Reed is a refined calligraphic font based on humanist italic. It contains two weights and a high-contrast Display style for extra large point sizes. Briller is a super-wide display sans that covers 6 weights, from delicate Thin on one side to chunky Ultra on the other end. Briller tabular figures (via the OT feature) and most of figure related glyphs (such as monetary symbols) are the same width throughout the weights, leaving fun possibilities in pairing them up in contrast while retaining that sense of tabular order. Briller has a character set to support Western and Central European languages. Each weight includes ligatures, proportional lining and tabular figures, fractions and scientific superior/inferior figures.

Currently, the STARSsoft NIKA font family is represented by two fonts - Bold & Bold Italic. The letters and numbers in the font are shown in such a way that there are no holes in the letters and the entire outline of the font consists of one closed line. The font has both a standard Latin set and an extended one. The font also has Cyrillic support. In addition to the Russian Cyrillic alphabet, the font has support for Ukrainian and Kazakh Cyrillic. Alghera Pro is a casual script font family.  It was digitally engineered in 1996 by Pat Hickson of P+P Hickson and Steve Jackaman of International TypeFounders, Inc. (ITF).  Jackaman revamped the family in 2017 and added wider language support to include Western, Central, and Eastern European languages. Alghera Pro has a hand-written, antique feel, and was inspired by an old label on a bottle of Portuguese wine.  As with all the Red Rooster “Pro” versions, the family contains a 40% larger glyph set and improved designs.

Ampmosphere, a picture font, contains instruments and components from a 60's rock and roll band. After a friend's request to create a guitar graphic, I decided to start a set. Over time, more instruments were added along with amps, tubes, lights, etc. The glyphs are great to use individually or combined. 65 detailed glyphs in all... A - Z upper and lower case; 0 - 9; comma, period and forward slash. Upper case A, B, C and D are the separate strings for the stringed instruments a, b, c and d.

Racetrack is the work of American type designer, Alex Kaczun, and was conceived as a result of developing a logo for a client. Alex was experimenting with a uniform grid pattern, outline and inline, connecting the dots which lead to this interesting typeface effect. Racetrack is a bold display font, which also works well at many point sizes. It has a futuristic appeal with straight lines and sharp corners. The uniform strokes, inline treatment and symmetry make for a powerful headline. The applications for this font design are endless.

Distill draws its inspiration mainly from Theo van Doesburg's De Stijl era lettering. The type he designed for the Aubette Café, De Stijl Magazine, etc was used as a starting point and then expanded upon. While this typeface was inspired by historical references, it also has the ability to invoke a contemporary feel under the right conditions. I'm always experimenting with new ideas for display fonts. I took the inside counter of a capital 'O', divided it into quarters, and applied an outline stroke to all the elements. By removing two quarters of the inside counter I had the beginnings for an interesting new design. Of course, the hard part was getting all the other letters in the alphabet to work well together using this approach. It's often a labor of love trying to shape an idea into a new typeface. I find the entire process stimulating and rewarding.

Forest Shaded is the work of Martin Wait. It is reminiscent of the countless eccentric advertisement typefaces at the turn of 20th century. The industrial revolution in England saw the beginning of business advertisement and demanded ever more new and showy typefaces. Forest Shaded is an ornamental outline font and its thick figures have lively, even eccentric, forms, whose shading makes them look three dimensional. Forest Shaded is reminiscent of display window and metal sign typefaces of the late 19th and early 20th centures and is perfect for headlines in large point sizes.

A 1942 photograph showing the exterior of the famous Hollywood restaurant Sardi’s and it’s unusually lettered sign was the inspiration for Fine Food JNL. Classically Art Deco, the Sardi’s sign had an ‘S’ looking like an inverted ‘J’ with a flat tail, a traditional ‘A’ replaced by a triangle and the ‘R’ composed of a ‘D’ with a diagonal extension. These elements were balanced against more traditional [but complementary] characters to retain the novel charm of the original signage. Fine Food JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Garamond Nova Pro is one of the fonts of the SoftMaker font library. It is a modern interpretation of the classic Garamond style. SoftMaker’s Garamond Nova Pro typeface family contains OpenType layout tables for sophisticated typography. When you think of Zealand, you’ll probably think of NEW Zealand. But did you know that New Zealand was named after the Dutch province of Zeeland (meaning Sea-land)? And did you know that there are many sealands in the world? Denmark has Sjælland and there is even a micronation called Sealand off the coast of England. Zealand font is a handmade, all caps display font. I used a Japanese brush pen for the outlines and the fill. It has a nice textured look, making it ideal for book covers and product packaging.

We have created this family from the numerous derivatives in use for newspapers since the middle of the 1800s to the 1970s, inspired by the well known Clarendon. Mainly, the patterns are those used to print Le Petit Journal, a popular French Newspaper of the era (published from 1863 to 1937). The present version contains Normal, Italic, Bold and Bold Italic styles, in two sub families: 1906 French News for texts and titlings with upper and lower case, and 1906 French News Caps (Caps, small caps, small numerals, for texts and titlings).

Inspired by her Swedish and Norwegian heritage, Andrea Leksen created this modern geometric sans serif reminiscent of Scandinavian design and typography.
