Nevison Casual was designed by T. Nevison in 1967 and is an informal, lively, modern handwriting. The Victoria Titling font is an elegant set of titling capitals based on a foundry typeface from Stephenson Blake. Raclette grills are an ingenious Swiss invention. This tabletop grill is used to cook raclette cheese, a unique sort of cheese produced by the happy cows of Valais. Swiss designer Michael Parson created a typeface in 2002 that speaks endearingly to his hearty homeland tradition - endearingly enough, he named it Raclette. Raclette most likely started out as a bold, condensed sans serif. But then, just as one pulls little trays off of a raclette grill, Parsons quickly removed many rectilinear bits from the edges of each letter. Text set in Raclette looks like an old brick wall, or perhaps like a raclette party for several hundred people, that ended an hour ago! Raclette is one of ten of Michael Parson's experiments in type design featured in the Take Type 5 collection from Linotype GmbH."

The Fornire family of typefaces grew out of a desire to provide a font that has a bold yet simple impression. Derived from a photograph Rian Hughes took in Hong Kong, the Roadkill family of typefaces is a literal interpretation of rough and worn road lettering. The original provided almost all of the key character shapes, with the others being designed to keep the unique hand painted feel intact. Most of the letters have alternate versions provided. This font works equally well at wider letterspacing settings. Roadkill Alternates provides curved versions of the 2 and the S, a G with higher crossbar, and less worn versions of several other characters. The heavy version packs even more gritty wallop in a non-condensed and blacker weight. Roadkill Heavy packs even more gritty wallop in a non-condensed and blacker weight. Use in conjuction with the original Roadkill and Roadkill Alternates. This font with the technical feel of movies and games, was featured in Iron Man Avengers, Halo 4 and Game Reaktor Magazine. Version 1.2 features Cyrillic, arrows and reorganized family (Monospaced in all variations) and a new weight.

This extensive 60-font type family was inspired by the best (and worst) of 1970s science fiction TV shows and movies. Noir et Blanc began as a proposed logo for a new Broadway production of Moulin Rouge and ended up as a challenge to find how bold a stroke weight could still be beautifully legible. Now that it is complete, we hope it will have the chance to become noir et blanc et rouge partout.

A type foundry example showcasing some letters from a narrow slab serif wood type design served as the inspiration for Wood Serif Poster JNL. This condensed typeface is available in both regular and oblique versions, and digitally recreates the kind of lettering found on flyers, broadsides and newspaper headlines of the mid-to-late 1800s.

ITC Stranger is the work of California designer Jill Bell, a slashing, almost menacing calligraphic typeface in a narrow, upright style. In small sizes, the strokes themselves draw more attention than the letterforms. In larger sizes, the effect is a little rougher and more diffuse, as the bristled ends of some strokes become apparent.

The basic type design for National Spirit JNL is known by many names, and has gained popularity since its use on the NRA posters of the Roosevelt era. This all-purpose font gets an extra boost of patriotism by the addition of stars. Its clean look typifies the Art Deco feel of 1930s America.

Picking up a concept of Fritz Richter, Circensis is the realization of an adorned diplay font which had not been hitherto available, neither as a hot-metal font nor digitally. It is a great and legible font for circus and variety ads and posters, as well as for films, cafés, ice-cream parlors etc.

Vivala bl has a high black ratio that supports a compact typographic style. It is particularly suitable for decorative typesetting, for example, for posters, logos, and book illustrations. Complementing the ornamental style, Black Letter has a narrow style that works well for smaller type sizes. And it is equipped with various contextual alternates and ligatures.

Printed Letters JNL is from stamped impressions made by a children's sign making set by the Superior Marking Equipment Company of Chicago - circa the 1940's. The set consisted of individually mounted rubber stamps - easy enough for happy kiddies to print signs, name plates or (unfortunately for their parents) on the walls... Limited character set.

The Irish monk Columbanus founded early monasteries across Western Europe starting in the Sixth Century, bringing literacy in his wake. As the Patron Saint of Motorcyclists, the adventurous Columbanus is both gallant and respected. Moderna is a sans serif family inspired in simplicity of Modernism. Its contruction neutral and clean has been especially designed for short texts, headlines, logos and branding. With sixteen variants includes unicase version, some alternate characters, arrows and labels.

Fonts without curved lines were quite popular in Victorian times. We drew this one back in the days of T-squares and triangles, and based it on a type that we felt could stand to be improved. (Arrogant, eh?)

Departe is a geometric monospace display font. The typeface is made from groups of single basic rectangular geometric units. Departe is inspired by structured and organic geometry. The name is derived from the Spanish departe, "de" (of) and "parte" (part). Departe is great for display work, logos, structures, architecture, technology, biology, sports, monograms, quotes, headings and posters.

Nika is a display face with a quirky personality. Born as part of an experiment in contrast within typeface development, Nika has a thin body with chunky serifs. She is simultaneously sleek and playful, legible and distinct. As part of a magazine repertoire, on neighborhood flyers, or a blog, Nika feels at home in various applications.

Good Love Song is a cursive font family. It is inspired by love, hearts, and USA’s script. It can be written in Carolinian, Sioux, O'odham, Southern Athabaskan, Hawaiian, Samoan, Dutch, Maltese, Aymara, Mapuche, Rapa Nui, and other Latin alphabet languages. This font family is cute and fun. It has many heart decorations. The strokes are drawn with a round cap tool, with no contrast. The form is upright. Parts H have capitals with High starts. Parts L have capitals with Low starts. Parts U are love line Unions. It can be used with the font Good Song.

Tramuntana Dingbats is a selection of different graphic elements (Box Terminals, Box Extensions and Arrows) designed to work as a complement of the main typeface Tramuntana Pro. Tramuntana Dingbats can also be used with other typefaces as a decorative graphic resource.

Banners, arrows with numbers, cartoon cuts, decorative elements and ad helpers make up the assortment of classic images found in Printers Choice JNL. Each were carefully re-drawn from vintage sources to offer a wide variety of topics and uses.

Here's our interpretation of the classic typeface Arrow, designed by Walter Diethelm for Visual Graphics Corporation in 1965. It's clean, crisp, understated and elegant. Both versions of the font contain the complete Unicode Latin 1252 and Central European 1250 character sets.
