A Bitstream version of News Gothic that was created by Morris Fuller Benton for American Typefounders and first appeared in 1908. There is the standard American sanserif of the first two thirds of the twentieth century with narrow proportions and a large x-height. Despite, or perhaps because of, the font’s unconventional relationships in proportion and form, News Gothic has long been a popular typeface for almost any use. Cyrillic version developed for ParaType in 2005 by Dmitry Kirsanov. Greek extension designed by Dmitry Kirsanov in 2009.

About family “StenoPro” Short for stenography… The name of the font was taken from the method of high-speed writing (shorthand) with a special alphabet. In shorthand, the rule "write as you hear" applies, that is, spelling is not observed. Capitalization, accents, ghosts, and punctuation except the semicolon are removed. In narrow letters you have the advantage of more words in a limited space… This series is composed and includes dozen fonts with 633 glyphs each, with true italics, and supports of course: Latin, Greek & Cyrillic.

In 2014 I made a font called Whatnot. I think I made with with a roller ball pen, but I am not sure, as it was a long timer ago. I have always liked Whatnot font and I think it deserves a second lease on life, so I made a new (and improved) version of it, called Whatnot 22. Not Catch 22... It now comes with better kerning, multilingual support (including Vietnamese, Sami and Greek) and a cool set of contextual alternates that cycles as you type.

Monadic is a modern singular monospace display font. The typeface is made from groups of single basic triangular geometric units. Monadic is inspired by structured and organic geometry. The name is derived from the Ancient Greek μοναδικός (monadikós, “single”), from μονάς (monás, “a unit”); it is the adjective of monad, an elementary individual substance which reflects the order of the world and from which material properties are derived. Zona Black Slab is a geometric slab–serif display black typeface. It is the brother font of Zona Black which was inspired by posters from the late 1920’s. Despite being black it has a tall x–height, making it quite legible even at smaller sizes. This handwritten font was brought to our attention by one of our customers. Tom Bernard Anyz had offered his handwriting font at dafont.com, a free-font portal for private customers where Toms Handwritten is enjoying great popularity. We liked the design at first glance – it is so innocent and sketch-like, similar to a quick note or message. We reworked and completed Toms Handwritten for professional usage. Apart from the already available Latin character set for West and East, we also added Greek and Cyrillic.

Reflex update: Now in 18 styles and variable version. Reflex was designed as an alternative to many overused types found on the packaging of pop culture products. Taking its inspiration from Bauhaus design roots, even in its heavy weights it maintains a soft aesthetic that can transparently convey a message of newness and understanding, as well as clarity and evenness. The Reflex set comes with a wide range of linguistic support, at no extra charge, including characters for Central European, Cyrillic, Greek, Turkish and Baltic regions.

This is a geometric uncial font with a retro/art-deco feel. It comes in four weights, each in upright and oblique styles. It has Unicode coverage for Latin, Greek (modern diacritics only), and Cyrillic, plus the Euro and peace signs. This font began as part of a project to design a local currency. Sadly, the municipality canceled the endeavor before the design competition had started. I'm including one of the prototypes in the gallery section as an example of this font’s many uses.

paintbrushdd was created using a real paintbrush. It is available in 4 styles including almost 3000 characters (Latin, Greek, Cyrillic, Coptic, symbols, shapes, mathematical expressions and so on). The main focus is on authenticity: The font literally looks like someone just painted it onto your artwork with a paintbrush! Just to name some examples, it is recommended for headlines, posters, t-shirts, computer graphics, and for any other purpose that need less than about 1000 words (due to the complexity of the font and the brush details).

Schuss Sans CG Poster 1 upright OTF Font Latin extended, Cyrillic and Greek. Specially developed for headline poster display sizes. A Sans Black Headline-Font in addition to the Schuss superfamily. The heights are optimized for big sizes, different to the text fonts of the Superfamily Schuss. The character set is slightly different to the non poster styles too. No italic, no additional figures, no tabular figures, no small Caps. But with maximum manual kerning. Ligatures: fi, fl, ff, ffi, ffl. No special OpenType features.

HandXpression was created with a stylus, imitating the experience of writing on a whiteboard with a marker. Its 646 glyphs cover from the Western to a wide part of Eastern European (Latin) alphabets. It also has all Greek letters for Math usage: yes, HandXpression makes formulas, and they look great, especially with LaTeX/XeTeX systems. The font has true italics, as well as some useful OpenType features: fractions, capital spacing, scientific superiors/inferiors, old style numbers, as well as standard ligatures and localized forms.
