Alphonse Mucha is a decorative display font in the Art Nouveau style which originated over a century ago. The font is extrapolated from just nine capital letters in Mucha's 1913 concert poster for the cellist Zdeňka Černý. Letters and numerals are consistently top-heavy, imbuing text with a graceful uniformity and evenness of type color. A full repertoire of Latin Extended-A characters is contained within the font.

Seasons Greetings is intended to bring Christmas cheer. It has a very limited character set, with all the letters being lower-case. One set of letters is white on black Christmas balls, while the other is black on white Christmas balls. The lower-case letters can be layered on top of the upper-case letters to give bi-colored lettering. The letters on the Christmas ornaments are from the typeface Cuthbert.

A vintage photograph of the Man at the Wheel Saloon in San Pedro, CA [circa 1895] provided an excellent type design source with the unusual lettering on the bar’s sign. Basically a spurred serif design, the unusual characteristic of the type style is the ‘bumps’ or ‘dots’ on the tops of each letter. This has been redrawn digitally as Beer Joint JNL, and is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Circus Wagon is a revival of the old circus style font named Big Top in the Dan Solo catalog. This version has been freshened up with a new matching lowercase. Our original release of this font was named Buckhorn, this 2020 updated release changes the name and adds additional accented glyphs plus Opentype case sensitive forms. Swanville developed as part of a train font that eventually became LetterTrain. We have created this family as a complement to 1906 French News since the two type families were commonly in use in the same publications, including newspapers, popular books, calendars, almanacs and posters.
