include 1252 Latin, 1250 CE (with localization for Romanian and Moldovan).

The English roundhand has always occupied the central position in the group of faces appropriate to the social printing handled by engravers, and their contemporary imitators, thermographers. At the end of the nineteenth century when engraving was mechanised by the pantographic engraving machine, the traditional roundhands found their way onto pantographic pattern plates. Embassy is a traditional roundhand of vigorous contrast with straightforward capitals with ball terminals; it was transferred from such an engravers’ pattern plate to the Fotosetter at Intertype about 1955. Alphatype’s Yorktown is similar, but appears to have less contrast.

Big Jim Roberts was my dad. A dedicated family man who taught us about faith, values and love is missed by our family. Jim just about did it all. He was a military man, a police officer, a power company engineer and a photographer. This typeface (which is comprised of a bold lower-case alphabet) has a 70s retro feel. Jim might have like it. Shicken Zoop JNL is based on an old lettering stencil from the early 1950s. The A-Z and a-z keystrokes contain the bulk of the Hebrew alphabet. Additional letters are found on the exclamation point, quote and apostrophe keystrokes. Vowels are positioned on the period, comma, hyphen, colon and semicolon. Please note that this is not a normal Hebrew font; it is in effect a latin font with Hebrew letters appearing in place of latin letters. It will not allow you to copy and paste with other samples of Hebrew text.

The Handasi type family follows the guidelines of the Mutamathil Taqlidi type style. It has one glyph for every basic Arabic Unicode character or letter and one additional, final-position, glyph for each Arabic letter that is normally connected with other letters from both sides in traditional cursive Arabic strings. Handasi employs variable x-height values. Its design uses straight lines only but with variable distributed weight. Handasi fonts include all required Lam-Alif ligatures and use ligature substitutions and selected marks positioning but they do not use any other glyph substitutions or forming. Katlynne is unpredictable. Katlynne is erratic. Katlynne is beautiful. Katlynne is an alternating contrast, sans serif type family. Arbitrarily separating the characters into ‘rounder’ and ‘straighter’ letterforms to determine what contrast each glyph will take. Katlynne is inspired by the observations made while watching the inexperienced use of broad tip pens. I found how and when individuals rotated their pen gave a visually intrusive, if not also pleasantly conspicuous effect. Often, the pen would naturally rotate horizontally (vertical contrast) on the rounder letterforms, and vertically (reverse contrast) on the straighter ones. This is more or less the formula Katlynne adopts as the contrast changes throughout the styles. Katlynne’s severity of contrast varies from ‘Negative Three’ to ‘Positive Three’ in four weights. With a central style ‘Book’ being the sensible, low contrast font in the family. Within the family there are four weights with 7 contrast styles, with complimenting true italics. Giving a total of 56 fonts! Katlynne's array of options works for creating stylistic similitude within layouts, where conspicuous title faces are needed with a cohesive text face to compliment. Inspired by the streets of Brazil, Just Pixo is a display typeface that mimics pixação, Brazilian graffiti. In his book Pixação: São Paulo Signature, François Chastanet says, “This alphabet, with its vertical inscriptions axis, is to be directly classified in the king-size, monumental category; the systematic use of capitals, meticulously aligned and justified, their extreme verticality, are symptomatic of this architectural dimension”. Remember when you first saw the credits of a Woody Allen movie and thought, "I love that typeface!" Well, maybe that was just us. That typeface—Windsor (specifically Windsor Light Condensed)—is a classic. But it has problems. The letterforms are sometimes REALLY wonky. And the ampersand is a tragedy. HUNKSTER is heypentype journey to simplified a stencil fonts. Simplified means it must easy and fast to cut when creating stencil art. Hence, this typeface inspired a lot from stencil arts and fonts right from the beginning of its creations. When a lot of stencil fonts out there used to create political message and self-expression, Hunkster take it beyond that. This typefaces can be applied to anything, from motorsports, branding, logo or logotype, industrial design, products packaging, software, games, website headlines,etc. Whatever it will be used, the spirit of the stencil and street art remains. Include in this typeface family is plenty of ligatures because the nature of stencil and our design aims, easy-to-cut but still beautiful. Stapel is a contemporary closed sans serif with sci-fi looking forms and eloquent, thin stroke joints. The superfamily consists of three subfamilies of different width: Normal, Narrow and Condensed. Mikado is a friendly, casual type family designed by Hannes von Döhren. It is intended to be used everywhere where a pleasant feeling should be conveyed: Games, Food, Service or Advertising. Mikado has a positive, kind of "out-of-the-box-appearance" in big sizes, but because of its straight architecture the fonts are also very legible in smaller sizes and longer texts - in print or on screen.
