This is my new, completely worked over and fine-tuned Bodoni Classic for Europe (no Greek and Cyrillic). I have added a set of elegant Swashes (B) and 2 alternating uppercase swirly Initials (C) as well as two lowercase end-letters (D). The fonts A and B have extensive kerning, which the initials (C) don't need, they are aligned to replace the standard capital letter. The lowercase end-letters (D) are aligned to replace the standard lowercase letters, so you might need to add a blank after the swirl. profonts Concerto and profonts Sonata are closely related to each other. In fact, the only difference between the two related fonts is in the upper case characters. Concerto's upper cases are more complex, swashier than those in Sonata. One is a perfect complement to the other, and that is why they are offered together at special rate. Both fonts contain about 370 glyphs covering the complete Latin set for Western and Eastern Europe.

Four years in the making Rodeo Roundup is a very ornate script font where the letters look like a flowing rope with connecting lowercase letters. Due to the high amount of detail in this and other FontMesa fonts some applications may have difficulty displaying the letters larger than 100 point size.

Florid Renaissance is digital revival of a classic and ornate historical alphabet. The font face is dressed in a repeating diamond-pattern faÁade, and the edges are adorned with grape leaves, flowing scrolls, and flourishes, evoking the apex of Italian Renaissance design. ALCHEMIA is a modern sans serif font with mystical motives. The font is created in classic proportions and decorated with celestial and boho decor. ALCHEMIA is represented by sans serif lowercase and ornate uppercase. The font is suitable for the design on the theme of astrology, mysticism, spirituality, witchcraft, magic, esotericism.

Syntax was developed by Hans Eduard Meier in 1968 and presented by the font foundry D. Stempel AG. Its figures are based on Old Face characters but have a distinctive, modern design. The inclination to the right lends the font a dynamic feel.

This began life as a European font that was copied in the United States by Bruce's Type Foundry in 1885. It was caps only and had a fine line "three-D" shadow. We scrapped the shadow, added a lower case, and voila!

The Devil's Poetry is a new blackletter typeface from Michael W. Moss. The lowercase letters feature a pleasing hexagonal visual cadence while the capital letters stand tall and modestly ornate. The Devil's Poetry is available in three styles and features a Unicode Latin Extended-A character set. "Sarcasm is The Devil's Poetry."

Abelarde is a classic medieval gothic style font which combines traditional blackletter style lower case characters with more ornate and decorative capital letters with some nice swash features. We've done some simpler fonts in the same general vein like Cymbeline, Aneirin and Perigord, but Abelarde takes the style to a higher level.

Black Lonthe is an exquisite blackletter font that exudes timeless elegance. With its bold and ornate strokes, it captures the essence of traditional calligraphy while adding a modern twist. The letterforms for this unusual display face were inspired by a 1930s ad for Tanguy Crepes, by an uncredited artist. Due to the ornate nature for this font, it has a limited character set, but does include all letters, numbers and punctuation for the Unicode 1252 Latin and 1250 Central European character sets.

HaruNami (“spring wave”) fuses Japanese ornamentation with the Roman alphabet. All the motifs in the typeface are based on traditional Japanese wave ornamentation. HaruNami has a unique stylistic system that ranges from Simple to Ornate. The Simple font is a purely functional sanserif that is ready to use as text type. The three other styles, Decorative, Embellished and Ornate, progressively apply the wave ornamentation to the capital letters. HaruNami Complete ships as a unified OpenType font, and as a set of individual fonts. If you're using an application that supports OpenType features, we recommend using the Unified font. The three decorated styles will be accessible as feature sets. Otherwise, you can install the individual fonts and use them in any application. (It is also all right to install the Unified and individual fonts simultaneously.)

Originally issued as Palm from the A. D. Farmer Foundry in New York, about 1887. This is a good early example of the transition from the ruffles and fluorishes of Victorian fonts to the more restrained decoration that came to be called Art Nouveau.

The talented designer of the well-known Formata typeface, Bernd Möllenstädt was born on February 22, 1943 in Germany. He has lived in Westfalia, Berlin and Munich, Germany, and now permanently resides in Munich. From his earliest years he was interested in typography, first studying as a typesetter (1961-64) and then a student of graphic design (1964-1967). In 1967 Möllenstädt joined the Berthold typefoundry and his career as one of the leading type personalities began. One year after joining Berthold, he became the head of the type design department. For 22 years he worked as the head of that department, under the leadership of Günter Gerhard Lange. Upon Lange’s retirement in 1990, Möllenstädt ascended to the type directorship of Berthold where he was responsible for type design and font mastering. Möllenstädt designed two typeface for the Berthold Exklusiv Collection, Formata (1988) and Signata (1994). Under license from Berthold, Adobe marketed Formata as part of the Adobe Type Library. Formata is now one of the most successful sans serifs in the world, used both in American and European magazines, as well as newsletters in the Far East (Gulf New Kuwait). Formata also was chosen as the corporate typeface of Postbank, Allianz, VW Skoda, Infratest Burke, etc. In addition to his work for Berthold, Möllenstädt has lectured at local Munich schools on typography and graphic design, and designed corporate type identities and diverse logos for major corporations, including Allianz, Commerzbank, Mauser Officer and Hoepfner. Möllenstädt continues his association with Berthold as a designer. He most recently completed small caps and fractions for Formata. He also has substantially contributed to Berthold's Euro symbol program (e.g. adding the Euro symbol design-specific to the most popular families). Möllenstädt currently is working on a new Berthold Exklusiv design.

Regina-Cursiv is a warm, bold, casual typeface. Its friendly, rounded curves remind me of the line from a gospel song by the Canton Spirituals, about "smoothin' up the roughway." Jointly released by the Bauer and Berthold foundries of Germany during the fin-de-siecle period, this typeface has some cultural flexibility. There are alternate versions of the uppercase ‘H’ and ‘I’ that can be chosen to reflect a humanist or blackletter tradition, whichever you prefer. Other alternates offer various stylistic choices. Regina Cursiv is a friendly, comfortable font. You will enjoy using it. Alternative letters: D, E, G, I, K, S, T, d, h, k, m, n and z. The numerals are old-style figures.
