To form a ligature, convert your word or word string into vectors. Activate the corner points of the straight lines (not the round ones) of a letter and drag them over the next or the previous letter. This way you can create any ligature of your own. Its inspiration comes from the height and strength of the wooden tall ships that sailed into port in their day.
