Pesto Fresco Italic is a new version of Pesto Fresco handwritten lettering system, a font family built of 27 styles. Overlapping Pesto Fresco Italic Regular with any of the other decorative styles you will get different graphic effects, so just choose the one that fits best with your layout. This font can be used for different purposes from packaging design to web design.

The Art Deco hand lettered opening credits for the 1936 French drama “La Belle Équipe” [English title: “They Were Five”] provided the inspiration for Foreign Film JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions. According to Wikipedia, the film “…tells the story of five unemployed workers who win the jackpot in the national lottery but their solidarity then proves fragile.”

The unusually-shaped hand lettering of Penny Wise JNL was modeled from the cover of the 1936 sheet music for "You Dropped Me Like a Red Hot Penny", and is available in both regular and oblique versions. Although it was drawn during the Art Deco period, this type of lettering design style was revived during the Hippie movement of the 1960s and 1970s.

Hatchway is a monospaced display typeface with rounded corners, suitable for headlines and short passages of text. Hatchway has a tall x-height and unusually short ascenders and descenders. The family contains seven weights from Thin to Black and five widths from Ultra Condensed to Ultra Extended. Geometra is based on Paul Renners Futura Classic, the one that he designed before he had to soften it to make it more appealing to the broad public. I thought the original design would lend itself perfect to make a rounded version, that has got more character than the ever so boring DIN-typeface. Extrabold and exuberant caps from a blackletter face rendered by Ross George in his perennial Speedball Text Book have been combined with a more restrained and traditional lowercase to create a unique and striking typeface that will definitely get noticed. No secret here: this typeface was inspired by the opening credits for the television series "Justified." Alternate upper and lowercase letter to achieve the effect, or—in OpenType-savvy programs—activate the Contextual Alternates (calt) feature. Thin numbers can be found in these positions: ~^{}[]|\<>. The 1935 catalog for Vitrolite (a brand of pigmented structural glass) featured artist renderings of how the glass could be applied to business exteriors. One of the lettering styles used in these examples was an Art Deco lower case. This design has been turned into a digital typeface called Retail Establishment JNL and is available in both regular and oblique versions.

An unnamed alphabet from wacko lettering artist Otto Heim’s 1925 opus, Farbige Alphabete, provided the pattern for this delightful, if slightly deranged, typeface. Use it any time you want to add mirth and merriment to a project. The first in a series of typefaces based on the work of legendary lettering artist Alf Becker, whose works appeared in Signs of the Times magazine for almost thirty years. Originally titled "Extreme Thin Gothic", this was Becker’s 185th design for the magazine. Comixed RP Bold and Comixed RP Bold Outline are two new fonts designed by British designer Roy Preston and released by BluHead Studio, LLC. Comixed is a bold, condensed cap-only typeface, with a lively, animated charm. The Outline version turns up the fun factor by adding a drop shadow. Used alone or together, both are great for snappy, eye-catching headlines!

Here's a faithful rendering of a typeface originally named Octic, from the 1884 specimen book of the Palmer & Rey Type Foundry of San Francisco. Its geometric severity is softened by the gently scalloped "bites" taken out of the corner. Sets tight to make attention-getting headlines. Both versions contain the complete Latin 1252, Central European 1250 and Turkish 1254 character sets.

The hand lettered title on the cover of the 1938 sheet music for “If It Rains – Who Cares” featured a condensed Art Deco typeface made with a round nib pen. The square shaped characters with rounded corners were a perfect subject for a digital font revival, and are now available as Dip Pen Deco JNL, in both regular and oblique versions.

The inspiration for this typeface—originally called Elefanta—enjoyed popularity stateside in the late nineteenth century, an import from the Karl Brendler & Söhne foundry of Vienna. Its graceful yet playful elegance makes it suited for a wide range of projects where projecting warmth is desirable. Chili is a version of our Texas Chili font with the spurs removed. The Chili font family also includes a Unicase i that's balanced to the weight of the uppercase. A playful, casual take on round nib pen lettering was spotted amongst some online scans from an old lettering book. The free-form and stylized shapes of the letters and numbers are reminiscent of old-time show cards, movie titles and signage in vogue around the early 1900s through the 1920s. This typeface made its first appearance in Schelter & Giesecke's 1915 specimen book. It exhibits the cleanness and crispness one might expect in a sans-serif face, along with a few unexpected grace notes that make it warm and friendly, as well. White On White is a display font not intended for text use. It was designed specifically for display, headline, logotype, branding, and similar applications. White On White has an uppercase alphabet, numbers, and punctuation. For convenience, the uppercase alphabet is repeated under the lowercase keys. Only the portions of the characters that are outlined by the 3D-simulated depth are visible.

A little Compacta, a little Impact, a little photolettering from the 70s, all rolled into one make for a unique headline face that commands attention. Although this font is primarily unicase, the lowercase positions feature stylistic alternates, so can can mix things up and pack them in. An early 20th-Century French lettering book displayed at an online image sharing site stood out with a hand-lettered version of a classic Victorian font. The lettering - a spur serif top and a split serif (or "Western-style") bottom is the basis for Jeff Levine's Les Folies JNL. All of the nuances and idiosyncracies of hand-lettering are left intact.

Belgian is a revival of an old type font from the Bruce Type Foundry of New York, Belgian was first designed as a caps-only font in the 1860s with the lowercase added in 1867. New to this classic font are the Black, Open, Inline and Distressed versions. Also new to Belgian is the addition of a Greek character set.

Show Card Deco JNL is a hybrid of examples from hand lettered titles found on various song folios from the Carl Fischer Music Library circa the 1930s and is available in both regular and oblique versions. This particular typeface lends itself perfectly to show cards, posters, headlines and display titling which captures the modern, streamlined design of the Art Deco era.

Cycles was designed for use in books and other publications with lengthy texts and/or complex typography using different sizes of type. Different versions of Cycles have been designed which are optimized for setting at specific point sizes as was the practice in the days of metal type. Together with Stone Print, SFPL, and Arepo it makes up a superfamily of typefaces.

Here’s a warm, casual text font based on an early twentieth century work by lettering artist Elizabeth Colwell, released by American Type Founders in 1923. For this update, all four fonts have been completely redrawn, and many new characters have been added. Both versions of this font contain the complete Latin A Extended character set, as well as extended ligatures and fractions.
