The cover of the 1939 sheet music for "I Wonder Who's Kissing Her Now" has the title set in an outline sans - or is in an inline? With almost equal space and line weights, it can be either! Outline Sans JNL in available digitally in both regular and oblique versions.

A set of original ornamental symbols was designed by Viktor Kharyk and licensed to ParaType in 2007. The name was inspired by the famous book “Champ Fleury” by Geoffroy Tory (1529) but the theme of blooming meadow was embodied much more literally. Each ornamental motive has a real prototype in flora. Mainly there are plants raising on Ukrainian wooded steppe. The Slatz Font Family is Vertical. It has a slender, consistent weight that is best used in limited, left to Right, space limitations as to maximize font height. Slatz font variations all have extremely clean edges and even the serif versions are crisply defined with a flat-pointed serif for an added unique character. The designed intent was for a tight kern, however evenly letterspacing these family members give a distinct personality and continues to command the negative space just as in tight kerned examples. The compatible relationship of these font family members, serif to sans serif, and regular to italic is seamless and the overall design coloring of words as sentences is well balanced and extremely legible. The Slatz Family fonts are matching members glyph to glyph yet there is a noticeable difference between the serif and sans serif members. The sans serif works in contemporary and vintage settings. The serif members work particularly well in vintage, period applications. The Bold and Drop versions of Slatz also fit the above descriptions and also work on their own.

Banco was the first typeface work of French designer Roger Excoffon and was released in 1952. The strong forms look as though they were rolled out of sheet metal and feature upright, tapering strokes. The slight slant, the varying heights of stroke ends, and the relationships between line and curve give Banco font its sense of liveliness and dynamism. Excoffon did not design a matching lower case alphabet for his capitals, but this was accomplished later by Phill Grimshaw, who also designed the light weight. He deliberately 'underdesigned' the lower case forms, producing a more reserved alphabet based on the design ideas of the original.

Okay, we admit it! Comicraft's latest offering -- wrenched heavy-handedly from the pages of CHARLEY LOVES ROBOTS – is definitely a little awkward, maybe even loose-limbed and goofy. Those (usually) awfully nice chaps in the Comicraft studio are perhaps best known for their dexterity, their lightness of touch and nimbleness of finger rather than the kind of bungling, graceless, clumsy work evident in their latest digital alphabet. So, yes, MALADROIT is probably the most inept, cack-handed, undiplomatic addition to our catalogue ever submitted by freewheelin' John Roshell (formerly GAUCHE-ell) but might just possibly be the perfectly wrong font choice for your more bungling, inept, incompetent and hamfisted characters.

»Supra« – designed by Gert Wiescher in 2012/13 – is a new sans typeface family of eight weights with matching italics. Supra is influenced by current and past sans typefaces, but has a completely new look. The pleasant flow and warm touch combined with great legibility makes Supra unique. The light and normal weights and the dominant x-height with its high ascenders make for easy reading of long copy. The heavy and x-light weights are great for elegant headlines. Et Cetera is a beautiful, hand-lettered script. It abounds in OpenType features such as terminal swashes and ligatures and is best used with OpenType savvy software with the “standard ligatures” and “contextual alternates” features turned ON. Et Cetera is comprehensive and vigorous. Most letters in the font are connected, but, as in typical handwriting fonts, not all are connected. Most characters have a consistent shape within the font, but not all. Some characters in Et Cetera are sensitive to their position in the text and change depending on the adjoining characters. This contributes to the casual and relaxed style of Et Cetera; not allowing the features of the font to get between the reader and the message. A set of slab serif framed capitals is displayed in the 1906 edition of the Keystone Type Foundry specimen book as “John Alden Initials”. Digitally redrawn as Keyden Drop Caps JNL, regular and reverse versions are available in one font file. Upper case keys contain the regular version, lower case keys have the reverse version. Linotype Mega is part of the Take Type Library, chosen from the entries of the Linotype-sponsored International Digital Type Design Contests of 1994 and 1997. The fun schrift of German designer Till F. Teenck is available in three weights whose names are word plays in themselves. Mega in (which we hope the font will be) contains relatively light, somewhat irregularly-drawn characters which look as though they were printed by hand and the characters are set rather far apart from each other. This weight is good for short and middle length texts in point sizes of 10 and larger. Mega normal is anything but. The characters are the outline forms of Mega in and their larger width reduces the distance between them. This weight is generally a headline font. Mega out is a very heavy weight and is the filled-in version of Mega normal. The characters flow into each other and look almost like silhouettes. The reduced legibility makes this font suitable exclusively for headlines in larger point sizes.

Millie was weighted by the conventions of broad nib calligraphy, inspired by the Milwaukee Tools logo, and finds herself best used in logos and titles.
