Noctis was originally born as a single weight display typeface, designed by Luca Terzo who took inspiration by the unusual wedge serifs of Aldo Novarese's 1972 typeface for H. Berthold A.G., Primate. The design was developed by the Italian Type team into a full family of five weights from thin, each with its own true italic, and with a complementary set of decorative patterns. Located in the Valencian Community, Spain, Manises is very famous for its pottery. In the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, Manises was the most important production center for Spanish-Moresca ceramics, which was exported throughout Europe. At the beginning of the 16th century, Manises tiles were very commercially successful, especially of the heraldic type. Much appreciated by the Aragonese crown, Manises ceramics was also exported to France, Italy, and especially to Naples. As a big fan of Paterna and Manises ceramics, Naples influenced other Italian courts. Calixto III and Alejandro VI continuously commissioned Valencian pieces and tiles for the halls of the Vatican. The export also extended to Sicily, Venice, Turkey, Cyprus and even Flanders and the Baltic countries. The palaces of all the courts of Europe were enriched with this art. Many painters reproduced it in his paintings. It can be seen in the work of Hubert and Jan Van Eyck, and in the central panel of a triptych by Hugo Van der Goes (Uffizi Gallery, Florence). In this city there are also some frescoes by Domenico Ghirlandaio in which the Arabic-Valencian earthenware appears. Manises font is inspired by a text written on a 16th century tile, but adapting it to our times and giving it a very modern air. It is characterised by being able to combine uppercase and lowercase letters in a conventional manner, or use only capitals, or only lowercase letters, or, a random combination of both. It comes with an extra of many ligatures, stylistic alternates, and a set of very useful catchwords, to give more modernity to your text. This OpenType features may only be accessible via OpenType-aware applications, or the Character Map to view and copy any of the extra characters to paste into your favourite text editor/app. Manises looks lovely on wedding invitations, greeting cards, logos, posters, labels, t-shirt design, logos, children's material, in ink or water-colour based designs, fashion, magazines, food packaging and menus, book covers and whatever your imagination holds!

Mesquite is a narrow Tuscan-style typeface designed at Adobe in 1990. Like older Tuscans from the 19th Century, Mesquite has elaborate, creative serif treatments-although the serifs are so unique that it is difficult to call them serifs anymore, they are more like pointy finials. A convex-concave-convex ornamental feature appears on the middle of each vertical and diagonal stroke. Together with the serifs" at the tops and bottoms of each stroke, this feature creates a "tri-band" pattern over text set in Mesquite. Mesquite is not a text face. Aside from its narrowness and decorative qualities, Mesquite has no lowercase. The font's uppercase glyphs have been directly copied and placed in the lowercase range."

I've always loved drawing faeries and I love using them in my scrapbooking pages. So after hunting around for a unique decorative fairy font for my crafts I couldn't quite find what I wanted to use, so I decided to create a whimiscal set of fairy drawings and characters that would suffice. I was influenced in the drawing of the fairies by my love of the 3D poser graphics art,several awesome comics, Alphonse Mucha and several Masters of Art. Minnesota Plaid is the baddest plaid ever! Whenever I've stayed in Munich my friend Michael Bundscherer and I go on a typographical expedition. When we talk about that, we remember the bygone world of sign painter. On one of the facades of a furniture shop in Munich, you can discover the lettering of the name in golden letters. This one convinced us because of the simple elegance Art Deco. These letters on the facade are in any case the character set, which forms the basis of this document. The missing (especially the lowercase letters and the numbers) were modeled. The "OPEN" called version tries to replicate the 3-D effect. The font is particularly suitable for shorter texts and headlines.

This is not an historically accurate font but rather one intended capture the spirit of ancient Roman manual type. It was inspired by various patterns used in documents and books created by Latin scribes between the second and fourth centuries. They used either calamus and ink on papyrus, or a pointed metal stick on wax tablets. We have created the font for contemporary use; distinguishing between U and V, I and J, which had no meaning for ancient Latin scribes, and adding thorn, Oslash, Lslash, W, Y and common accented characters that did not exist at the time. A lot of titlings and contextual alternates complete the set. Available only in TTF and OTF format.

