Tourist Gothic is a Lanston Monotype adaptation of Modern Condensed Gothic (a design from the late 1800s.) Rounded alternate caps were designed by Sol Hess in 1928. Gilmore Fahrenheit is a glyphic, sans serif typeface that was inspired from early designs by the renowned English typographer Eric Gill. It was designed in 1992 by A. Pat Hickson (P&P Hickson) and Steve Jackaman (ITF) exclusively for the Red Rooster Collection. It was designed with true small caps, has an italicized geometric look, and possesses legibility reminiscent of Swiss typefaces.

I designed the lowercase characters to match really well with each other and the uppercase, so it works well in title case. Plus it has a great set of looking numbers and loads of extras.

Spike was designed as a Latin type family, with the characteristic triangular serifs, but with more character and range of weights than the more common latin faces available. Designed as a display face, it could be used as a flavorful text face in special situations. The complete family consists of four fonts: light, regular, bold and an all-caps incised version.

ATF Headline Gothic cries out to be used in headlines, and that is exactly how it was used after it was first created by American Type Founders in 1936 with newspapers in mind. It would be hard to imagine a better typeface for a shocking, front-page headline in a scene from an old black-and-white movie. With its all-caps character set, and its big, bold, condensed design, ATF Headline Gothic is the epitome of its name. “Extra! Extra!” The style of ATF Headline Gothic recalls the bold, condensed gothic display faces of the 19th century, but with more refinement in its details than many large types of the time (typically wood type). Its most recognizable trait is the restrained, high-waisted M, with short diagonal strokes that end with their point well above the baseline; this avoids the sometimes cramped look of a bold condensed M with a deep “V” in the middle, common in many similar headline faces. The digital ATF Headline Gothic comes in a single weight, all caps, like its predecessor, but offers two styles: one crisply drawn, and a “Round” version with softer corners, to suggest a more “printed” feel, reminiscent of wood type. Of course, in either style it includes a full modern character set, including symbols such as the Euro, Ruble, and Rupee, that didn’t exist in 1936.

The purpose of this monospace font is to display braille in an original although rather steganographic way. Its glyphs are built from a flat hexagon which can be read as 3 rows of 2 vertices (i.e. regular braille glyph grid). The initial design is illustrated by glyphs 'ç' (no dot) and 'û' (6 dots) as shown by poster 5. Glyphs are connected to each other, thus 6 connections for each hexagon (2 on left/right and 4 on top/bottom). In the final design many diagonal segments of the hexagon were removed for esthetical reason. Text is displayed not as a honeycomb but as a lattice instead which mixes hexagons, squares and "irregular convex octagons" (mostly unclosed), the design favored squares over octagons. The whole slightly resembling a PCB. Text can be framed with 3 sets of Frame glyphs (as shown in Poster 4): Octagonal: { €, °, £, µ, §, ¥, ~, ¢ } which can be mixed with Rectangular High Rectangular Low: { è, é, ê, ï, î, à, â, ä } Rectangular High: { Â, ù, Ä, Ê, Ë, ô, õ, ë } which can be mixed with Octagonal NB: When using Frame glyphs, it is advised to show Pilcrow (¶) and Non Breaking Space, which are replaced by empty shapes (e.g. in Microsoft Word, use CTRL+8 or use [¶] button in the ribbon).

This is a must read!!! BulletNumbers come in very handy for all kinds of lists that don't exceed 100 categories. I have long since been using my own BulletNumbers in positive and negative and four styles, serif, sans, engravers and script, a fitting one for every occasion. Now I perfected them for all of you. Here is how to use them: (Important! Set letterspacing to '0', otherwise the two digit numbers will overlap!!!) The numbers 1-0 reside on the standard keys. Two digit numbers 01-99 can be composed out of left and right half circles by using (lowercase) 'abcdefghij' for the first digit (left half circle) and 'lmnopqrstu' for the second digit (right half circle). The critical pairs (all combinations with 1) can be found in various places. Type '!' for 10, '#' for 11, '$' 12, '%' for 13, '&' for 14, '(' for 15, ')' for 16, '*' for 17, '+' for 18, ',' for 19, '-' for 21, '.' for 31, '/' for 41, ':' for 51, ';' for 61, '?' for 81, '_' for 91. The two arrows are on the < and > keys. '100' can be found with shift+option+1. Last but not least, the capital letter bullets A-Z can be found on the shift+letter A-Z. For this purpose, majiscule diacritical letters are resolved within the letter height. However, when this is done, new forms are obtained by integrated diacritical marks with letters instead of directly merging them. The idea behind this approach is to preserve the typographic value of diacritical marks and emphasize the semantic value of diacritical letters. 68 letters have been redesigned in this way. And also Kalender have different meanings in Turkish: large, humble etc. I considered this name appropriate because it described the structure of this font well.
