The uppercase of this typeface is based on 1930s lettering by French poster artist Charles Loupot, and the lowercase is based on 1910s lettering by German plakatmeister Ludwig Hohlwein. It may actually be one of the most iconic styles of the late 1960 Psychedelic era when Victorian revival was in full swing. This typeface was inspired by the popular typeface Machine but is not intended to be a copy of that font. It uses straight lines with circles converted to octagons. The Masheen family offers a variety of overlay possibilities to produced multicolored lettering. MasheenConvicted and MasheenFlag can be layered over MasheenBold to produce letters with two colors. The two overlay styles can be placed over MasheenCollege to produce bi or tricolored lettering. Examples are given in one of the font posters.

The inspiration source for MFC Billow Monogram is a beautiful letterset from the "Manuel de Broderies No. 179" by N. Alexandre & Cie. from the late 1800's. We've drawn out some flourishes and ornamental glyphs based on the original design in order to offer more versatility with this monogram. Experiment with the flourishes in different combinations. Hologram is a font inspired by a combination of the future and the past. The intention was to design a font that was most effective when applied to Largely Displayed text like Headings, rather than for smaller extended bodies of text. There are 3 distinctive styles offered in the Hologram font family. Each style contains over 350+ Glyphs per style with support for up to 26 Languages as well as specialised kerning & spacing. Display Sans: This style is the cleanest of the 3 fonts. There are no serifs attached to the ends of the strokes, although the stroke weight is varied from thick to thin depending on the letters. Display Serif: This style contains modern serifs at the ends of most character strokes that give more structure to the shapes. A majority of the serifs are horizontal in direction with few characters containing vertical serif details. Display Wedge: The most Bold of all is the Wedge Serif style offered.
