Aloja handwriting font was drawn by Ieva and Krisjanis and put together by Krisjanis Mezulis. Aloja font can be used for - Big titles, events, posters and invitations. Cassandra Plus is my revised version of Cassandra, it can now be used all over Europe except Greece and Russia. I changed the weights a bit to make them more distinct. The Font has two widths of letters, wide Capitals on the (shift) uppercase-keys and narrow ones on the (no shift) lowercase-keys. You can match them as you like, but you should avoid having the same letter in one word in two different widths. But if yoyu are really daring you can use one narrow S and a wide one, it might still look good. It will almost always look good! Cassandra is my “bow” to Adolphe Mouron Cassandre. Toscography is inspired by vernacular and naive hand-painted walls and signs from Brazil. It feels organic, spontaneous and fresh and it has a light texture on its characters that makes it feel like it is starting to decay.

Magneton is a brush script typeface that contains three weights and two slant angles. Three weights simulates the pressure of the brush pen; light is written with a gentle pressure and the bold one with more pressure. Two slant angles gives Magneton two natures; the more casual one and the more dynamic one. So with this script you have lots of options to choose from. This font was inspired on graffiti texts, sentences of street walls. The intention it's to give an style of old school words spreaded on some walls around the world. This can be cool for an design of a poster, headlines and so on.

Akagi started as a rough sketch while on a really long plane ride to Tokyo in 2007. I wanted to develop a sans that was a complete departure from my successful Aaux Pro (now Aaux Next) sans serif family. Whereas Aaux and its siblings are rather unforgiving and stark in their presentation, I wanted this new sans serif to "smile" at you when it's on the page. When the plane landed and I realized I did not sleep through the 15 hour trip, my brain shut off, the laptop closed and I hopped in the car to the hotel—forgetting the "new sans" folder on my desktop. Fast forward a few months and I found myself seeing a lot of crisp, rigid, robot-like sans serif typefaces everywhere... I enjoy these new crop of faces but wanted to see something "friendlier" and remembered my earlier sketch work. The groundwork was there screaming at me to complete and Akagi arose from the ashes. To be truly satisfied with it personally, a great deal of time was spent trying to create a harmony between line and curve in an attempt to show that you can be crisp, clean and legible and still keep some personality. The Light and Fat weights (regular and italic) are my favorites and I hope to see them as the workhorses of the typeface.

Based on scans of some 1906 newspaper headlines detailing the devastation of the San Francisco earthquake, Newsbreaker JNL is a modern take on vintage typography. With a few letterform characteristics somewhat reminiscent of DeVinne, this typeface was perfect in its day for expressing news headlines - and it holds up just as well today for titling or banner ad copy. Available in regular and oblique versions.

It's not a new idea, but it's always a fun one... a typeface comprised of 35mm film frames. Film Crew JNL is Jeff Levine's version, utilizing his Koehler Sans JNL as the lettering inside the frames. The lesser and greater keys have solid black frames for end caps or word spacing, and there's an alternate pair of frames with clear centers on the brace keys.

Rackham Italic is based on the hand lettered titles of Arthur Rackham from the book English Fairytales. The Rackham font is based on his more familiar title lettering style.

Smashed Typeface is a reversed-contrast, slab serif, display font. Was inspired by the old west days that we can often see in printing, circus posters and wanted notices in western movies, even tho the style was really used in many parts of the world during that period. This style is sometimes called as "circus letter" too. Was designed to have a modern look, using straighter lines and an extended style, can be used on various situations like posters, logos for restaurants, alternative business like an old washing station (as you can see on the next images), music bands etc. I believe that is a promising typography that can be used by various designers in a lot of diverse project. It counts with 226 multi language characters, one weight on version 1.0, on a next version I hope to take this project to another level, creating a variable typeface from condensed to really extended weights. It would complete this typography and eliminate the limits of use.

Frederic Goudy joined Lanston as art advisor in 1920. One of his first initiatives was to design a new version of Garamond based on original Garamond designs of 1540. Goudy intended his free-hand drawings to be cut exactly as he had drawn them and fought with the workmen at Lanston to keep them from “correcting” his work. This new type was called Garamont (an acceptable alternate spelling) to distinguish it from other Garamonds on the market. (The other Garamonds on the market at that time were later confirmed to be the work of Jean Jannon.) In 2001, Jim Rimmer digitized Garamont in two weights. The display weight is based on the actual metal outlines to compensate slightly for the ink gain that occurs with letterpress printing. The text weight is a touch heavier and more appropriate for general offset and digital text work. Digital Garamont is available to the public for the first time in 2005.

Albertus® Nova is a faithful digital revival of Berthold Wolpe’s earlier design of Albertus and is one of the five designs in The Wolpe Collection of typefaces. This new design enlarges the typeface set from its previous two weights into a robust set of five ranging from thin to black, all with extended language support including Cyrillic and Greek. Berthold Wolpe began working on Albertus in 1932, at the encouragement of Stanley Morison. Morison saw an example of Wolpe’s engraved lettering and liked it so much that he commissioned a typeface based on the design. Since then, the original Albertus typeface has been used on book covers, in branding, on signs and in video games.
