Georgia was originally designed in 1996 by Matthew Carter and hand-tuned for the screen by Tom Rickner. The Georgia family received a major update in 2011 by Monotype Imaging, The Font Bureau and Matthew Carter. Georgia is the serif companion to the sans serif screen font, Verdana. It was designed specifically to address the challenges of on-screen display with elegant yet sturdy and open forms. If you must have one serif face for reading on a computer, then you've found the best one right here. The original Georgia family included four fonts: regular, italic, bold and bold italic. The new and expanded Georgia Pro family contains 20 fonts in total. Known to many eastern artists as the California Poster Letter because it originated in the West, this old 1930s style has reappeared in digital form. Carl Holmes, in his wonderful book on old lettering styles, pays tribute to this uniquely American design. Faintly reminiscent of the lettering of Fred G. Cooper, California Poster Bold is at times wildly exaggerated and boisterous. Letters appear to be inflated and loopy. The design might aptly be described as a kind of rollicking Cooper Black (Oswald Bruce Cooper). An extensive range of alternates and figures has been provided for your convenience. California Poster Bold is now available in the OpenType Std format. Some new characters have been added to this OpenType version as stylistic alternates and historical forms. This font has been described as "one of the cutest fonts I've ever seen. I can imagine a beautiful, young 22-year-old fashion design student from Los Angeles, CA with this handwriting as she's writing in her journal." I have cleaned it up a bit, increased the size of all the dots slightly and then designed all the diacritics and expanded the character set. The lowercase "f" has a big overhang and the lowercase "j" goes really far to the left - I have programmed automatic (OpenType) Contextual Alternate versions that automatically substitute with shorter variants when letters collide. Right on the heels of the tremendous popularity wave that made Hollandse Mediaeval the most used Dutch typeface during the Great War years, Sjoerd H. de Roos was asked to design a 15 point type for De Zilverdistel, Jean François van Royen’s publishing company. So between 1914 and 1916, de Roos and van Royen collaborated on the typeface eventually known as Zilvertype, and which both parties viewed as an improved version of Hollandse Mediaeveal. Like Hollandse Mediaeval, Zilvertype was based on the Jenson model, but it is simpler, with more traditional metrics, lighter and more classic in color. This Pro digital version of Zilvertype comes expanded in all directions. It contains a roman, a bold and an italic. Each font contains over 685 glyphs, including small caps, eight different sets of figures, plenty of ligatures, some Dutch ornaments, and extended language support covering most Latin languages. Zilvertype Initials is also there to round out this distinctively Dutch text family and make it ideal for immersive text design.

Zahar type family is based on the lettering developed by the famous Ukrainian graphic artist Georgi Yakutovich and designed for Ivan Franko's book Zakhar Berkut. This family was inspired by a Type Battle over at Typophile: How would you design a font metrically compatible with Helvetica, but better than Arial? Working with preset letter widths was an interesting constraint, both a relief and a limitation at the same time. I have done all the 4 basic weights, and the skewed obliques (done to a slightly less steep 10 degrees angle as opposed to the originals 12) has been optically adjusted. The letters have been designed quite close to the german/swiss grotesk tradition, but by using super-elliptical rounds, rounded dots and slightly curved outer diagonals the end result is a friendly looking font family that still looks... familiar. IA Harold the Hunter is a daring good readable Wild West style font with spurs, inspired by old comic books about cowboys. The font contains a basic character set and some decorative alternates. In addition to basic Latin, there is also an extended Latin and basic Cyrillic.

In one of our yearly type hunts, we came across the ancestor of this font, much wider and more decorative, with fine outside shading. Condition was poor so we did the obvious, cutting out the excess decoration and condensing the face optically. It reeks of dancing girls and drunken sailors and other colorful attributes of Old San Francisco.

Geogrotesque is a semi modular with a subtle rounded finish typeface. All the characters are based in the same formal principle with its corresponding optical adjustments in order to adapt the system to an alphabet for texts. Although the type family has a geometric or “technological” construction, the rounded finish provides it a warm appearance, making the typefaces nicer and nearby.
