Farmer's Marker is an ode to the hobby-farmer and their honest and hardworking (but not too serious) lifestyle. The font reflects a vision of a farmer who quickly scrawls down her produce (72 Eggs + 20L of Milk + 2kg Honey) before she heads off to the market to do her best to sell what she has farmed. It is a casual, freehand, marker script that doesn't take itself too seriously. It is hand drawn by me, then meticulously perfected in Illustrator while leaving in just enough small imperfections that the font retains it's humanistic, hand-drawn and personal feel. The font will lend itself perfectly to rustic restaurant menu's, organic branding and packaging, social media content, child-centric design, travel posters, humanitarian organisations and much more.

Bakery Script is the Argentine duo's nod to the high spirits of the 1970s. Angel Koziupa used his ever popular wild brush to draw the outline version, and Alejandro Paul refined it, expanded it, then extrapolated the solid version. The Adinkra name, by legend, comes from the King who was conquered by the Ashante people of Ghana. The king, Adinkra, wore wonderful patterned fabrics. Adinkra means “goodbye,” and the symbols were reserved for funeral garments. Today the symbols are part of the Ghana popular culture and around the world. An elegant, contemporary and quirky handwriting font inspired by fonts such as Satisfaction and Nothing. There are many handwriting fonts out there, almost all of them tending to highlight the individuality of a particular person's handwriting. I wanted to go beyond this. What I've always wanted was to write in an elegant, casual yet legible style: something which my own hand often refuses to do. So I set out to produce the handwriting of my dreams - this font. While it doesn't match my dreams 100%, it certainly comes close! Affable comes in three styles, Affable Regular, Affable Blak and Affable Lite. The Affable family is fully professional, carefully letterspaced and kerned. All upper and lower case characters, punctuation, numerals and accented characters are present.

During the period of the Great American Depression, “hobos” created a system of symbols to communicate and assist fellow travelers. These symbols would mark a home, farm, fence or other structure to indicate what to expect in the area. They would tip off travelers on how to find food, stay safe and what to avoid and more. In some areas of the USA, these symbols are still visible and have also become part of the American popular culture. These 96 symbols are accompanied by a pdf describing what the symbol was used to indicate. Information displays have an aesthetic of their own. Functional design where transmission of information is key — and best in real time. Informative is a typeface consisting of a whole family of sans fonts and a collection of thematic pictograms. This combination of two different types of communication reflects the current need for using text and images as means of conveying information in a complementary way. Squalo, the genesis The idea of this project called Squalo popped into my mind while I was working with excitement on some sketches. I was chasing after a strong typographical character, something that for me has to be crystallized in form which is always legible and functional. The concept The concept of Squalo arises from the observation of an athlete’s body: you notice that even if most are lean, they are also strong, cut and chiselled. The sport they play molds and modify their bodies.  Just think, for instance, on a professional swimmer: during the competition every single muscle, tendon, tissue, cell is working to swim faster. Every single part is there to give strength and speed like in a “squalo” (shark in italian). Not as an eel, nor as a mermaid, nor as a hake. Just like a shark. If you take a quick look, you will notice that the width of the typeface is slightly more condensed than that of a standard sans serif. We designed Squalo this way specifically to assist and strengthen your concepts through stylized typography. We designed the joins and terminals (tip ends) of the characters A, V, W, Z, v, w, z, to create a feeling of “tension”, reinforcing the concept of shark, danger, caution, as well explicit, intentional movement. Pure strength. We wanted to recall the exact moment of the start of the 100 meters race: when the sprinter initially spreads all of his powerful energy. The italic version, starting with the former two typographical concepts of width and tension, emphasizes them. First of all, we compressed the characters 10 percent more, and slanted it 10 degrees to the right. With this movement I intended to convey the gorgeous feeling of tension in power and rapidity. The typeface has 9 weights, from “hair” to “black”, and two versions, “regular” and “italic”.  All 18 fonts include small caps, unicase, tabular and oldstyle numbers, numerators and denominators, and much more.
