I could also stick to one font weight, like "Light," and differentiate the text using various sizes. Die Brücke was a group of German expressionists which formed in Dresden in 1905. Members of the group include Erich Heckel, Fritz Bleyl, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner and Karl Schmidt-Rottluff. Much of the group's work was influenced by primitivism and medieval woodblock printing. Die Bruecke font was based on a printed invitation for an art exhibition from 1906. Although the font is all caps, upper and lower case glyphs differ and can be interchanged. Of course Die Bruecke comes with extensive language support.

Barranco is a 3d layered fontfamily of 3 weights (thin, medium, black), plus shadows and one inline effect layer. It’s inspired by the caps neo-humanist typefaces of the 80’s with a mix of new trends such as the new layered typefaces and super heavy font families. As the Latin tag for one’s college or university, Alma Mater seemed to me to be an appropriate title for a font family reminiscent of the lettering commonly used on college sweaters and sports jerseys. Essentially Alma Mater is an extension of my Oscar Bravo font family, but the lively demand for Oscar Bravo Blank persuaded me to go the whole nine yards and and offer inline, outline and shadow variations on the theme. Elicit Script is a hybrid script family, that can be as casual or formal as the occasion demands. Created by Laura Worthington and Jim Wasco, the design is based on pointed pen Spencerian Script handwriting. “It’s like one of those German italics from the early 20th century, that have beautiful shapes that hold their own,” says Wasco. Elicit Script spans five weights, from Extra Light to Bold, and three styles – Formal, Normal and Casual. This makes it an incredibly versatile script design, easily paired with other typefaces and able to be dressed up or down, depending on what it’s used for. Numis was born out of a coin collecting hobby. A quick survey of coins from the late medieval to modern periods to today led to this unicase design. The new Linotype® Devanagari typeface is a traditional text face now available in five weights (from Light to Black) and suitable for a wide variety of print and digital uses. A compact design, Linotype Devanagari also provides economy of space where textual real estate is at a premium. In addition, its large character set enables the setting of Hindi, Marathi, Nepali and is suitable for Sanskrit passages. The design’s open counters ensure high levels of legibility at small sizes and at modest resolution. The history of Linotype Devanagari is quite extensive. Inspired by the late 19th and early 20th century Nirnaya Sagar designs, it was originally designed in 1977 by Mathew Carter for phototypesetting systems. It was then revised and expanded for digital typesetting by the Linotype letter-drawing studio headed by Georgie Surman under the art direction of Fiona Ross. This new, enhanced revival was designed by Lisa Timpi and Gunnar Vilhjálmsson with Fiona Ross as a consultant. This new Linotype Devanagari is part of a project to refresh the pivotal Linotype Bengali and Linotype Gujarati typefaces and make them available for the first time in the popular OpenType font format.

Kidela is an exuberant and eccentric serif typeface reminiscent of hand painted signage. Kidela features tight kerning and spacing, and some interesting effects can be achieved by adjusting the tracking. The typeface includes 64 discretionary ligatures to extend the natural hand painted look, alternates, oldstyle figures and small caps. Please see the sample brochure to see these ligatures in action. Kidela is an excellent choice when you need a fun and interesting serif.

Rasbern is a display serif typeface with high contrast and refreshing looks. Ranging from thin to black with italics, Rasbern offers many possibilities to be applied in many graphic or editorial projects. The lighter weights are suitable for short paragraph, and the heavier weights are perfect for headlines, perfectly suitable for display purpose such as branding, book covers, and web heading. Rasbern has extended latin character set that supports 200+ latin-based languages.

Kamryn is an updated overhaul of an earlier project. This version retains a distinct retro look with swashes and rounded serifs. This gives it a wholesome feel that will work well in children’s books, 80’s era apparel, or scrapbooking. European accents and extended punctuation were added along with improved kerning and alternates. Overlap may occur in certain uppercase/lowercase combinations. The 3D versions are equipped with several ligatures that correct this.

A freeform linking script that uses OpenType programming to replace beginning and ending characters with uniquely designed variants. Also includes ligatures and an extended t-bar carefully designed to not collide with ascenders.