FA Komunikat is an experimental and geometrical typeface based on simple elements: a circle, it's parts and straight lines. The typeface communicate the spirit of future, dynamism and modernity. FA Komunikat design was based on the sketch of unique lettering from 1932 made by Władysław Strzemiński, Polish vanguard abstract painter, an artist and a typographer. Strzemiński claimed that modern economic letter forms should be standardized and based on lines and arches. He wrote that readability is a matter of habit and after a practice the new letter forms would be very well readable for everyone. In 2004 Artur Frankowski revived original design creating set of characters, widen up with numerals, punctuation marks and diactrics.

Train of thought is a decorative font based on vintage and retro posters of the 19th and 20th centuries. Contains all Latin and Cyrillic glyphs. Eisley started as an experiment with creating brushes in illustrator. I began by drawing each letter and tweaking until each one balanced next to one another. I painted over 50 paint brush strokes to give a variety of different looks to the final characters. Strategically crafted to look as real and as spontaneous as a sign painter might paint up (although possibly running a bit dry on paint giving the end result a vintage and grungy effect). SlipperyFishes alternates two letter sets to create an undulating line of text that reminds me of a slippery fish. Designed by Arthur Baker in 1994 for URW, Kigali is a wide-bodied display type with bold, uneven, pen-drawn strokes that taper dramatically downward. Although initially designed as a rational/geometric font, Triplex developed into one of Zuzana Licko's most intuitive typeface designs at the time. Its first extensive use was in Emigre magazine #14, a special issue devoted to Swiss designers published in 1990. Triplex was intended as a friendly substitute for Helvetica. Whomp takes its inspiration from the work of an American master in sign painting and alphabet manipulation: Alf Becker . In 1932, Becker began designing a series of alphabets to be published in Signs of the Times magazine at the rate of one alphabet per month. Nine years later, 100 of those alphabets were compiled in one book that became an enormous success among sign painters. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, many Alf Becker alphabets were digitized with blurbs that falsely credit an “Alf Becker typeface”. Alf Becker was not really a typeface kind of guy. He was more of a calligrapher and sign painter. His alphabets were either incomplete or full of variations on different letters, and didn't become typefaces until the digital era. This particular Becker alphabet was quite incomplete. In fact, it wasn't a showing of an alphabet, but words on a poster. Alejandro Paul took the challenge of drawing, digitizing, restructuring, and finally building a complete usable typeface from that partial alphabet. He then extended his pleasure by once again playing with the wonderful possibilities of OpenType. This typeface was designed as the house style by and for design studio Mysterian. It was drafted and completed during most of 2020. The intention of the design of the forms was to develop a unique signification in the mind, but one that could have potential relevant associations such as with sci-fi. The solution, brought along with a fascination with this rarely seen pattern in type, was to taper round forms. The name 'Multipolar' was inspired by the term used by game theorist Daniel Schmachtenberger, which is a kind of event that seemed relevant to the Covid-period in which the font was made. Alternate characters include: Two Ampersands Upper and Lowercase PI Upper and Lowercase Eszett Latin Characters

Although initially inspired by the neon sign in front of Canter’s Delicatessen in Los Angeles, the design of Deliscript Upright and Deliscript Slant soon took on a life of its own–and its own distinctive look. Like its sibling Metroscript, Deliscript has many features that expand its usability such as the the variable length tails which can be accessed in 6 different styles, and the never before seen crossbars which can be extended outward in either direction from the lower case “t”. Throw in the special “WordLogos”, tons of ligatures and foreign accented characters, and you have a recipe for typesetting that approaches the look of hand-lettering. Aloha! Veteran Sign Painter Pierre Tardif and Lettering Artist Charles Borges de Oliveria have teamed up to bring you these fun to use brush fonts. Aloha Script comes in two flavors: Aloha Script and Aloha Script Casual. Both fonts contain the same lowercase, alternates, and ligatures – the difference is in the capitals. By mixing both fonts you can create a variety of unique logos. Aloha Scripts Casual can be set in all caps for greater emphasis on captions. Both fonts contains over 100 alternate characters, as well as an assortment of ligatures, swashes and underlines. With over a year and a half in development, Aloha is bound to please. Hemicube is a geometric logotype font, created by Mans Greback in 2020. Its futuristic lettering follows a mathematical pattern while being minimalistic and clean, which makes in work perfectly in sci-fi or technology context graphics. It is a three-style typeface family; in addition to the regular Hemicube style, it also comes as a basic Type style as well as a monogram Logo style. In the Hemicube Logo font, write any three capital letters to make a cube monogram. Example: ABC Use underscore to create a logo with fewer letters.
