ITC New Winchester is a revival of a typeface that never really had a first release. The original Winchester was an experimental design created by the American type designer W.A. Dwiggins in 1944. Dwiggins was interested in improving the legibility of the English language by reducing the number of ascenders and descenders; to do this, he gave Winchester very short descenders and created uncial forms for a number of letters. The result was a distinctive text typeface that was occasionally used by Dwiggins and Dorothy Abbe in handset form. Fifty years later, Indiana type designer Jim Spiece has turned Dwiggins's experiment into a new family of digital text types. Spiece gave New Winchester a bold weight, as well as small caps (both roman and italic) and old style figures; he also created two forms of the lowercase f, one with and one without an overhang (in metal type, a kern), and a full set of f-ligatures.

Stylish, elegant, and alluring, Sekhmet got its name from the lion-headed war goddess of ancient Egypt. And the typeface does possess a kind of feline, forward-directed energy - a result of its calligraphic detailing combined with a very slight slope in the roman. Sekhmet is essentially a display face; still, it's as carefully crafted as any of the designer's text fonts and so also works well in reasonably large text blocks, especially at larger point sizes. Winnie the Hoop is a bold, friendly and round display family inspired by a certain well known teddy bear. The family consists of three styles; Roman, Italic and Script, which are designed to be combined together. You can use any of the three styles as your main style and use the others to create multilayered typography that all share the same aesthetic. Solaris is a sans serif or a grotesque as we still call it where I come from. (it is an old term which means strange compared with Roman which was the normal font) The face is an open sans, which means that the round signs take the air into the form, minuscule d is drawn kind of backwards like in Gill Sans, which sets off on minuskel a. Here is the Regular version, with a slightly difference between stems and hairlines.

Lewis F. Day, in his Alphabets Old and New, presented these letters as examples of rustic Roman lettering of the first through third centuries, AD. An uppercase-only typeface, most of the lowercase positions are occupied by letterform variants. It should be noted that the name does not refer to a savory dish made from a nocturnal American marsupial; it’s Latin for “I can dance”. Both versions of the font include 1252 Latin, 1250 CE (with localization for Romanian and Moldovan).

Arsis Regular Font was designed by Gerry Powell in 1937. It is a Serif (Antiqua) Modern Style font. Arsis Regular font attributes include roman serif, Didone, elegant, formal, modern style, feminine.

This display stencil typeface is extension from Gazeta font family, where the letterform cuts are more mechanical without loosing their own natural structure. Italic versions are not available, only roman characters.

Moving Van JNL is a classic sign painter's block Roman with angled [instead of rounded] corners and slab serifs. This style of lettering was most popular in the 1920s and 1930s.

Duesenberg was designed to be similar to turn of the century fonts used primarily in newspapers. It has roman characteristics, yet is clearly not, and really doesn't fall under any category.
