Play a while with Horsefeathers, and you'll find yourself feeling kind of a combination of giddy and up. a lively, animated font that draws attention in short bursts yet has remarkable balance in longer text blocks, even at smallish point sizes. And that can be said for all three styles: Regular, Bold, and the aptly-named Horsefeathers Buzzsaw.

Eyeballs was designed at Bitstream by designer David Robbins. Its beginnings can be found in Bitstream’s Old Dreadful No. 7, where Mr. Robbins first conceived the capital I. He was later asked by Bitstream to develop the entire character set. The result is a humorous meld of cartoon and typography. A word of caution: Watch how you use it!

Kino font was designed in 1930 by Martin Dovey for the Monotype Corporation. Heavy in weight with the letters clipped at the top and bottom, Kino is unique among display types. Display typefaces with triangular serifs are sometimes called Latins and Kino is referred to as a serifless Latin. Use Kino font sparingly in informal display situations."

This engaging headline face is based on a rather pudgy typeface named “Bullion Shadow”, which was originally released somewhere on the cusp between the hippie and disco eras, and was equally at home in both. Sometimes the way forward is simplicity. That goes for your personal life as well as designing. Sometimes what catches the eye is something simple. My Comforting Sounds font is a handmade sans serif font. It has a crunchy line, an organic look and legibility even at very small sizes. And in a charming way, it is quite simple!

Tracker is a geometric twin-line font reminiscent of space-age disco designs of the 60s and 70s, but entirely reexamined, rationalised, redesigned and updated for contemporary use. DF Mercat is a tribute to the famous marketplace situated at ‘La Rambla’ in Barcelona's historic centre. It is a picture font containing over 240 illustrations of fish, crustacean, clams, poultry, game, meat, sausages, herbs, vegetables, fruit, bread, butter, a variety of cheese, wines and spirits, small dishes, drinks (coffee, beer, soft drinks), ice cream, pastry, etc.

In the MGM musical "Broadway Melody of 1940", a new stage production has its gala opening at the fictitious Lafayette Theater on the Great White Way. The front of the theater is resplendent with classic neon signage, and the theater's name is in an interesting Art Deco design. Musical Number JNL recreates this lettering in digital form.

Plage draws inspiration from the fluid and organic typography of the '60s and '70s. Ideal for branding, poster and packaging designs. Mechanized JNL is a solid interpretation of Jeff Levine's stencil font Trencher JNL. Both fonts were based on a photo of hand-cut stencils found on a 1940's trenching machine in the collection of the Marine Corps Mechanized Museum at Camp Pendleton, California. Thanks to restoration volunteer Brian Platzer for providing the images of those stencils.

Shearman STD has a simple design, based on industrial fonts, in particular at the typewriters fonts. It's a geometric font with curves elimination, noting in particular the O and Q letters. JY Pinnacle is a distinctive text family, with at least 3,100 kerning pairs (for text fonts) and collections of alternative characters for roman, italic and cap and small cap. Pinnacle has an awareness of tradition, but is individual and fresh. Its oblique axis for lowercase letters such as the o and e is meant to aid legibility.

This typeface was developed for the Different Ground exhibition identity (and that explains the name of the font). The aim was to make an absolutely geometric, constructed font. Sometimes even too geometric and too much into it's own rules. But at the same time to make it look very humane, sometimes imperfect and weird, but alive and not soulless.

Pancetta Pro is a squarish sans-serif typeface with semi-closed aperture and pillow-shaped terminals. Benderville comes with a solid construction, an ample x-height, an angular edge, and an attitude to match. A sort of rangy slab-serif with a voice all its own -- a voice that seems to holler "Hey! What you lookin' at?" Its sturdy single weight has a complete character set, including ligatures, diacriticals, and other symbols.

Keep up that great western tradition with Buckle Bold! Buckle was created to be a contemporary twist to old "cowboy" fonts. It is bold while retaining a narrow width. When reduced down, it has a slightly worn look caused by the reduced double diamonds inside the capitals - which does not look out of place at all.

If it's at all possible to "Deco-ize" an Art Deco font even more, it's been done with Roney JNL. Named for one of the classic hotels built during the heyday of Miami Beach, this font is a stylized version of Jeff Levine's Metalet Modern; a design derived from an actual 1940s home movie titling set.

The original name for Ambigue was “Confidence”. This font family received the first prize at the German Kurt Christians-Foerderpreis in 1997/98. Its interpolated weights offer a subtle differentiation in the grey levels. A special “Small” weight is available that offers better readability in very small sizes. Roncial is an Ultra Bold font with a hint of serif. This is one of the fonts originally designed before the advent of digital and started out being a bolder, slightly serifed version of Folio Extra Bold which was one of the boldest fonts at the time (old metal set). Cataneo was designed at Bitstream by Richard Lipton and Jacqueline Sakwa and was initially released in 1993. Cataneo is an elegant chancery cursive typeface, inspired by the work of Bernardino Cataneo, a 16th-century Italian writing master. Cataneo offers as companions, typographer sets of swash characters and extensions to round out the family of three weights.
