Dynasty is an extensive and versatile family that exploration and modernisation of the typographic quirks associated with the 'American Gothic' type school (in much the same way as English Grotesque was an exploration of Gill/Johnston idea-space) and adds chamfered elements to dots and tails to emphasise and extend the early machine-made aesthetic. Elegantly clean and readable at headline and small text settings, where (as with all fonts in small sizes) the introduction of tracking will improve legibility.

Wonderhand is a new extensive family of scripts designed in seven widths and three weights. It also introduces a third design axis, the slant, presenting an upright 0° cut, a 20° cut and a 40° cut for each. Like written by different hands, each cut has a unique appearance and character. Wonderhand contains two sets of alternate characters and automatic features that imitate the natural flow of handwriting. Slik is a type family developed with packaging in mind. It started as one word in the boldest weight while working on an update of the Swedish liquorice brand »Läkerol« , a rejected proposal with the logotype in all upper case letters. It has very characteristic elements and is still simple and consistent in a way that is suitable in packaging design. The family consists of seven weights from Ultralight to Extrabold. It contains some alternative characters more suitable for text & numbers for pricing.

Summerisle was developed from a small sample of hand-lettered characters in one of the two theatrical posters for the cult movie The Wicker Man. The style combines elements of Celtic and Art Nouveau design with a bit of the feel of the late sixties paganistic theme of the movie. We've expanded it to a full character set while preserving the unique look. The name for the font comes from the name of Christopher Lee's pivotal character in the movie.

What was the inspiration for designing the font? Blackletter has an interesting history here in Germany. We need to find contemporary interpretations for this tradition. The font design of TG Yane is inspired by my service design for a coffee brand, taking the coffee logo as the design origin. Some words from the designer... The bold, playful element is everything in ITC Surfboard. West coast designer Teri Kahan was inspired by California's surfing lifestyle, and the letters of this alphabet dance along the writing line. The vitality of ITC Surfboard comes from the tension between its very free shapes and the precise edges and angles that create them. This all-capital font has deliberately tight spacing and works best in large sizes. Also included are fun, abstract surf/sail graphics.

American designer Frank Marciuliano created the Linotype Abstract display font in 1997. Abstract's letters are made up of collaged elements: a single letter can contain several different textures. Instead of an upper and lowercase, Linotype Abstract offers two different uppercase alphabets, each with different patterns. Linotype Grafilone is part of the Take Type Library, which features winners of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contest. In creating his font, Bo Berndal combined elements of the constructed and Art Deco styles. Slender and angular, Grafilone is mechanically exact and coolly resesrved. A distinguishing characteristic is the combination of angular and sloping strokes, which give the font a dynamic feel. Grafilone is particular good as a headline font and for initials when combined with constructed sans serif fonts.

Canovaro was inspired by the hand-lettered masthead of Queenslander, a weekly magazine published during the first half of XIX century. The condensed serif letterforms of the magazine title, with the warm, human touch gave the shapes of Quenta a lively personality and a literary charme.
